I have that same jenereiro but it has a problem, it turns on the first time but turning it off after a few minutes it no longer turns on I have to wait hours for it to turn on what problem do you think it has
Coil. it gets weak spark when warm. new coil time.

Sorry, no. but it takes 10w30 in winter 10w40 in summer takes 3/4 a quart to fill
@@smallengineguys thank you so much for the immediate response truly appreciated. I'm dealing with a spark no start right now I'm not sure if it's something to do with the oil pressure switch or the fuel. (I did disconnect the oil pressure switch and still no go). There isn't many videos out on these types of generators, a solid diagnostic video for this generator would be great. Thanks again for the help I truly appreciate it.
just spray some carb or brake clean in the carb. just a little squirt. pull till it fires if it fires then shuts off it is carb if not check plug is it wet or dry.
@@smallengineguys I tried with starter fluid n it didn't even try. I unscrewed the carb bowl bolt n no gas game through, yes the valve was set to on. I shut it off n I disconnected the line turned the valve to on n gas came out the hose. So im assuming the gas was going into the carb itself. Just took the carb apart n cleaned it. It was pretty bad. The carb bowl was caked badly, the pin holes in the bolt thing were clogged. I got it out n the jet thing was nearly completely clogged. Cleaned everything n am putting it back together now

Hi , I have a Honda em25 cycloconverter generator but I got it without electronics (module and front panel), just engine with flywheel and coils inside . Is there any ways to bypass all of that and make it run ? Or any modifications regarding , Thanks

I do realize this video is years old, I cleaned as you posted but it’s doing the same thing, runs a few seconds and quits. It has been sitting for a yr or so, wasn’t used because it wouldn’t stay going. So wanted to try again. Also, that gasket you forgot does not fit on backside of carb. I removed from front. Any help would be appreciated. BTW, excellent video.
Still carb. Or at least fuel issue. But in case make sure oil is full. The oil sensor kicks on easy. Single yellow wire going into side of motor is oil sensor. Simply unplug to bypass.
@@smallengineguys Tried again this a.m. Will run fast with choke out but not when choke is in. I had been able to take jet out but the tube didn’t fall out like yours, you had said no matter can be cleaned thru opening…but this a.m. I pushed it out and it was gunked up! Cleaned and thought, yea, my problem solved. I guess I will pull apart again and clean AGAIN, unless you have any other advice.
I cleaned again. Will run with chock open, dies when pushed in. Thx for your help.
@@mtnmonamona842 choke open is choke off. It should run choke open. If you mean opposite then clean that jet again.
@@smallengineguys UGGGGGG, yea, I will clean again although looks much cleaner than your video, all pieces shines. Will only run when the choke lever is pulled out, dies when pushed in. Thanks. I need this forum, thank you.

I did everything you did in the video because my generator was surging and it still surges if I pull the choke out maybe 1/4 then it’s smooth out what’s the problem please
did you clean the idle jet under the idle screw. do you have all of the gaskets between the carb and isolator block and the isolator block and the engine? new gas? all is yes then the main jet is still clogged and needs to be poked with a wire and acid washed. wire wheel wire is perfect size.
I notice u forgot to put the skinny spring back on, let me know if that spring will make the generator run sluggish?
at 7:26 i hook the spring up. if you dont it will surge

I’ve got the same generator and it will crank up and run for a few seconds and shut off. I’ve cleaned the carb and changed oil with the correct level. The output light and oil light come on and it shuts off. I left the throttle arm off and it will idle and soon as I crack the throttle it dies. It will fire right back up with one pull. Any thoughts is greatly appreciated
Single yellow wire on side of motor is oil sensor. Unplug it. If it stays running its either bad sensor or low oil.

they are ok. i wouldn't call it quiet but not horribly loud either.
