    I’m also a biker but the majority of “incidents” posted are normally the bike riders acting like idiots. E.g. going at double the speed limit and then flipping people off for not seeing them. I’m no angel and also speed at times but we all need to take responsibility for the potential consequences of doing that

      Legit. In the UK people expect bikers to be filtering, no so much here in Ireland. Even though it's also legal here, every time I start filtering I understand and accept the responsibility. Seems a lot of bikers take it as some sort of right and throw caution to the wind 🤷‍♀

I don't care too much if you're doing 150 mph in your car just as long as you're paying attention its WAY more safe for everyone, just do that and put the phone down, its worse than driving drunk (and that's not to say that's safe, I watch so many people flying off the roads after almost smashing into school busses and other cars because they are high on who knows what, then peeling down residential streets all within 5 seconds...)

Don't make it easy for Brittany's attorney to make it look like you wanted your flat black, non-Dot lighted, projector headlamped bobber, to get smacked by her Lexus 300,, Make sure her Johnnie Cochran doesn't have a 17 min mixture of dashcam footage to show the judge how easy your R6 can stitch traffic at 20 over the flow.. Really infuriating are those "sportscar" deathboxers trying to keep any bike *_behind_* 'em under any circumstances and with lifethreatening actions - their cars should be slowly crashed and cubed right before their eyes and their licenses should be revoked. @@manfredschmalbach9023 oh no I agree with you completely. Bikes are way faster. My only problem is there's probably a legal place to pass somewhere up the road. I ride but I'm just very patient. I'm not gonna fly by someone even if it's a passing zone. It's one thing to let a biker pass but the only way to legally let someone pass is to actually pull over to the side of the road, and it's basically never legal to cross a double yellow line, especially in an area where basically every curve is a blind corner. I'm all about being nice and letting people go if it doesn't make any difference in anyone's day. But if you're willing to potentially get into a head on collision with a vehicle that could possibly have children inside, that's pushing it. My biggest thing that annoys me about bike riders is when you have two lanes of traffic going in the same direction and the bike riders come up in the middle and go to the front. They should wait in line like the cars have to

      @Confusedduckling499 Рік тому +8

      Except when it's completely legal like in all of Europe and California.
      Lane splitting/filtering is permitted to ease congestion and increase safety of riders getting hit from behind at a stop.

    • @argrides8440
      @argrides8440 Рік тому +5

      That means the riders run the risk of getting crushed when someone behind them isn't paying attention, as well as the line of traffic getting quite a bit longer for anyone still approaching. Following your reasoning, we should not even have more than 1 lane to begin with, so no lane can be faster than the other.

    • @alanrobinson2901

      @@Confusedduckling499 Yep, however, many on these video's are NOT doing it legally, as there are rules to splitting, like speed and flow (in Cali) and they ignore that and just do it.

      Think a little, does a bike doing that cause you any harm or delay?
      Usually, before the cars get going the rider is already thru the intersection.
