Correct pickup position.(4th position on a S type guitar ) - Correct amount of gain /drive ( overdrive pedal of your choice ) into AC style amp /amp model +IR . Then play polyphia. Simple as that . To Make it even better , use compressor pedal to tighten up dynamics and your tone and feel will sound nicer . Add a little reverb. Done
@@Johnny_blu You don't need his guitar for the tone. Any guitar with an SS configuration in 4th position will get you the base tone you need. I have a strat and was able to get a pretty damn close tone in 4th position

He made a mistake at 4:30, he says to slide up from 5th fret to 12th fret and then 2 harmonics at the end. What he didn't say was there is an open high E string after sliding to 12th fret. So it's sliding to the 12th fret, open high E string then 2 harmonics
Usually chord progression of their songs are pretty easy, so it's just playing over these chords mostly with pentatonic scales, but the way they do it is really amazing and the variety of techniques they use.
