Ahhh those were the glory days. Sending booster boxes to Mexico was probably a stupid idea in hindsight haha, I really should’ve shipped solely in the USA and UK since I have residency in both and can get law enforcements involved. But alas you live and learn. And then Shopify… yeah that was a weird one. Not heard of it happen to anyone else! Yeah I’m going to start showcasing some rarer promos in shorts soon and explaining where they’re from. Looked through the collection last night and came across a few cards I’d completely forgotten I had bought. Always a nice surprise haha
Cool to see what you've learned from being a seller. Wish more buyers would understand the work that goes into selling, especially when they're complaining about you not being the cheapest on the market
Great tips. Each very important. There’s so much hidden time in running a Pokémon business. After watching the market in our local area change, we switched to almost 100% in person event sales. All three of your points apply here, too. Researching the event audience, the products, current prices, carrying enough sealed, singles, and graded cards, but not too much to go into debt, and knowing when we need to take a break are essential. It’s not for everyone. The time involved can be just as much and the seller has to enjoy face to face communication.
@@PokeJebel yes, you do! From card specific events to local anime events you meet Pokémon fans with fun stories about their collections and what they are currently hunting. Some even bring their binders for filling and/or trading. To your continued successes!
Good to hear about your experience. I remember when you got scammed and Shopify kicking you. Would love to see your collection.

That’s awesome that you changed to in person event sales. I love that idea. Haven’t been to an event myself, definitely need to go to some!
