- How to save up money easily for a house or for a new car? Learn a genius hack on how to save more money each month. As a bonus, we'll tell teach you how to safely hide your cash.
"If only I could stop spending money on stuff I don’t need, I would buy so many useful things!" Have you ever thought this? Then this video is just for you.
RULE 1: Subtract the last digit from each number to get a zero at the end. It’s easier to “zero out” cash into a piggy bank, and you may use a savings account or any other bank account to transfer the money from your card.
RULE 2: Save everything that’s left over before payday - "zero out" one more time at the end of the month. For instance, you still have $300 in cash and $1,000 in the bank - just move it to your savings account.

If you feel like you have run out of places to hide your money, try the following suggestions:
• Wrap your money in a plastic bag, and tape it to the bottom of the kitchen counter or to the bottom of your kid’s toy box (the best option is to create a false bottom in it).
• In a waterproof container stored in the lowest drawer of your refrigerator or freezer. Make sure it doesn’t read "Ice cream" or something else yummy thieves might want to try.
• Hide your savings among buttons, threads, and other sewing accessories. Unless thieves suddenly need to sew something, they most probably won’t look for your money in there.
• In a pair of old shoes, clothes, or maybe in an old computer that no longer works. Make sure it all looks like junk you have not disposed of yet.

I love your comment about rounding up the money. I wished to save up to get my home decorated. So i saved in a pattern like 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 up to 30 per day and then back down to 1 again. It made the right amount of money. I wished to pay off my mortgage so i set rewards. Then I was able to do over payments of up to 500 per month without fees. At the moment I save 750 per month. I already have a regular saver with 3600 in it.

Some are saving for retirement (bad idea) and others to purchase liabilities or to travel which is fine, but it makes more sense to save up for a profit producing asset that will help fund your liabilities and expenses rather than using your only source of fixed income which is your pay check. Why cut back on expenses just to be able to afford more expenses? lol

I’m saving money for a trip to visit my girlfriend (long distance relationship) and a MacBook Pro laptop. Trip is gonna be 1000$-1500$ and the laptop will be 1957$ tax included (I went to the store and asked how much the laptop is including taxes and that’s what I was told). Planning on putting money towards both separately. I want that laptop for when I go away on my trip.

Let's just say I'm getting there because life has taught me a lot, I lost my job as head of my department and decided sourcing other income means without working everyday then I put $ 10k into Stock options and forex trading which has been giving me close to 20k monthly all it takes is one shift and everything will be alright

I made a false bottom in my drawer to keep unspent cash, there is a hole in the bottom that can push the false bottom upwards so I can open it. I usually use a pen to push it up

Some great tips here! My bank has a feature set up that rounds the penny's up and saves it. I also use plum and saved a few hundred there but recently spent everything it's a nightmare! So I really need new ways to save :)

Simple, my schoolbag has an extra pocket in between the pockets, so i cut a slit small enough for my hand to get in to stuff my money in, and if it gets full ill take the money to change them into a buck to create more space, so far i saved up 47 dollars for the past 2 weeks(since i only save up in school hours but not in weekend but i have a golden rule, if i randomly receive 2 dollars or more in the weekends like from a gift from your family or anyone, ill keep the 2 dollars and keep the extra for myself unless if its 4 then i have no choice to save it, the reason why i chose 2 dollars as my limit is because i calculated the days when i get the right amount i want)

The best advices I can give are: Don’t buy it until you can afford it twice. Just because you can afford it doesn’t mean you HAVE TO buy it.

Burying it in the backyard was genius actually. I don’t have any pets. I would bury it on the dead of night away from prying neighbors plus my house is pretty fenced in so there’s no way they could’ve looked anyway. And as far as rain and other environmental factors. The cash would be in a plastic waterproof bag and the bag in a relatively small Locked metal box or safe. Literally any environmental concerns can be dealt with depending on what material you bury it in. Unless they shot you, (and even then someone who heard it might still call the police) thieves are most likely gonna be pressed for time so digging up the backyard won’t even occur to them and even if it did it could take ages to figure out where exactly in the backyard it was buried. So it seems perfect to me🤷🏾♀️ 👌🏾
