My WebOS23 shows a WebOS banner on top of the home screen, how is it possible for other users to have an LG channels banner or Appletv promotion banner to replace it?
i didn't hear anything that's different, this is sort of a clickbait video with random video clip art. I just want to know what the advantage is. Because i'm not seeing any.
Don't like the LG tv because if they releases a new webos version, unfortunately they didn't make a plan to upgrade previous tv models just like webos22 much better in google tv because 3yrs of software upgrades rather than webos.
the cpus are diffrence, that's why.. but 2021 and 2022 tvs should get webos 23 tho.. should but lg doesn;t care what we want, still there are sponsored stuff in 23 version..
LG just announced the WebOS Re:New program this year (2024) which allows TVs from 2022 and onward to update to newer versions of WebOS for the next 5 years. Just today, I updated my LG G2 bought in 2022 from WebOS 22 to WebOS 23.

having 22 version means there's no even a point of changing your tv into 2023 one..
How can I get the tv to stop asking me to update it every time I turn it on? I'm sick of seeing it and I am not updating it.
