Man, such door locks are known for one thing mostly, how easy they are to break or pick. They usually solve a problem by introducing many weaknesses.
If it has code in it people are calling it AI. that’s just not the case. Kinda bothers me how much people overuse the word AI to try and sell their stuff.
I really appreciate my screen-less car. We are going a bit overboard here
I just got a Tesla which is essentially only a screen. I found the transition to just not be that bad at all. We’ve had buttons in cars as long as they’ve existed so we’re extremely used to it and hesitant to try a new system, myself very much included in that crowd, but it’s really not as big of a deal as you’d think.
@@alexlabs4858they should have added a couple more buttons back in - seat heaters for all seats, front and back are the ones that annoy me the most.
But yeah, overall, a super easy car to use.

it was ok, but nothing of real interest, only gimmicks. i did find the sony honda care super dangerous with all those distractions. i would never consider a car like that.

You missed a start up that unveiled this electric RV that can transform into a 400 square-foot home of sorts. They had a booth with virtual reality at CES where you can see the vehicle through virtual reality.
That sounds awesome! I think I only saw 50% of the booths over the 3 days. It’s such a huge event!

Just what the World needs more throwaway pods but don't worry when there is no more snow and the temperature reaches 150 degrees we can make landfill shelters out of them and ski down the outsides.
Good thing I will be able to cool off with an ice cream, frozen latte, boozy ice cream, cocktail, smoothie, protein shakes, or a non-dairy dozen dessert!😋

CES 2024 was a great experience. The partnership between Mediatek and ACCESS Europe was a revolution for in-car tech. The combination of chipsets and a dedicated app store will redefine the driving experience.
The new dashboard or the infotainment system is going to have an app store for just car purposes. ACCESS and Mediatek are collaborating on it.

it boggles my mind that in 2024, standard cookers’ ovens can only heat up to about 240 Celsius. You need to buy a standalone specialist oven to go up to 400+ Celsius, to be able to bake pizza. Home cooking is still in the stone age. By now the oven in a standard cooker should be able to bake pizza to pro standard, in under two minutes, as pizza ovens do.

Thanks for the overview. What I do miss is someone who takes the time to cover everything. Just simply booth by booth... Or does it exist? Or is it just impossible? You have shown a lot of stuff that others didn't, but most UA-camrs all show the same things.

I agree. Most of the time, when they say "AI," they're really just talking about machine learning compared to traditional programming. People just hear AI and get excited, even though they don't even know what it really is, haha.

a sony car with dangerous distractions and another tv fad that will likely disappear faster than 3D tv's. i can see the benefit of see through tv's in stores, but just useless in the living room.
All these pod using devices are the worst
A plethora of opportunities to get trapped inside digital ecosystems that will totally leave you helpless when they fail. The keyless lock has already managed to create havoc at a nearby apartment building I'm luckily not a part of. Tech is fun but I prefer my tactile and traditional solutions for important functions. And those infoscreens and touch displays in cars? What a nightmare. Totally distractive and pointless, as VAG had to learn the hard way. Humans prefer tactile interaction with haptics in those type of environments.
Electric cars are waaaaaay worse for the environment that standard gas it's a proven fact . This madness has to end now .

Everything in this video is absolutely garbage especially the Sony car! I've never seen a car that's supposed to be futuristic that literally has everything in it that current cars have now. Also, none of these devices are useful. This is just sad. We should just stop doing videos at CES because I promise you bro. There's literally no reason for this stuff to be in the wild. Not to mention everything you showed in this video we've already had since 2016 and beyond. So again what is new at this show?
