Note: For some reason the video freezes for about 20 seconds from 17:50. This is the 2nd time this is happening. Will check and find the cause and do my best to ensure that this does not happen again. Pardon this glitch. Cheers!

if the raw footage for those 20 seconds is fine then i think the problem is with the video editor or the youtube compression algorithm. If the exported final video os good then it should mostly be the youtube compression thing.

Your introduction is the biggest unspoken truth in motorcycling. Coming back to motorcycling, over 2.5 seasons of factory test rides allowed me to see what I like, what I don’t like, and in my case, sitting on a scram 411 in a showroom, I dismissed it as not comfortable. I had 30 mins to kill before going to a BMW ride. An RE Scram 411 was available, so I took it out. It put such a smile on my face, and supremely comfortable for 3hr rides. I was sold on the spot. Keep on spreading the truth! People need to ride the bikes for themselves!

Any day this is a better motorcycle than it's own sibling speed 400.
Even for everyday city commuting, no off-road, no touring, only office going machine (for which the speed is made of) the 400x shines.
Triumph's & Bajaj's collaboration gives us one of the finest and best motorcycle of this segment and more importantly made the market competitive 😁

    Hi Bosky and CK
I booked my Scrambler 400x yesterday. Was getting the black ex stock but will wait 3 weeks for the olive green..
Problem is..i rode 300km to Bhubaneswar Triumph- on a friends Harley 440x that was due for 1st service. The way the Harley handled on acc of engine, chassis & suspension was..wowww
So i booked the Scrambler, but decided to ease out my existing Enfields 500(2016) & 650(2021) and get the HD440 .
For my next tour of NE in April will be spoilt for choice between the Elegant ClassyScrambler & the Robust n Ready 440x...
For long term ownership and touring i would trust the Harley better..air cooled plus it seems built like a tractor..
Enjoy your work guys, keep em coming. Salute

@@bigbearbangalore the Triumph accessories I like are the small windscreen, center tank pad, luggage rack, and the high mud guard.
Not sure if upgraded seat is worth the expense, but it does look sharp.
I want both the upper and lower engine bars. Still not sure if the upper one comes with the bike. The reviews from India say that it does. I still can’t get a straight answer on that.
I also like the bullet style turn lights. Again not sure it’s worth the add on price.
Luggage has been a big thought and I believe the Mosko Moto Reckless 80 will solve all my needs with a Triumph specific Cruz Tools kit in the Fatty Tool Roll.

On another note, yesterday I got a news that Triumph is planning a backrest and centre stand for Scrambler 400x. I hope it gets launched soon. I was in a need of backrest and hence purchased and assembled it, and later got the news. I purchased the one which sits on the OEM handlebars and hence we do not sacrifice the pretty grab handles. Hope the news will help others, so they can wait a couple of months and get the accessories, if at all the news is true.

If you both were college together this is how you would've discussed and reviewed the hot babe in class! 😁 On a serious note, I have no issues as such with my Scrambler. However, if I were to nitpick, I would complain about the gear shift - doesn't feel as smooth, and feels clunky sometimes. No issues with the clutch, which is smooth as butter! Thank you for the review. I too own a Scrambler 400X, and have done my first 1,000 Km on it now. I love it. One thing I noticed though, is that at low speeds - anything below 40 Km/hr - the motorcycle exhibits some jerkiness. It doesn't matter which gear I am on. And this happens on perfectly flat, smooth road surfaces while keeping a steady throttle. It does not go smoothly, but rather continuous back-and-forth jerking, and the slower you go, the more noticeable it is. Is this normal? I am looking for feedback from people who own the bike. Is this a normal single-cylinder behavior, or is there something wrong with my bike? Thank you.

TS400x is unbridled in city traffic due to stalling issues continuously. And wide turning radius with spongy breaks for city over Himalayan 450. If they sort out these than weight is an advantage but you can reduce same in h450 as well.

Buy it! It's a great machine. On open highways at speeds above 110 kmph, the wind blast gets quite strong. That's the design of the motorcycle and not a defect. While it is possible to use this on the highway, we find it a bit tiring on long open stretches.

I like the look & finishing of the Triumph Speed 400 more than the Scrambler 400x & the avaliable color option of Speed 400 as well, but at the same time the Speed 400 feels just little bit compact and the Scrambler seat height is too much high. (My preferably seat height is 805 to max 820 mm & My height is exactly 5 feet 75 inch) & My Traveling areas Consist Of 75% City/NH, 25% Village Road with potholes).
I have no problem in spending some extra bucks to get the modifications I want. How can I modified Triumph speed 400 to Scrambler 400x without compromising riding quality ? Or is it a waste of money and foolish to even think about doing so ?
I mean I am thinking about to replace Triumph Speed's only front travel suspension or may be both front & Rear (5.9 inches in the front & 5.5 inches or 5.9 inches in the rear), Steel handel bar (901 mm), front Sprocket (14 tooth) & front Wheels (19 Inches) with Scrambler 400x. What will you suggest in this case ?
Is such modification possible, if yes, will it affect the riding experience and handling posture or will it cause any other problems in long run ?

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to take a short test ride of the Scrambler 400X.
Regrettably, the buzz coming from the foot pegs and the seat detracted from our overall experience. I had a pillion with me, and both of us were able to perceive these vibrations even at lower speeds. Despite this, I found the motorcycle's posture, suspension, and responsive engine commendable.
I am curious whether the pronounced vibrations were a result of the test drive vehicle enduring extensive/abusive use by various individuals and reviewers? Additionally, I am interested in understanding if these vibrations become exasperating during highway cruising.
    Thank you.

Middle weight single will have this buzz. 400X, H450 and 390Adv all have the buzz in the legs.
Especially if one’s coming from a smaller cc vehicle, this is something to get used to. And also get used to the heat and also the engine noise. All part of the package!

Happens to me too. Went to reddit and people suggested an ECU update will fix the issue. But also saw another rider point out that high compression engines are very much prone to bad quality fuels. So I started using shell vpower, the bike didn't face any stalling issues, then I switched back to normal petrol and now facing the stalling issues again. Mixing VPOWER and normal with a 50:50 ratio also didn't work.

@@abykuruvilla Are you sure about the high compression theory? Because I think if that were the case then the 390's would face similar issues and I don't think there have been similar complaints about those bikes.
Also can you clarify when exactly does it stall? Does it stall in any gear as long as the revs are low enough and you fully engage the clutch or does it happen only in higher gears (4 and above)? I didn't see this issue in my test rides but due to traffic I wasn't able to push beyond 3rd gear.
