  • Hello,
The day I first rode the 400X, I fell in love with it and I booked one. Took me a while to get mine but it was totally worth the wait. Here, CK and I discuss what makes the 400X so special in my opinion. Hope you enjoy watching. Cheers!

if the raw footage for those 20 seconds is fine then i think the problem is with the video editor or the youtube compression algorithm. If the exported final video os good then it should mostly be the youtube compression thing.

Your introduction is the biggest unspoken truth in motorcycling. Coming back to motorcycling, over 2.5 seasons of factory test rides allowed me to see what I like, what I don’t like, and in my case, sitting on a scram 411 in a showroom, I dismissed it as not comfortable. I had 30 mins to kill before going to a BMW ride. An RE Scram 411 was available, so I took it out. It put such a smile on my face, and supremely comfortable for 3hr rides. I was sold on the spot. Keep on spreading the truth! People need to ride the bikes for themselves!

Flabbergasted on your review Sir. Spoke absolutely what I am feeling everyday riding my scrambler❤. On another note, yesterday I got a news that Triumph is planning a backrest and centre stand for Scrambler 400x. I hope it gets launched soon. I was in a need of backrest and hence purchased and assembled it, and later got the news. I purchased the one which sits on the OEM handlebars and hence we do not sacrifice the pretty grab handles. Hope the news will help others, so they can wait a couple of months and get the accessories, if at all the news is true.

I bought this bike on an impulse. Have risen it about 1100kms on twisties. Absolutely love the stance which lends into the overall handling of the bike. For someone who is wanting to get back on a bike after about 18 years, it’s not intimidating and just too much fun. Can’t wait for all the adventures that await.

    Hi Bosky and CK
I booked my Scrambler 400x yesterday. Was getting the black ex stock but will wait 3 weeks for the olive green..
Problem is..i rode 300km to Bhubaneswar Triumph- on a friends Harley 440x that was due for 1st service. The way the Harley handled on acc of engine, chassis & suspension was..wowww
So i booked the Scrambler, but decided to ease out my existing Enfields 500(2016) & 650(2021) and get the HD440 .
For my next tour of NE in April will be spoilt for choice between the Elegant ClassyScrambler & the Robust n Ready 440x...
For long term ownership and touring i would trust the Harley better..air cooled plus it seems built like a tractor..
Enjoy your work guys, keep em coming. Salute

Any day this is a better motorcycle than it's own sibling speed 400.
Even for everyday city commuting, no off-road, no touring, only office going machine (for which the speed is made of) the 400x shines.
Triumph's & Bajaj's collaboration gives us one of the finest and best motorcycle of this segment and more importantly made the market competitive 😁

@@bigbearbangalore the Triumph accessories I like are the small windscreen, center tank pad, luggage rack, and the high mud guard.
Not sure if upgraded seat is worth the expense, but it does look sharp.
I want both the upper and lower engine bars. Still not sure if the upper one comes with the bike. The reviews from India say that it does. I still can’t get a straight answer on that.
I also like the bullet style turn lights. Again not sure it’s worth the add on price.
Luggage has been a big thought and I believe the Mosko Moto Reckless 80 will solve all my needs with a Triumph specific Cruz Tools kit in the Fatty Tool Roll.
For Navigation I will be using the REVER App with my IPhone on a Quad lock mount.

If you both were college together this is how you would've discussed and reviewed the hot babe in class! 😁 On a serious note, I have no issues as such with my Scrambler. However, if I were to nitpick, I would complain about the gear shift - doesn't feel as smooth, and feels clunky sometimes. No issues with the clutch, which is smooth as butter! I really wish this bike came with a heel shifter as well....planning to fix one soon....

I’ve got a question for you which might be irrelevant for this video but your views really matter.

    Good video, enjoyed it..
You being so technically sound, which I really admire, I would like to request you to make a video that explains how the torque and power is available in different bikes at different rpms..every bike specs let us know about 40ps @certain_rpm for example, but is it available from get go, or certain rpms or 20% of that nm and ps is available at 2000 rpms and then 40ps at certain_rpm etc.
All of these things matter a lot while choosing a bike, and many people only fall for the top numbers, not many reviewers talk about these power deliveries at different rpms because they themselves do not know, they are only beauty-queen-reviewers, hope this comment will get some consideration :), thank you, keep on making amazing videos with different flavours..!!

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to take a short test ride of the Scrambler 400X.
Regrettably, the buzz coming from the foot pegs and the seat detracted from our overall experience. I had a pillion with me, and both of us were able to perceive these vibrations even at lower speeds. Despite this, I found the motorcycle's posture, suspension, and responsive engine commendable.
I am curious whether the pronounced vibrations were a result of the test drive vehicle enduring extensive/abusive use by various individuals and reviewers? Additionally, I am interested in understanding if these vibrations become exasperating during highway cruising.
    Thank you.

Middle weight single will have this buzz. 400X, H450 and 390Adv all have the buzz in the legs.
Especially if one’s coming from a smaller cc vehicle, this is something to get used to. And also get used to the heat and also the engine noise. All part of the package!

Happens to me too. Went to reddit and people suggested an ECU update will fix the issue. But also saw another rider point out that high compression engines are very much prone to bad quality fuels. So I started using shell vpower, the bike didn't face any stalling issues, then I switched back to normal petrol and now facing the stalling issues again. Mixing VPOWER and normal with a 50:50 ratio also didn't work.

    • @abhishekkalahal2093
      @abhishekkalahal2093 5 місяців тому

@@abykuruvilla Are you sure about the high compression theory? Because I think if that were the case then the 390's would face similar issues and I don't think there have been similar complaints about those bikes.
Also can you clarify when exactly does it stall? Does it stall in any gear as long as the revs are low enough and you fully engage the clutch or does it happen only in higher gears (4 and above)? I didn't see this issue in my test rides but due to traffic I wasn't able to push beyond 3rd gear.

I saw a few KTM 390 users and a BMW user also pointing out the same. The current tuning of Scrambler 400x makes it more widespread than others. Probably an ECU update will increase the tolerance.

I guess you have saved the negatives for your next video. I rode both the Speed and the scrambler and definitely the Scrambler makes sense in terms of Suspension, Foot peg position, posture with the handlebar, pick up and all other things you ve said.. however, would I BUY one..hmm may be not so soon.. after my ride yesterday on the scrambler my thighs were thoroughly cooked. The braking was also below par to my liking. The finish of the silencer wasn't great either..looked very aftermarket- Not sure if it's the same with all others, but the one I rode from Keerthi motors on JP Nagar, definitely had my thighs wanting to dip them in cold water. Also, did not find it that flickable ( in my opinion the RE Hunter has better flickability). Bike kept stalling at low speeds which is SO IRRITATING 🤔
In my opinion, I would tell myself to wait for Triumph to come up with a 2.0 version negating the niggles..
