If you were into moto, ODI makes lock on grips. They make a throttle cam for the DRZs. Got them on mine. If you run hand guards just drill out the ends.

You hit the nail on the head with things that can be improved upon.
The Seat Concepts seat was of the best upgrades I did. So much better! You can buy the seat as a whole including the pan or go the cheaper route and buy the kit and swap your foam and cover out yourself using the same seat pan.

Yeah, I plan on eventually getting the complete seat so I can have my stock one just in case something happens to the Seat Concepts one.

Before I watch, my 5 dislikes are: no 6th gear, no fuel injection, the steering lock location and use, stock fender and tail light, and i guess the turn signals. Otherwise I love it

Haha your right. No fuel gauge sucks

Also, the throttle grip thing, I cut the grip off slowly, sanded and filed it down to the plastic and used wd 40 to slide the new ones on so I was able to make it work, took about 45 minutes to install just one grip lol. The left side was easy

Change your gearing if you're more freeway focused. Running 15-39 sprockets the perfect match. enough pull in low and cruises all day long in 70's no problem.

I'll definitely look into this setup if I ever end up needing to do longer distance rides on the highway

So you mentioned about highway riding. What if you had to ride this 65 miles total round trip roughly between 65-70 mph few times a month. It could handle it no problem right?
Great video by the way, keep them coming.

Yeah, at 65-70mph you should be fine for that amount of time on the highway. Just be careful on windy days, cause the DRZ can get blown around a little with high gusting winds in my opinion.

Can’t wait to get mine. How much was everything out the door when you purchased it?

You will definitely will enjoy the bike when you get it! I don't remember the full OTD price though, because I ended up trading in my previous bike to lower the cost.

R2Rmoto so I ended up just buying the damn thing today. So I’ll just get stuff done to it when the 600 mile service. Any recommendations on what to get?

@@Whatyoutakinbout Most people will recommend doing the 3x3, exhaust, and jetting of the carb. Other than that, I would recommend a comfort seat if you find the stock seat too hard. Also congrats on the purchase!
