Omg same! I love the tin version since it tints lips pink. And I swear it helped lighten and make them pinker or something. Been using it since before Covid
yess i use the the pink bubbly one and its so damn good. i tend to peel at my lips so theyre always bloody and crusty.. and the lip therapy literally heals it overnight.
Yes I don't like the rosy lip personally but the original and the creme brulee are my 👌👌👌👌 favorite

If you are experience a sensation in your throat when you use the Laneige , you are allergic. Try to narrow down what ingredient is causing the allergic reaction because using it, over time you could have an anaphylactic reaction
i have this sensation with the fenty lip oil but only when i am already a little sick and my throat is already sore, would that still be an allergic reaction ? thank you !
It has DHT in it, everyone is "allergic" to DHT its a toxic product esp to be putting on your lips
There's something called vocal cord dysfunction where certain triggers make your throat feel like it's closing up but it's not actually an allergic reaction. So if antihistamines don't work then ask your doctor about that. /thought I was allergic to sunscreen for years
It could be anything from alll the filler ingredients TO THE BHT THEY USE which can be toxic and should not be consumed TO THE FRAGRANCE laniege has some of the longest ingredient lists i've ever seen
Tried both the Laneige and it's dupe Petitfee. Both gave me the most intense alergic reaction, with rash going all the way to my throat. I'm blaming the fragrance, but it could be anything really.
The little shimmy on "every single week" immediately puts me in a better mood. 😊

I quite like the laneige lip sleeping mask, I find that it hydrates my lips in a few minutes when they feel super dry! It's definitely not the best lip treatment for all day hydration but when I noticed that my lips are dry or cracked it adds moisture to them really fast!
try the toboco lip mask! it's a korean brand and pretty much a dupe but better in my opinion!! Comes in glass and is cheaper. I love it. It's definitely for nighttime use though!

Everybody says skincare works differently for different people but I think it is most true with lip balms. I absolutely love Bert’s bees original balm, and hate nearly everything else (the body shop, innersense, chapstick, the list goes on). Great video!
For years, I listened to you about the Laneige lip mask. Big mistake. I received it in a boxy charm box, and I'm glad I did. My lips are the definition of ashy-af... I have an OCD habit that I pick my lips to the point of bleeding, scabbing, and scaring. Add to that my bedroom is overly dry but I can't use a humidifier because I need my purifier running.... my lips be FRIED! So... I used it because I ran out of my Patrick Ta mask and I have never went back. The Laneige lip mask rescues my lips over night and leaves them so much better for the day. I now use it all day. Also, I have an issue where I detest the feeling of anything on my lips... the Laneige mask feeling like nothing. It doesn't stress me out.

couldn‘t agree more! I love you Hyram but it literally states to be a sleeping mask so what do you expect when you apply it during the day, you lick your lips and drink and eat so it removes it! Laneige is the best lip mask I ever used!! luckily I discovered it even before Hyram started talking bad about it😅
I find that the Laneige lip mask works well when it is used overnight as intended!
Its not that good. It may work better than other products but it has harmful ingredients, tests on animals, and there are way better alternatives that don't cost that much.

As a lip balm conaseaur myself, my fav is the Dionis Goat Butter Overnight Lip Mask. It's super thick (which I love) so I don't have to reapply it multiple times and just makes my lips feel great. ❤
Wow! You covered so many! Thank you for this video! I have been using the Cerave Healing Ointment on my lips pretty much every night, and I agree that it is pretty good. My favorite is one that you didn't feature. It's the Paula's Choice peptide lip balm. I usually just use it at night, and I always wake up with my lips nicely moisturized and plump. It seems to somehow bring out the natural shape of my lips too. It is a bit on the pricier side, but it lasts a long time. It might be one to try. In any case, thank you again for trying all these products and telling us about them!
Okay hear me out. Vaseline lip pots. The little tiny Vaseline container looking ones. Literally holy grail for actually hydrating.

For me it gave a disgusting taste in my mouth every time I used it, I had the rose one. Maybe I need to try the original? But it didn’t do much when my lips were super dry
@@rhileynnna ehhhh I have tried multiple flavours of the Vaseline tin and the rose one did give a nice color to my lips, but the scent and taste was too strong. I am currently using the aloe vaseline and I love it cuz I like aloe. But I suggest you just go for the plain neutral one. It's great!! Also petroleum jelly locks in already existing moisture. So first apply a thin layer of a hyaluronic acid serum or cream, and then vaseline, and it's gonna make your lips SO plump and juicy!! Literally gives the botox effect.

💔 so sad that glossier reformulated their balms. The old formula was the best everrrrr and the new formula is pretty much the worst that I’ve ever tried.
I haven’t tried the new formula, but I saw that they have a different applicator, which I was excited about, because I hated the flat top on the old one.

I have chronic dry lips. Tried so many to cure my issue. From angular cheilitis, exfoliative cheilitis aka dry ass chapped lips. My fibromyalgia can cause it to flare up etc ....best luck to my fellow dry ass lips fighters!💪🏽💯

You HAVE to try the Lansinoh Lanolin lip balm. The one in the purple packaging. It is 100% lanolin and SAVED my lips during my Accutane course. It’s way cheaper than Lanolips.
On this team. I think our meds are making it worse.
I think daily lip scrub and coat of Laneige is the best for me.

Paula’s Choice Lip & Body Treatment Balm truly saved my lips!!! I have allergies and breathe through my mouth. Now living in the Midwest, my lips paid for it. This product stopped the peeling that I’ve suffered with for 2 yrs. Like Hyram, I’ve tried SO many other products and nothing else has worked.

My fav lip balms are from French brands (La Roche Posay, Uriage etc). They are thick, but very comfortable on the lips, and so moisturizing

I've been using just plain old Vaseline during the day. At night, I'll put a heavy ointment on my lips. The Etude House Cica Balm has been really nice. Leaves my lips feeling really soft in the morning. I think a lot of brands are a lot of hype with not much delivery.

Well.... Since you have more... I need a part 2! I could listen to you talk about lip balm for days! I've used the Hempz Lips for a long time and it's still there in the morning. I prefer the lanige lip glowy balm over the potted one and Auric Cosmetics has a nice lip treatment!

As a Sephora employee…. My recommendations would be Biossance vegan lip balm and Ole Henriksen peptide lip treatment. These are such great overnight products. I do also have enjoy Glossier (currently on mango scented) it’s very buttery feeling.

Thank you for doing all the research for us, Hyram! Looking forward to trying some of these. I also struggle with cracked/flaky lips and what’s been working pretty well for me is surprisingly curology’s lip balm. I put a nice layer on at night and then cover it with la neige (I agree that la neige isn’t very effective but it’s worked great as a sealer). I wake up and my lips still have a bit of gloss and feel hydrated. I may do a little touch up with Curology lip balm in the morning as I get ready but then I’m pretty set!
Blistex Medex in the blue tub is the only product I feel actually moisturizes and heals my lips. It’s like Vicks for your lips.

For me, it's the Applebutter Lip Mask by Nooni that works the best. I even gifted one to my sister and she also said that it has done wonders for her dry lips.

Naturium Phyto Glow Lip Balm is such a nice experience it comes out in a sticky form but when applied is more of an oil and it’s so light but works so well and LASTS! Love love love it
Fun fact I get better hydration and softer lips from a lip gloss then a balm! The lip gloss is from a small business called Kikiz cosmetics, they have many scents/flavors and when I use the gloss it has fast hydration and even after the gloss comes off my lips still feel so soft and hydrated!!
Iv noticed I prefer lip gloss for hydration during the day and a lip mask before bed

The Etude Ginger Lip Mask is life changing. Wow. Thank you for sharing it with us bc it’s the most moisturizing thing I’ve ever experienced. I have found that while it is sticky, a little goes a long way so you don’t have to feel super sticky. I use it at night :)

I love the tatcha kissu balm. I have had the same pot for over a year as I dont require a ton of product (small lips) so in my opinion, it is well worth the price. It really does moisturize well and makes my lips look so rosy and juicy!
Hurraw moon balm is my fave, nice ingredients and well priced too
O’Keefe’s lip balm is great and heals like no other, and the price point is terrific. It works unbelievably. Please give it a try! 😘
Yes, but I would only choose the one with aloe. Definitely not “cooling” one. Mint is an irritant, not good for the lips.

the Torriden ceramide lip essence is by far my favorite lip balm. its flavor and aroma free with 5 ceramides and i only apply once at night or in the morning and im set rest of the day

You NEEEEEEED to try the L'Occitane Ultra-Rich 10% Shea Butter Nourishing Lip Balm in the STICK version! I get a new one each winter and it helps my lips from being cracked! I swear it’s literally a miracle! Layer it on before bed and I’m set for soft lips in the morning! 🙌🙌

I discovered the Kinship Supermelt Vegan Lip Jelly Mask and absolutely love it. It soothes, hydrates and gives a little shine. It is a bit expensive though.

The Vaseline tin lip moisturizer is a great tried and true. Also I love the Jack Bean SPF lip balm in mint are my go-tos!
You should try the etude ginger sugar essential lip balm! I have not tried it myself but I heard great things about it and that it's a product that can be used more during the day :)
One of my favorites is the Vaseline lip therapy that comes in a little tub and just regular aquaphor, not the lip therapy. Glossier is the best for flavors but don’t be like me and accidentally leave it in the sun 😅 I also have loved original chapstick with the black packaging since I was a kid but it doesn’t stay long at all lol
Omg YESS the one specifically from the tub has worked wonders and it's probably the only lip balm that I have COMPLETELY and I mean completely cleared out😆 like my friends were asking why I was even bringing it around when there was barely anything left. I also use aquaphor on top of my moisturizer and it's SO good
I love the scent of original chapstick. I use primarily when I want to experience the childhood nostalgia. 😊
If you like the Fenty Gloss Bomb, you’ll love the Maybelline Lifter Gloss! It’s half the price and even when the glossiness wears off, my lips feel moisturized and plump.
My son used to have extremely dry lips that would crack and bleed. I started using the Bare Minerals Retinol Lip Mask on him a few years ago and he hasn’t had issues since. It moisturizes and exfoliates ❤
I love the rosebud salve. I use it for lips & cuticles because it’s mostly oils, not petrolatum.

You need to try Eucerin lip repair (the liquid one not the stick). I used to lick my lips so hard I had dry patches even beyond my lips and this product healed it almost overnight !

I recently got the La Roche Posay B5+ lip balm, which really helped my eczema prone lips. But I do also really like Laneige when my lips aren’t flaring!
I haven’t tried the Tatcha Lip Mask. I don’t like the concept of a jar and having to stick my finger in it or find the wand, keeping the wand clean. I did add it to my Sephora cart to try out. I’m always on the lookout for a good lip balm. Thanks for the reviews Hyram.
