- Sacramento Light Rail Trains Compilation throughout the Sacramento County Region on various parts of the Gold Line & Blue Line. Some freight trains also. Both the Bradshaw Rd & Marketplace Ln crossings this month had a signal that was hit and fixed in this video. This month Sacramento Regional Transit has unveiled there new light rail cars now currently being build by Siemen Mobility here in Sacramento and the first set are to be running in service next year. Some projects mainly on the Gold Line are suppose to start with the first one being the Folsom Segment double track projects that I'd on time is supposed to start construction in spring this year and a number of stations on the Gold Line to have their platforms at stations raised to accommodate the new light rail cars. UTDC train cars have returned to service at teh end of this month also.

I act remember that double bridge being only one back in the late 90s as a kid closest one to 50 would be the org one and right was built sometime in 98-99
Yep. The outbound track (right) was the added bridge and track. Same with the Bee Bridge over R St in 2003.

I lived in Sacramento about 20years ago and rode light rail every day to work. Watching this really brings back memories. Question tho. Do you live really close to Folsom Blvd cuz it seems like most of the catches are from the Rancho Cordova area
Thanks for watching! Yeah I live close to the tracks along Folsom Blvd. Also because most of these are filmed when I chase the weekly UP freight that comes down the branch line that runs through Rancho Cordova.

What kind of irritates me is the fact that Sacramento has so many quiet zones... Those trains have normal horns they don't need electronic horns....
