- Sacramento Regional Transit light rail trains compilation I filmed in February 2022. For the second month in a row we went without any rain and also this month had a lot of windy days as you can see one of those windy days at the beginning. I managed to catch one UTDC car train as those were returned to service at the very end of January so February was the first full month they were being used in service. I also got some views near the Richards Blvd crossing here the future Dos Rios Station will be put on the Blue Line also. This time not only did I film with my Sony Handycam FDR-AX700, I filmed a lot of clips with my old phone also my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra which I have now traded in for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra which filmed the last few clips in this video on a test run before the phone updates come to the camera. I also caught an Amtrak Coast Starlight Train with a light rail passing over it which is a rare combination in Sacramento. I also included freight trains in the video and one hidden freight train also.

Are 20th-21st-22nd street abandoned in Sacramento, if so, do they plan to restore the line?
It's out of service since the Sac Bee closed. SACRT still owns the signals. The only was the line comes back in service is if a business purchases the old Sac Bee building and wants to be a rail customer.

They still got a while to go as SACRT will be receiving the new cars in phases which is going to take several years so the Siemens, CAF, and UTDC cars will be running with the brand new Siemens cars until they have enough of the new Siemens cars that they can start scrapping or donating the old Siemens, CAF, and UTDC cars.
@@MobileRailSpotterRxR The CAFs are actually staying along with the S70s
@@Ferreira0504 SACRT announced when they get all Siemens S700's, all Siemens Duewag, CAF, and UTDC cars will be replaced so yes the CAF will be on their way out. Non of the cars can be retired until SACRT reaches the number of new S700 thats enough to retire all the cars so all four cars will be running on the system till the S700s surpass them then they will be retired. The first batch to be retired are the Siemens Duewags and the others will follow.
