Railroad Crossings Of The UP Sacramento Sub In Sacramento County Compilation

- Railroad crossing compilation video of all the Sacramento County region crossings along the Union Pacific Railroad Sacramento Subdivision main line from north to south from various sides as some crossings I filmed on the east side and some on the west side of the tracks. The UP Sac Sub is a former Western Pacific Railroad line and most of its crossings still have some WPRR equipment especially the Griswold and RACO EM Signal crossings that still remain on this line till this day. Although the Sac Sub has low train activity, most trains running on it are BNSF trains as they use it as a main route to get to the Pacific Northwest. There are a few UP trains that normally use this line. Amtrak Coast Starlight uses the section north of D Street. In the past couple of years a crossing was removed on this line which was C Street in Midtown that was removed in late 2019. The first crossing coming from the north in the Sacramento County region is W Elverta Rd but I started it at W Riego Rd because how close proximity it is to the Sacramento airport. The north side of Sacramento is from W Elverta Rd to the Bike Trail. Midtown goes from D St to 21st & Freeport with the joint UPRR/SACRT right of way starting at S St. The south side of Sacramento starts at 26th Ave to Meadowview Rd where the UPRR/SACRT ROW ends. before leaving the county the line runs through Elk Grove and Galt ending at Desmond Road.
All crossings in this video except one is up to date to what the crossings feature with the one crossing being Twin Cities Road which one of its WCH 1st Gen LEDs were replaced with a GE Pixelated Look LED light so at publish this video is 99.9 percent accurate. I decided to skip that update at Twin Cities Rd since it's just a light and went ahead and made this compilation as its already a year late plus because trying to get a train on the Sac Sub out of Midtown is a disadvantage for me as I can't always get out to get a train also the line doesn't have much trains that use it plus when I'm out railfanning the positions and locations are at a disadvantage from where I would be railfanning and would of probably delayed this by months more if I wanted to wait to get Twin Cities Rd again just like the changes at Franklin Blvd and Elverta Rd delayed me while Inwas still trying to film Sims Rd and Desmond Rd which all took a while to film. This would of been a three plus hour video but I cut the videos to prevent that plus my computer wouldn't want to export that in 4k format.

There was a BNSF Manifest that came through Stockton earlier today with an ex-Illinois Central Dash-9 in CN Scheme along with CP 9777 which used to be AWVR 777 from the movie Unstoppable.
this is an excellent compilation. H street is my favorite to watch because of the wch mechanical bell😊🚦
I remember u made another one a few years ago. Its basically a recreation, love it!
Thanks! That one I made four years ago TBH is not a full one as back then I hadn't got every crossing on that video because back then I hadn't filmed Riego Rd, Sims Rd, Core Rd, Point Pleasant Rd, Lambert Rd, Twin Cities Rd, and Desmond Rd so that one is missing those crossings.
@@MobileRailSpotterRxRSo it's a recreation, but with some extras. I love it

The bells on the first crossing go fast. Is It meant to be fast
Mobile what do you use to catch trains on the Sac Sub?
The scanner app and an uniden bearcat scanner.
Great compilation! From watching your videos, this sub used to have a lot more M-bells. It's too bad they all had to go :P
32:37 what kind of bell is that
2 NEG E-Bells & 1 GS Type 2 E-Bell.
踏切の動画を見ていて、なぜ点滅する赤色灯を拡大撮影するのか、今でも全く分からない。
Lights are changed every once in a while and I like to zoom in a show the design brand incase they are replaced.
