You should be in mahakumbh mela in proyagraj
The largest human gathering in the world
Around 400 million people gather there for holi bath
You would meet many aghori, naga sadhu, sanyaasi, sankaracharya, spritual leaders, vaishnav, shaiv, sakta, smarta all kind of hindu gather there
This kumbha is very special and rare as it happening after 144 year
Next mahakumbh will be in 2169

Precious heritage sites should not have been ignored by ASI. It shows the volume of Indian Governments effort to preserve ancient Sites.

Sad to see the temples in such disarray. Wonder how many temples are there.

They don’t even have a road to reach the temple? What a shame!
The carvings are so beautiful! In any other country, they would have showcased these sculptures in a beautiful museum!

These temples can easily be restored. Its like a giant lego or puzzle. Most of the blocks remain but are just scattered around and just need to be arranged back together. Only apathy and lack of funds are the reasons why its hasnt been restored yet.

Government should take good care of this site I mean they should restore this site.

08:02 These Ashapuri Temples were most likely built under the Parmara Dynasty which rules Malwa between 1000 to 1300 ce following the collapse of the Pratihara Empire. The Ashapuri temples, along with most temples across North India, were likely destroyed by the Turkic invaders

17:19 Solanki Dynasty (Chaulukya) was a dynasty that ruled Gujarat between 1000ce to 1300ce following the collapse of the Pratihara Empire. Solankis did not just worship Surya. They were also worshipers of Vishnu, Shiva etc and there were also Solanki Kings that patronised Jainism. Ashapuri is in Malwa and the Solankis nevered ruled Malwa. The Parmaras were ruling Malwa at this time. The architecture is not of the Mauryas or the Guptas. It is Maru Gurjara school of architecture of the Nagara style, specifically the Parmara school of art.

Go south. Explore Madurai (Meenakshi Temple), Tanjore (Raja Raja Chola’s Periyakovil Temple is a world heritage monument), Hampi (Vijayanagaram empire ruins), Mahabalipuram (shore temples from Pallava dynasty and has the worlds largest Monolithic carving of Arjuna’s penance, a world heritage monument), Varkala, Guruvayoor (Krishna temple), Munnar (Tea Estates from British days), etc. Also Ajantha and Ellora caves, Kailasa Temple.

If you are in Ahmedabad by now you should really check out Vallabhi an ancient buddhist university with majors in Business Administration etc site close to Ahmedabad towards North. It never has tourists and is a must visit, not even Gujarati people ik have an idea about this university which is a huge part of their ancestry. I've been living in Ahmedabad for almost 20 years now and I feel so blessed to be a part of a city so rich with vedic history and it's proud examples.

Sorry, you have a little knowledge on Lingam. It's nothing to do with penis. In Sanskrit, Lingam means symbol. Hence, lingam is symbol of Shiva of formless.
The sanskrit word for penis is Sisna... please do your own research...thanks

  • @truthprevailsalways1

Meaning of ling in sanskrit is not peons its form so shiv ling means shiv form just like a flame has not got any shape same way shiv ling is nirakar means no shape

Hi , re Shiva lingam...., not representing human linga!
Ellora , shiva standing within the lingam, similar to Elon Musk space rocket. Milk , represents smoke/steam , from a vehicle of sorts.
Nuclear maybe , and required cooling by water/milk like reactors worldwide near the sea.
Look it up and good luck.
    Jai Shree Krishna 🙏
