Cool video. I have an R3 - I agree with your points, but don't forget lower insurance and cost to buy as an entry into a great 321CC parallel twin, fuel injected sport bike that still turns heads, and it's great fun to ride with the girl on the back 😎
I have a 125 and I've chosen the r3 as my next bike over the r7, exactly because of the power, so to me the power is a pro really, it's just the right amount to perform any task with ease and not having a single cc or hp over that makes the bike lighter which is why it is so good a commuter or in the twisties. Since I am not in any hurry and my xsr 125 gets me places just fine, I figured I'd wait to see what the 2025 model is going to be like. I have identified 2 small weaknesses that Yamaha may or may not rectify with the next model. One is Bluetooth connectivity, I don't like phone mounts and I'd like to get an alert if I'm riding and have my phone tucked away, not a big deal but useful. Second is rather more important and it's adding a slipper clutch to the bike. Overall super excited to be getting one. Stay safe.
I think alot of people forget about the weight difference too. Had a r6 and it was heavy af man. Ball Ache just to push around. R3 Seems like the sweetspot
Dude.. Awesome, very concise and very informative review! Answered all the questions I had before I thought about buying my first time sport bike which is this exact one. I also love you actually did all this recording while riding it so you can actually demonstrate to us lots of things we needed to know. Thanks again. I'm buying one! 👊
You should get full exhaust, aftermarket air filter, and a tune and a R6 throttle tube and you’ll make 45 horsepower and smoother engine breaking after tune. Stock is shitty with 25 horsepower and heavy engines breaking like jerking
My 23 R3 is a street track bike with mwr air filter, velocity stack, full grave exhaust, R6 tube, and tune by 2 wheel dyno. You’ll notice a big difference from stock on street, twisty, track and freeway because of the extra 20 horsepower
Appreciate the video bro in just started my journey and I’ve been contemplating between an r3 and ninja 400 I think im just going to get a 600 bike bikes are expensive and don’t want to buy a 2024 r3 or 400 and get tired of it in a month and have to shell out more money just to get a decent bike
Ive had my cbr300r for 1 month and im already ready to upgrade lol. Its an amazing bike but i want more speed especially after almost getting hit and not having enough pull away speed
One of the bad things for me I don't like on my bike are those lights sticking out which provides great visibility but it looks unattractive to me. #R3
not at all.. i weigh about the same, and I'm 5'9. at the end of the day you need experience riding bikes. i started riding dirt bikes thinking it would be no issue, but its much harder than you think. I would love to ride a sport bike, but at the end of the day bro you can be the best rider on the road and still get killed by someone who is not paying attention. i know i went off topic but my point is that you need to fall in love with what you're doing. if you have had a bike and you know you want to ride. then go for it. other than that, take every route and try everything out before committing to riding.

Wow both of your prayers were answered with the 2025 release
@@seanadams328 Indeed lol, I missed the news but I see it now, I guess I'm waiting for the 25 model!

Glad I could help you make this decision, good luck & ride safe!!😄

@@victyper301 Cool info, considering this for a mid-life Divorce toy lol.
got a 2019 r3 a month ago and have been loving it. yoshi exhaust ftw 😁
Ahhh I need to make a review video on my bike 😭 great video though man!!! 🎉
What bar end sliders are those

Another banger lets go 🙌🙌
What are you seeing in your mirrors?
@@Jazz_1337 I got the whole 360 view😶
@@ZhayreJust you be careful bro, ride safe and have fun… You need all the view you can with cars this day and age. 👌🏻

What exhaust are you using?
what about height? I'm 6'2 and i feel like i would look ridiculous on a r3
i have a friend whos about the same height as you & he says he fits comfortable on it
i’m about 6’1-6’2 on a ninja 300 and im fine, but i have my pegs set further back for comfort
So would you buy an r7? if you could go back and change buying the r3 2 months ago?
Me personally, I’m not a fan of the R7 so I wouldn’t but I don’t think it’s a bad idea for beginners
One of the bad things for me I don't like on my bike are those lights sticking out which provides great visibility but it looks unattractive to me. #R3
lol I don’t ride recklessly while filming himself break multiple laws 😂😂😂😊
Asking where did you learn to speak English is crazy
@@leeroy1101 Til this day I’m still in tears🤣
I’m
175 weight and I fill like im
Small for this bike

My 3 month review is that i’m getting a 2024 cbr600rr in 2 months cause this bike is so fuckin useless
I mean, i have fun with it but, can’t really do shit if you riding in group
Can’t ignore the fact that the bike is slow but it teaches you to respect and even let’s you make mistakes
@@jaylenc32 that’s why i went with it, but it’s seriously underwhelming after 2 months
