Hi thank you so much this video was really helpful. I do have a question though. What do I do with the tail of the new colour if I don't want to add a new row?
Hi there! After you’ve made several chains in the new color you can use your yarn needle to weave the tail into the chain to help secure it. Then you can trim it.
@@remingtonlanecrochet thank you so much
Thank you! This helps a lot 😊
You're welcome! So glad you found it helpful!
Thanks for this! Very clear and helpful ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Super helpful! Thank you!
You're welcome!
I’ve been crocheting for a year and a half and I haven’t learned this till now…
It’s a good little trick to know, but may not be something you need all the time. Glad you found it!
Thankyou so much
You’re welcome!
So then what would I do with the tails it seems like a weak?
It is a little weak when you get started, so just pull them a little tighter than usual. And then once you get the first row worked back into them, they typically stay put. And after a few more rows you can weave them into your project.
I have a question, im making a green and white peppermint scarf for my husband and im wondering once i finish two sets of colors, how do i switch back to the other yarn i used?
Hmmm that’s a great question. I would refer to the pattern notes to see if it has any directions that can help. Without seeing it, you might have to join the other yarn separately at the end - by using a slip stitch or tying a knot to join it to the scarf.
how do i get rid of the tail from changing to the new color?
After you get to the next row you can just weave in the tail from the new color.
I'd like to be helpful by pointing out I cannot hear your audio on my laptop - it is very faint with my volume turned way up.. I don't know if you can fix it but it might be why you don't have more subscribers. I will have to look for another video because I can't hear you. 😒
Yes, I had my volume at max, and had to strain a bit to hear her soft voice.
Great video, though - exactly what I was looking for to make my foundation chain for a Tapestry crochet afghan. ❤
