My father in law had a VRod and it was FUN! Clearview Shields makes New Replacement windscreen options that bolt to the factory HD brackets for your Harley Davidson V-Rod.
@Kyle Bradshaw hi imn pretty new to motorcycling all I can tell you if it helps is that its the stock set up from factory and imn 5ft 11. Sorry if this isn't much help
Thanks for your comment. While there are several windscreens for the 950 Super Enduro, this was just a discussion about 5 things to consider, and was not bike specific. I have attempted to run two different shields on the 950, and did not like either. One of them was: Puig Naked New Generation Windscreen KTM 950 Supermoto / Super Enduro R
Can a windshield be dangerous? I've noticed on some mopeds that the angle looks like it would go right into chest or neck if a collision happens. Any thoughts on that? Thx
Well, if you get into a crash... the handlebars, mirrors, footepegs, etc are all dangerous weapons too. I have gone through one motorcycle windshield (Honda Goldwing) and have been stopped from going over the bars by a BMW R1200GSA windshield. Pick your poison eh?
Hello Kyle, Thanks for all your great content. I am looking to put a windshield/deflector on my 2015 Harley Davidson Street 500 but I still want to keep my cowl. What would be some good ones either from National Cycle or Memphis Shades that would work? Thank you!
What windshield style and.make would you recommend for a VRod 2013? I do not.want a tall one though

Hi Kyle what would you recommend for a Truimph Trident 660.
A few reviews I've read indicate the Dart screens aren't big enough .

Good question. It really depends on the seat and handlebars. That would allow me to answer more completely.

What seat is that? I like the recessed channel for the perineal nerves / tailbone area.
It is a Saddlemen Seat and it works GREAT!
@@manybikes Cool. Thank you.
While this is a nicely comprehensive discussion about windshields, what happened to fitting a windscreen for the KTM at the beginning?

Ha! Ha! Right!?
Great video, may I ask what you think about the Dart Marlin Flyscreen? I’m considering that for my Scout. Please let me know?
I actually really like the flyscreen. Takes the pressure off my chest. Just enough...
