Hi, im 5"10 (180cm), and drive a honda Shadow 2004 ace with normal seat. I have Short torso with long legs. Will a 41cm / 16 inch windshield fit? Or am i having a lot of buffeting then?
I own my first HD a 1994 heritage softail classic. I want to add a windshield the bladeswitch one can you point me to the right direction this bike have aux foglights with not windshield mounting on the forks yet Thanks
I enjoy your videos. I saw a biker who had a factory style windshield on his metric cruiser but he added small wing type shields to the bottom of his windscreen to reduce the turbulence that affects some bikes. I have a 06 Suzuki boulevard c50t with a factory windshield but also feel a lot of turbulence behind the windshield. Any help? I do not know where he found the wing style add on.
I'm considering changing the windshield on my '99 FLHTCUI for something a little shorter. How do I measure my current one? Is it the overall length that I measure?
Hello my friend. I'm 6.0ft. What is the ideal windshield size you suggest? I have a Street Glide 2013. Do you suggest a specific model that you think is better?
i have a 1980 hardtail with after market wide glide front forks &run short apes , front end has threads on sides for covers or windsheild mounts , what do you suggest for front fairing/ windsheild
+larry medvrich That really depends on the look you are going for, and if you want it to be able to be quickly removed. Without knowing these things, I can't really make an absolute suggestion. That being said, on a hardtail, I would imagine you are going minimalist, so I would suggest something like J&P part number 750-343www.jpcycles.com/product/750-343I hope that helps.
J&P Cycles I really don't understand why I cannot find 1 single video on motorcycle windshields that talks about the correct sizing for your particular motorcycle regarding the fork size or width. Not every motorcycle is the same of course and neither are the fork sizes. My particular windshield absolutely will not fit any of my neighbors motorcycles. Has nothing to do with headlight diameter or height issues. Strictly the fork width spacing on the mounting bracket. You must measure the fork width spacing to make sure a particular windshield that you want to fit. They are NOT universal like all these videos would seem to indicate. No one seems to address this.
I could never find a good windshield for my BMW R1200R 2011. The best one is the original BMW SPORT one: a very small one indeed, that at least doesn't disturb the line of my bike!

This OG is the real deal. I bet he once knocked Marlan Brando off his Triumph and took his trophy.
