  • Hey everyone welcome to another Fallout 76 2023 video. In this video, we are going to talk about 6 unwritten rules that you might be breaking in Fallout 76.
    This video is designed to talk about some of the Fallout 76 etiquettes that some players break. Like I say in this video my idea of this video is not to tell you how to play the game, however in fallout 76 2023 some people do these small annoying things that cause players problems like at the Fallout 76 players vendors or at the Fallout 76 radiation rumble event.
    The idea of this video is to help make yourself a better player for the Fallout 76 community.
    If you have found this video interesting then please check out my other Fallout 76 playlists on the channel page

    Do NOT place a rad scrubber arch in the door way to enter/exit your camp. There are many players with high rad builds. Personally I have mine in the back of my camp on a switch to turn it on/off.

      Or at least place a barrel or asteroid at the exterior of the camp. Also, do not place the CAMP very high: the fast travel is so badly implemented that most of the time the players fall and die without fall damage reduction, bird bones, serendipity etc.

    • @alphabet2238

      @@JohnDoe-xk2sj High up camps are sometimes the best. Granted you have a lack of fresh water usually if you don't have the vintage water cooler. Apart from that though as long you place your camp point correctly and test it by fast travelling multiple times players spawning there should be alright. That's coming from someone who almost exclusively builds bases in high ground areas. Plus you rarely have enemies spawn plus the view.

    Similar to the encrypted event, it is generally a good idea to let the player who launched the SBQ nuke engage before dumping on her yourself. Especially if there is a double mutation event going on and the majority of a server is finishing up a jamboree or other premium event before teleporting in. It is likewise considered fair play to nuke fissure site prime in such a way as to avoid including the nearby bunker in the blast radius so that other players who are not power armor wearers can participate.

    Rad rumble spawns more and bigger, legendary, critters if you gather the ore which is more xp. if 2-3 people go gather it takes only a cpl min to max then do xp. works out better for everyone

    • @ClyFaker
      @ClyFaker Рік тому +7

      This is the way. I honestly stopped doing RR because I was the only one grabbing ore. More ore = bigger mobs = more XP and legendary loot. Added bonus, there are rare rewards for the event that can resell for decent caps. Not so much the rad barrel after it got added to mutated packages, but the hazmat suit still sells well in my experience.

    • @user-tn8ci6wg5k
      @user-tn8ci6wg5k Рік тому +1

      It only takes one person to collect enough ore to finish the event. Collect enough ore to trigger the wave, stay up top to tag the legendaries, or zap everything with your Tesla, and go again. If you have more than one person collecting the ore, don't shove it all in at once, or all the critters will stay down the ramps fighting each other to death. Do it in waves.
      I've collected about 10 rad barrel plans from the event, and they were all collected when finishing to level 4 and keeping all 4 workers alive.

      The amount of time there are 10+ PA builds at RR who ALL refuse to go collect ore is frustrating. I don't even carry PA,(full SS Unyielding)so if I'm dropping all my armor to put on a rad suit, losing all my bloodied perks so I don't die to rads, and supressing my mutations, just in order to go do what you could do without having to lose ANY of your armor buffs or regain rads, or decrease your DPS, or need to re-equip anything afterwards, you're not doing your job imo.
      Also, we don't need 12 of you shooting ghouls at One Violent Night. Everyone wants to be the guy shooting instead of the guy playing an instrument.
      When there are 10+ players there and I'm the only one playing an instrument, you're turning what should be a 3 min event into a 10 minute one.

    My two cents here: there are shovel spawns inside the house... there are 3 to be exact plus the 2 outside.... sometimes you dont find any, so you can head to the Flatwoods church (graveyard behind it) or to the Dolly Sods Wilderness in the mire (look outside the main house where the scout bot is located)... by the entrance to the left you will have another shovel... but I agree... use the shovel and then drop it... so someone else can pick it up, use it and drop it... Never have don the Nukashine thing.. I hate that beverage... I prefer the sugar free as you dont pass out... as it can teleport people to bad places and make them lose their junk items... please dont do that man... it is better to share other type of alcohol that cn actually help. In regards to Rad Rumble and other Public Events like Uranium Fever and Moonshine Jamboree is to avoid hogging all the xp for yourself with explosives in general... use teslas, flamers, etc... to help keep under control the enemies and the flamer guys shall have the firendly fire card on to heal the npcs to get max xp and rewards... also the PA armor guys should help going down the mine to grab ore to get the 4/4 rewards.. ti is worthy... in regards to timing, you are 100% correct... wait until the last minute to start the event to give ppl time to get into the event. Finally on the Enciptid event you are 100% right ... it also serves as a XP farm (not as good as the Rad Rumble event) due to the amount of bots that show up to the event.

    I have one rule. If you go to an event and don't work to the best of your ability to pass you should hang your head in shame. RR should never fail. It's easy to pass with 2 players if one has healing hands and the other gathers ore. Nothing upsets me more than failing RR cause everyone just there to tag. That's leaving 2-3 levels on the table to start.

I can easily burn through 60 radaways since RadX nulls my mutations and there are times that I get enough ore and I just want to force a failure because no one else is even trying to collect ore or protect the scavengers. Personally I think Rad Rumble should fail in 60 seconds if nothing goes into the pot to reach a 1/4 requirement

    DAILY OPS - Team leader starts the event. If it takes a while to fill the team, the team leader may have started to do something else and be in the middle of that. Just because you've FINALLY joined the Daily Ops team, doesn't mean the team leader is going to jump right in, give it a few minutes. If you're that excited to join the Daily Ops, start your own team.
    Also, in Rad Rumble, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE hold on to the ore until the last minute. Can't tell you how many times someone else has dropped ore while I was in a tunnel and got smacked down by a death claw or snallygaster spawning in right behind me. A lot of people still play on older consoles, which means the enemy is killing me before they've even spawned in for me. If everyone drops ore at the same time, all of the spawns happen at the same time, which can be a real blast!

  • @xangiexdx
    @xangiexdx Рік тому +1

    Your first tip doesn't work. The shovel, if dropped, will despawn after around 10 minutes, or sooner if the player who dropped it leaves the server.
    Personally, I keep the Cursed Shovel that you get from Earle on me at all times.
    2 guaranteed shovel spawns are: 1: at the side of Flatwoods Church where the Silt Beans are planted. 2: from the Morgantown Station spawn point, keep to the left of the fence of the airport, past the veggie patch, you'll see a small graveyard above with a Settler or other NPC near. Shovel spawns there 😎

    @mfree80286 Рік тому +2

    Got a couple of my own to add....
    1 - Radiation Rumble: Someone MUST go get some ore, even a little, or the event will fail. Also, it's good for someone to equip Friendly Fire and boost the NPC's health if it start to founder. Same goes for Test Your Mettle and the BOS NPCs.
    2 - in Daily Operations where the mobs aren't perceptive, especially in the Decryption events... stay together *roughly* but don't crowd your stealth players if you aren't one as well. You'll guide mobs right to them and take away any stealth bonuses they may have been using. Let them sit back and pick things off you, they might save your hide.
    3 - If it's a dogpile battle and there are low level players in it doing well, downgrade your weapon a little bit so you don't one-shot things. Let them eat too. I keep a handmade with me specifically for low level pickoffs and intentionally doing lesser damage in pileups.
    4 - spamming explosives in the middle of an event is almost always bad form. Not only are you disturbing everyone who didn't turn off screen shake (and killing FPS), if you're using thrown explosives you're making false targets for the VATS users.
    5 - don't be afraid to VATS up and clean the field after events where frogs run wild. There are probably 'land mines' everywhere and you could save someone's feet with a minute of VATS'ing and cheap rifle fire.

      I have a nuka launcher that I use on Radiation Rumble, Eviction Notice, and Moonshine Jamboree, especially when they have the reflective mutation, but other times also. I agree that fatman is an issue due to frame rate drops, but I try to avoid launching so many that it causes a similar issue with my grenade launcher. But also, screw all of you that give me $hit for using the launcher. I don't have a build that one shot kills things the way so many higher level players do and I don't want to run the game that way either. I started using the launcher with reflective, and noticed that I got a goodly amount of xp by damaging several enemies with grenades vs. what I was getting previously when I was taking out one baddie in the amount of time it took some players to kill 5. I agree that killing everything before others get a chance to tag them for XP is a dick move....no matter how you do it...fatman, grenade, bloodied builds, people with amzing versions of the fixer. I don't have an optimized build, I have a build I enjoy with a headcannon that defines my choices...I don't use mutations, I don't eat food from the wasteland (except pumpkin pie), I don't use chems, or vats....and thus I don't do the kind of damage some players can do. The nuka launcher lets me get XP at events that can easily be dominated by min-max meta builds and frankly I should be able to. I shouldn't have to have one of the 3-4 main types of builds to get a mountain of experience at these events like the "cool" kids do.

    Haven't played in a while, and I haven't been to any of those events yet, so it's handy to know those things.
    First time I built a camp, I placed a bench with 'afk' letters behind it XD mainly because I have to bio-break a lot. So I'd sit there rather than just stand around and have people think I was ignoring them.
    For me, one of my rules (in any multiplayer game) is 'don't just try to party me. I don't know you, you don't know me, and I'm often having a bad day'
    I don't want to spoil your day by being a glum, and at the sane time, I'm one of those odd types that goes their own way.
    I was the wierdo with the bow, getting mowed down by much higher level critters, because I was having fun (even tho I was basically kibble on legs XD, and whatever spawned just keeps chewing on my legs lmao)
    I sometimes don't mind folks offering to party, but most of the time I'm there to get my head out if whatever crappy issue made me mad that day.
    So, if I don't instantly accept, or push the ignore button, its me rather than you. Same goes if I just vanish. I'm probably having a really bad day then, so I'll just delta and ether find another server (in games where I can do that) or play something else. Don't feel bad, its just how I am, and its not other people's fault (at least, not people in the games....its likely some IRL gonk that burned my bacon that day.

I always stay at the bottom of the center platform facing the entrance and use either The Fixer or a Tesla Rifle to get some hits in so I can get XP when someone else kills them. Not that hard to do, folks.
