Jim and Cindy get a cabana at the beach club and catch Brenda making out with Dylan! #BeverlyHills90210 | Now streaming on Paramount+ Where to watch: para.mt/90210
That's weird when you think about it. I just found out David Gail passed earlier this year. He played Stuart and was only 58. I'm trying to think who else has passed besides Nat?
....Oh, you.....ha-HAAA!! ....I was DYING to make a crack about Jim's 'couture' (and those shorts), but decided to stay neutral.....yet, YOU get ALL the 'likes'! ...ha-HAAA!
more comfortingly, spoken English is crystal clear to me (for a non native listener). May be it's just because of the dubbing... It feels like all cast speak all the lines in a studio
R.I.P. Shannon Doherty. I knew this day was coming but still so sad to hear the news as a lifelong fan. She can be very proud of her work and how bravely and how long she battled her cancer for. She was inspirational staying active and doing her podcast until only a few days before she passed. Her work will live on though as the original 90210 defined a generation and hopefully will still be enjoyed by future generations.
What teenager wouldn't sneak around to see the guy they love, and was forbidden to see, behind their parent's back....? I know I would. And Jim would have too. He's such a control freak! Oh, and I like his shirt... LOL 😂
I snuck out one night to be with my boyfriend at 15 and my mom called the cops. The cop picked me up from his house. I bet cops wouldn’t do that now of days.
The Mexico thing really pushed him too far. what he probably should’ve said was you you guys needed to cool off for the summer then will re-examine this after that
@@zt1053It wouldn't have mattered. He was treating Brenda like a baby. Jim's parenting was so old school, but I guess as far as the show goes, it was very fitting for that period in time.
2:48 Brandon's like "Oh 💩, Dylan's here" 3:32 Cindy's like "WTF! BRENDA'S WITH DYLAN AGAIN" 4:03 Jim be like "OH HELL NO" 4:09 Jim's like "That's it, I'm gonna get you Dylan"
Lol Jim was usually all talk, but things got heated at the wedding anniversary and Dylan told Jim to take a shot. I remember seeing the preview for that episode for weeks and couldn't wait to watch it. I had my VCR set!!😂
Jim and Cindy are really naive. Brenda has been going out every day for two months: how could they believe she wouldn't take the opportunity to see Dylan lol?
The golden years of the show ❤ seasons 1-4 were the best on every level: plot line, writing, total look of the show. Season 5 a catastrophe. Season 6 better. And every season after that should have not been produced. Aaron Spelling just didn't want to pull the plug. Didn't even watched seasons 9-10. Without Shannen - SO BAD!
It feels like just watched this episode yesterday, also I remember (don't know which season or episode) Brenda listened to 'losing my religion' all day after she broke up with Dylan
...WELL, say goodbye to THAT, because it was THAT Song, that torpedoed all the ORIGINAL Music cleared for the Series, and they had to excise the ENTIRE scene (on the DVD's)....
I didn’t remember the song but i remember her brother asking her why she kept replying the same song over and over. She said once when she had a big fight with Dylan that song was playing and she felt her world crumbling but later they got back together. And now she wishes she felt like that because even though she felt horrible it was nothing compared to how she felt now knowing it was really really over.
....does ANYONE remember the days where you had to FIND someone to warn them about about your Parents arriving at your 'secret' destination!??? ....NO cellphones in 1992, Kids! (4:02) ...ha-HAAA!! ....poor Bren.....
But also you had more privacy then and you weren't being tracked. You could be gone all day and come home at dark like no big deal. Now people feel like they have to call or text every hour or if your messenger light is on and you don't respond to someone's message immediately they freak out and think you're up to something. Nope, just ignoring you. I have better things to do.😅
I Hated the way Brenda’s parents treated her like an infant. And what was up with Jim he acted jealous . And even when Brenda dated other guys after graduation and on her way to college her parents still were annoying and over bearing. but only with her.
This brings back soooo many of my teenage memories. Like when my very conservative parents caught me holding hands with a guy, when I was not allowed to date. Oh the horror :-) The scene that followed was very similar to the one of Brenda and her parents, exept mine happened at home. No beach club cabana scenerie Ha Ha.
I was 13 when the show started in 1990. It was my guide to my teenage years. They were a few years older than me, but looking back I went through similar situations in life like they did, just more of a lower-middle class version. They got Corvettes, Mustangs, BMWs, and Porsches for their first cars and I got Grandpa's '85 Ford Escort.😂😂😂
No one on the beach weighs more than 110 pounds. How self confident Jason Priestly was! It is really remarkable. Considering that he’s as tall as a pincher standing on its hind legs. 😂
nope. if you look at them, Brenda looks like Jim - darker hair than Brandon just like Jim has darker hair than Cindy, a more oval face and dark eyes; and Brandon looks like Cindy: the hair, the more square jaw line, the eyes. so they are actually brilliantly cast.
I still can’t believe that Jim and Cindy would think their teenage daughter would rather spend a day at the beach with them in their cabana than her friends.
😂😂😂 I think it’s probably because Dylan is a recovering alcoholic bad boy with a father in prison and no adult supervision. Brenda was his daughter and he knew Dylan wasn’t right for her.
First of all forbidding a teenager from seeing her boyfriend is ill advised. Second of all your better off doing short term groundings. I can see why Jim and Cindy were upset about going off to Mexico. They should have just told Brenda she couldn’t see Dylan for a couple of weeks
it's pathetic of Jim not letting her go to Mexico just because he accidentally fell asleep and it's pathetic of Cindy not having guts to not let Jim determine everything in the family
I had a feeling prior to the season, Brenda thought about going somewhere else. She couldn't go to Donna's because of her parents fighting, she didn't know which one was safer. Kelly had David and Mel moving in and with getting ready for the new baby, that was a big no. She couldn't go to Andrea's, it was too small
Here are some reasons: 1- Brenda had a pregnancy scare 2-Brenda and Dylan got stuck in Mexico after she lied to her parents about her whereabouts. The parents had to go to the police station or the Mexican border to pick Brenda up. 3- Dylan's father had shady dealings, and Brenda's father did not feel comfortable with that. Later, Dylan's father dies due to a bomb planted in his car. This was related to his shady dealings. 4- Brenda's father didn't get along with Dylan.
How could cindy say that she was worried about brenda wjen it was jim.and her who didnt her to.see dylan and brenda waa moserable forcingnthem to split up.
If I call you mean they didn't use drugs or put their kids through unnecessary social pressure and torture than yes they were cool. But in this thing they are pretty naive to think their daughter is not going to continue to see her boyfriend that is part of the only friend group she has and goes to the same Beach Club that they all go to😂
Looking back all these years later, Brenda was such an entitled brat. I can understand why she was the villain of the show and was so disliked by fans. She snuck off to Mexico, was still seeing Dylan when she wasn’t allowed, and even went and stayed with him. After all that her parents rewarded her and sent her on a trip to Paris for the Summer!!!
She wasn't disliked by the fans at all. She wasn't a villain either. Her behavior was obnoxious but so was Kelly afterward. The show changed Kelly to try and be the new Brenda and it was the biggest mistake ever. In fact all of them were obnoxious including Dylan.
@@tagapril42 Yes. I know they all were. But fans of the show would call her “Brenda B****.” She was the most popular one on the show, at least in my opinion. She got a reaction out of the viewers.
I am curious as to how old you are? I am 46 and was a teenager when this show was on and Brenda was not a villain and certainly wasn't disliked by fans. She was the most popular of the four girls.
I rather have Antonia Marchette in earlier Seasons of Beverly Hills, 90210 then Season 6, where Antonia was in Season 3, were she meet Dylan sooner at the beach, yeah I wasn't a big fan of Dyan with Brenda or Kelly I was a team Dylan and Antonia
Rip Brenda and Dylan together again in heaven
Exactly 💯
I never would have guessed that Cindy and Jim would outlive Brenda and Dylan. Sad that they are both gone. May they rest well.
That's weird when you think about it. I just found out David Gail passed earlier this year. He played Stuart and was only 58. I'm trying to think who else has passed besides Nat?

So sad but you are right 💔
I was thinking the exact same thing. so sad
Frigging devastating.
I remembered this episode so vividly and the beach scenes. I loved Brenda & Dylan together
The beach episodes are still some of my favorite ones.
What’s more disturbing: Brenda with Dylan or Jim’s choice of shirt!
I could see kid cudi or whoever rocking that to pieces don't hate lol

Those were the days lol
Love love love Brenda's silk pjs in the beginning of this!!
With those prison stripes!

Cindy's outfit looks like it came straight out of the Sears catalog!
😂
I bet it did! 😅
Lol I could see Jim and Cindy in those outfits posing in the 1992 Sears catalog.
Haha Jim was so tight with money. He moves out to Beverly Hills and still orders his clothes from Sears instead of shopping on Rodeo Drive.
I think they tried to make the parents look so square.
What teenager wouldn't sneak around to see the guy they love, and was forbidden to see, behind their parent's back....? I know I would. And Jim would have too. He's such a control freak!

Thank GOD I was never forbidden to see my first love, because NOTHING would have kept me away. I totally agree with Brenda here!

It's makes no sense they could recognize them with such a far distance, especially not when they turn around like that.
It makes no sense that there’s no white fenced area from their view and they can see Brenda and Dylan making out in front of a white fence.
Although to be honest they probably were not having their cell phones on them in the shower anyway but I get your point
