I totally agree I just wish he would make something different for dinner once in awhile. Maybe make fish raps for lunch and throw the head and carcass in a pot for some fish soup with rice for dinner. Or something else ya know.

Man, I've been wanting to move to Australia for so long because of this style of fishing. Island hopping with GTs, tuna, kings, queens, grouper all possible is insane to me. I'm so jealous man, thanks for documenting these trips for us

Hello from Utah! Another Great Gido Adventure! I've often wondered how you keep hydrated (i.e., pack, filter, desalinate, etc) on your multi-day trips. I noticed you packed in water on this adventure. Do you always pack in your H2O? One of the main themes of your adventures is catching dinner. It might be nice to see how you keep hydrated to metabolize that meal in one of your future videos. A small desalinization option would be perfect for many of your adventures. U no I wonder why it is we fish from land and cast as far out as we can, then we fish from boat and cast as far as back to shore, where strange creatures. Fishing from the bank can be as exciting and successful as in a boat. Given a boat helps, But GIDO has shown us all that fishing from the bank can put fish in the pan, and even trophy size fish also. Awesome adventures, great to see you expanding the range of fishing past the cliffs near home. Also enjoyed seeing you eat a Mack Tuna, I caught one a few days ago and tried eating some or first time (sashimi and seared). Definitely Ok table-fare if its been a tough day, but wont be targeting them for a feed anytime soon. Keep em coming!

Try some magnesium for the cramps and try some stretching before u hit the water. Specially if your body tells u r not well. We all have limits.
Water is warmer now due to world heat increase. That's why the turtle got it wrong.

Question: what is your thinking when you have not eaten, you catch a big GT, and you release it? Like with that cod, there is some risk taking yes? That you might go to sleep with wrap and salad (with spicy sauce)?
GT arnt very good for eating. Probably could have kept a queen fish for a feed but I was going to head back in to the ramp late that day anyways so I waited for something better or just eat the jatz crackers I had

It actually is turtle nesting time that’s a leatherback turtle. I’m from Grenada where we do a lot on turtles and the season starts from July through to October😊
I used to use zinc on my face and ears when I rode on trail rides. Because most of them were at least 8 hours long or more.

even here in so cal all tunas are wanting small baits, like even 10-20 gram jigs for 30-50lbs tuna
