“Bush Telly” is just too cool. Love it.
Ex-SAf and current NZ, first time I heard it, good naming.
Camp TV here in the UK. Never get bored of repeats.
Spaniards are bloody hard to fillet, really nobbly backbone. Steaks are the way to go. Love those Sturt’s Desert Peas, we don’t get em over here in Queensland to my knowledge. Awesome series mate. 😎
It’s hard to quite when you’re having a great fishing day! Time to feast! Thank you for the escape!
Love that you fish not just for sport but for survival and feeding the fam!!! True fishing right there!!!! Love the vids man
That’s how it should be
Been sick as a dog with covid for 3 weeks now Gido. Still not out of the woods but your vids sure do help. You rock mate...
Are U vaxed?
Ivm really helped my fam.
@@aussiebradd guaranteed is vaxxed
Vlog city . with what one tho ?
@@aussiebradd all of them
Finally a steak portion fish, best and smartest way to cook a big fish anywhere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Maybe some flour to light coat the stake after seasoned to a second later dropped on a hoy oily pan 😍
Great clip as always!!
the real surviving. You are the real deal, not those one faking everything! bravo
He brought everything but fish. How is that real “survival” to you? 🤔. He has water, shelter, tons of fishing tackle, knives seasonings, utensils, Hell, he even has TV! 😉😂
@@fishhunt9874 humans dominant trait is intelligence we use tools to survive not our teeth and claws.
Of course he brought tools.
I’m sure he could do the same thing with a bamboo pole and a rusty hook.
Not as much enjoyment for him in that.
The amount of fish he catches could feed him for 10 days almost everyday of fishing.

Gido was not on a survival mission in this video. My message was tongue in cheek as you should have gathered by the two attached emojis. Thank you also for explaining to me how we survive by using our superior intelligence, I learned something from that as I sit with my laptop typing away having a discussion with an unknown to me someone in another part of the world regarding a video posted by another unknown to either of us someone in again, another part of the world. I have 59yrs behind me and have been comfortably retired for 3yrs. I used my limited intelligence to retire quite comfortably much sooner than most. Cheers 🍻
@@fishhunt9874 if you had any intelligence you would have been retired before 40 and be doing what you wanted to do for the last 20 years
@@vlogcity1111
I do not understand the personal attack? Is that a sign of superior intelligence, or the more basic fight or flight reaction? Please go back and reread everything. Your personal attack is very telling, take a deep breath and relax. I am very comfortably retired and will not waste anymore time with this puzzling to me discussion. I wish you peace. 🙏
Love the videos! They’re just not long enough! Lol. I could watch that scenery all day. You live in a beautiful country!
Awesome stuff mate, what a beautiful spot and a crazy first mission on the Yak! Epic fishing and catch and cooks too of course, yeww to future adventures 👏🏝🙌 🎣🤙
Those were some thick steaks there gido😋 wish I could get teleported there and fish a couple of days with you😁 that pace is epic.. I was just thinking.. Can you maybe show us how you catch your crabs for bait next time you out on the rocks somewhere please bro👍
Keep up the good videos. Don't forget rule number 1. Never turn your back on the ocean!. Keep safe.
🤘🥰🤘...... Thanks Mr. Gido !! Livin the Dream !! Jealous Much. 🤗 Be Safe Mr. Gido. Better have told someone where your at. I appreciate your videos to much to have you come up missing!!! 🔥 and ⭐'s........ perfect combination !!
Well I was gutted when you bought a boat because I thought just another kayak fishing channel now. You proved me wrong. That was epic. Much respect.
I love landbased too much. Will enjoy fishing from the kayak now and again thou
Holy Mackerel !!!!, that's a beautiful fish! Thanks 👍
"Obviously ima cast at them and see what they are"
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 such a boss
So entertained to watch. I've been waiting for your new videos. Thanks for sharing your epic fishing and camping experiences.
I am so sorry about what's going on in your country right now. I hope and pray that you and your people will fight back or you will lose all of your freedom
Always great watching you fishing 🎣 💯👍
Been absent for a spell what a fantastic video to return for.Great content as usual and what a beautiful piece of real-estate for your fishing pleasure
Superb video Gido. Your drone footage of the walk back with the Mackie is out of this world. Great job and thanks.
You know shits getting real when Gido's got shoes on, soz for being late been hectic week at work. What a sick episode. All hail Gido our hero, we love you. 🤙
A lot of people in the US call the campfire "cowboy TV" so pretty much the same thing. Nice Mackie and great timing to seal the deal for dinner.
Super cool adventure camping huge fish catching excellent work
I'm so sorry to hear your country has gone absolutely tyrannical. Love the fishing bro! Great vids! At least you're able to leave your house and still go fishing!
cave man T.V. ,that low gentle flicker of a million years dreaming our souls up under the stars. you have lived, you have embraced alone, mortality, and the balance of experiences and the risk it takes. you get it, what life is for. stay you.
Hello from the East coast USA. You my friend are truly living a dream. Love the kayak adventure!
Easily my fav fishing channel. Great stuff bro...
Brilliant vid mate, looking 4 ward to the net one, all the best, and stay safe
What a feeling when you're guaranteed a fish(or a shark) with every cast! Love your vids!!!
Great content as usual.
I look forward to your videos. Superbly done they are too. You've also spurred me on to get a sail for my kayak.
Really nice Mackie for dinner and what a surprise 👍really good day of fishing off the rocks and yeah lovin this journey👍❤🐟🤙🤙🤙Yewwwww
Sensational 😁🤙 Gotta be happy with days like these, aye! The sound of that Mackerel cooking on the cozy fire is one of the real joys of camping 😎
Your vids are like sunshine on a cloudy day. Cheers bloke
This series is the best lunch-time getaway ever. 🤙
Incredible trip along with some great fishing. Thanks for providing another start to a great day. Looking forward to seeing you pulling in a big one while trolling from the kayak.
Good my man you can’t be doing this, I need my sleep 😂😂😂
In 20 mins 😂👌🏼
Nice Ono. I'd be stoked to catch one of those from shore. Blackened Ono is really good. You just sear the outside and leave the inside raw.
Another epic video mate, you’ve put in the hard yards to put out this content, it’s very much appreciated.
Keep it up, can’t wait to see the next episode. 👍🏽
Another successful fishing days! Congrats Gido. More, more, more vlogs😊!!!
I started liking my lips when i saw you cutting those steaks, then strait to the fire😅 thank you vary much, its always a pleasure to watch 😊
Good job mate...I was taken deep in as if I was there. I was flying with the drone with my headphones on to the music
What a cool trip, all your videos and editing are top notch. But this really feels like a man out surviving on his wits and skills to make it a good time. Good fishing and safe travels to GIDO. 👍🎥🏆
Awesome fishing!
Thank you for taking time to film and edit your trip. Awesome.
Another great adventure sir watching from Philippines. Fish on!!!
Watching from Auckland NZ, we in level 4 lockdown but government just said we can go fishing at your 'nearest local spot'.. so watching this while I'm gearing up to go out tomorrow morning from the central city basically equivalent of fishing under sydney harbor bridge 😂 but always watch your vids before I go fishing, love your stuff mate.. gets me through lockdown chur
Enjoy the fishing regardless I guess 👍🏼
Nice fish and love the content man! Here in south Louisiana we call those king mackerel. Spanish mackerel are much smaller and have orange like spots on them with a blueish green stripe on the top from head to tail. Again love content and tight lines bud!
...awesome, a cold beer would fit . Or maybe two.
🍺🍺
My bad. Thanks for dropping another video. Love your adventure fishing and appreciate all the editing hard work.
Great spot G. The Hobie’s running good, better with the daggerboard down eh, haha. It’s bush telly here in NZ too. Keep up the good work.
Another Banger of Video as I survive my lockdown weekend living through your camera awesome 👏
The cost of lost lures must be a thing. I reckon you could hook up in those waters with some hooks tied to a spoon, or piece of tin can.
What a good video love the way you try to work out what you have caught, that Mack would feed an army, those rocks look dangerous and it would be sore to land on them epic session. There is nothing better sitting watching a camp fire at night
Best thing on the telly!!!!
The quality of fish that you catch are just mind blowing!!!! Maybe someday I can get to fish where you are fishing. Good video!!!!
Looks like you have the new drone up and running quite well from shore, excellent footage 👍 yesireebob
Good catches bro 👍👍
Great vid and series. Your vids just keep getting better.
Some seriously amazing country and superb fishing, pity about the bloody Noah's, the buggers always find a way to help themselves to a free feed. As always mate, tight lines and stay safe.
You delivered a killer episode.
One thing for sure when you fish a New area most of the time you gonna hit something big so sad when a shark starts chasing great video Gido 👍🤙👌😎🇬🇺😏😉🤗
Another awesome video top stuff gido
I am Adding a comment to help the channel . love the content man! Great stuff.
Thanks
Epic session mate😍
just a little more rod.... love it
It's because of you i decided to continue my life. Thank you
yow wassup keep your chin up old mate! Cheers friend from Sydney
Ah the north west, take plenty tackle and spare eyes for rod tips. Those rocks are hidious. Great vids man
Gido Spaniard steaks cooked on the fire doesn't get any better than that except maybe after the meal kicken back with a cold frothie watching the bush tele that's living
love your edits mate👍 Good stuff 🍻
this is an amazing fishing video, the view is also very good.. greetings from Indonesia🇮🇩
Such awesome fishing! I'm all too familiar with those sharp rocks from Guam, I've got scars on both shins as evidence. If all goes well I'm heading to Ascension Island in Jan for a new job and I cannot wait to fish it. Blue Marlin, Wahoo, Yellowfin, Mahi Mahi offshore, I'm told it's possible to catch big Yellowfin and even Wahoo from shore.
Ascension Island would be a dream to fish land based
Awesome stuff bro 👍
I'm here for that thumbnail !
There is one thing man can listen for a long time and not be tired by it is a sound of a running water and one thing man can watch for a long time and not be tired of it is a flame of a camp fire. Nice video Man ! Any concern about all the Australian snakes?
100% or watching and listening to the ocean. I was a bit worried about snakes but never saw any. Generally they get out of your way
We will go kayaking in BC Canada. I love catching dinner each night. Sometimes salmon, sometimes rockfish, sometimes even just mussels and clams. It makes it so hard to go back to any store and buy fish for how expensive it is and how bad the quality is.
This is so sick fishing for macks just so magic joint and the fishing frothing on yur Spanish watched a old utube malcom Douglas's and yur vlogs are definitely up there giddo
Cheers Josh, I’ve been watching some of his old vids that are up on UA-cam lately too

Just found your channel awesomeness, wish I could be there. 🇬🇧🇬🇧👍
good job as always mate
Epic trip!!! I know you would be limited on what gear you could take, but that spot would have been amazing for fly fishing.
Loving it 👍🏻
Those are some gnarly looking rocks. I really enjoyed the fishing, and the Desert Pea was stunning.
Im a fisherman here.....that fresh king mackerel tastes awesome i know
♥️Thanks for amazing video♥️
You just made me hungry!! Again another great video...
Nice fish brotha🤙🏽🤙🏽
Amazing fishing
Good fishing brother 😍

In SoCal we get what you folks call "Yellowtail Kingfish". We just call them Yellowtail... and the sharks don't bother us much... the gaddamn sea lions do!!
insane fishing Bro!
Super…. After long time…
dudeee, you need one of those wind muffle things for your camera holy windy!
nice man thanks for the fishn fix 👍
trevally dog eyes es muy emocionante como pelea
Nice one.
So good dude
Only one thing.Wish I was there!!!😎
What's your favorite fish to eat on a trip, generally speaking? But looking back on all of the cooking/tasting parts of your trips, and the hunger/cravings you experienced, what was the TASTIEST fish you ever had?
Real cool man
Thanks for dropping as anouther
