Finally someone who takes a good majority of the fish!! There are way to many people on youtube who boast about not wasting any part of the fish yet they constantly throw away the cheeks and wings! I honestly wouldve kept the backbone for a snack, a quick fry up on the frypan and all you are throwing back is the head and guts!

Im 43 no matter whats happened in my life the ocean has always been comforting to me and part of me. Maybe we came from there. I don't know but Its a nice idea. these videos are beautiful. In the USA they re-anamed the J#wfish to goliath grouper lol, so it does not sound like a greedy fish I guess but a goliath hahaha and here they are protected you can't legally harvest them and they get 300-600 lbs! We have not been allowed to eat them for I don't know how many decades! 50?

Man only 2min 40sec in and I had to comment on the sick birds eye view drone footage - literally I could simply watch that birds eye view of the water washing up and off the rocks if that was all you had. Now I get the bonus of watching you blokes fishing 👊

Drone footage was absolutely epic! Surprised that you did not run into a crowd of folks fishing in that spot 😉. Surprised to not see you use any edge protection over the rock at your multipoint anchor. I guess it is different for recreational climbing.

Nuts. Absolutely Nuts. Insane to be doing this. Fishing like this. For the simple reason is this. If you or your buddy do fall in, Your done. Toast. Look how high up!! You are from the water. Not only will this fall kill ya, if you just happened to survive, it would be by a miracle for sure. But if you did survive the fall, there would be no way to rescue you. Because just from the looks of it the both of you guys are in an extremely remote area..

How do you keep the catch fresh on a three day fishing trip? Any passiv cooler should be at room temperature after 24h.
I can not imagine you are carrying a big battery all the way to the spots.

Frozen water bottles in cooler bags. By the last day most has melted and we get out of there. It’s a cool climate down here thou which helps

with the cliff gaff if you weld a 300mm rod straight up off the top it gives you extra reach still works ok as it’s balanced out by the 3 hooks i also opened ring more and fitted heat shrink over ends never buggered the line. this was way back last century never went to the extremes you go to. cheers

Aren't you worried that the way you're bringing the fish up, either it will get unhooked as it pushes itself against the rock face or, your line is rubbing against the rock so much that it's going to get cut?

It’s a due cigni knife. I think it’s a boning knife rather then fillet, a little stiffer and what I’m use to
