woooh so hyped to see more gen 3 content!!
I love how compact the motor is..perfect for for full suspension bikes where the down tube doesnt have a straight angle coming from the bottom bracket.
This video was very helpful. I found it very hard to find any decent info on installing this kit even the info on cyc's website is very lacking. 0 torque specs on anything. This video helped a lot. What I would advise anyone doing this install is to double check your bb shell width and install spacers accordingly. Also before installing the isis splined cranks verify you have the correct amount of spacers. You will need a special puller tool to take the crank arm back off if you haven't installed enough spacers.
Post more gen 3 videos today!
I would love to install one of these. If I could ever get one.
Can you dial the cyc x1 to 1500watts wanted the stealth but figured I'd just get the stronger motor and dial things down for the motor but also chain, cassette & drive train wear
love the video 🤘
Can you explain how to install the BSA adapters for BB92?
Can a rear rack be added to that bike for a big battery pack ? Would be best to mount a 30 ah battery on a rear rack and secure it. 👍
@CYC MOTOR LTD Does the Motor fit inside the triangle of the Rocky mountain Slayer?
Great bit of well designed engineering, only downside is the offset cranks due to spacers being added, all bikes are/were designed so you have a perfect up/down pedalling motion, and not an offset as though you are riding a slim horse, this along with all the horror stories of these cyc kits lasting like 50 miles before burning out the motors, if the price was lower and came with a perfectly matched, ie: ah, size, shaped battery to your choice of motor then this would be a world beater, failing that i'll hold off ever purchasing one until the aforementioned is sorted.
Did you locate the controller in between the motor and the frame?
How can i use cyc isis spindle on my 83 shel without right side cup or mptor install. Left side i just use euro 25 mm bearing but right side no spot for bearing on cyc spindle. Is there some type of external bb with double row bearings ?
Do you have video using this on trail?
any chance there be a vid of how the gen 3 sounds? i really hope they managed quiet them down.
Hi Andy, you can find a few videos from some of our dealers and other partners who have done noise comparisons or riding videos. We will make an official video at as soon as possible.
How long are new orders taking to delivery?
Also I emailed you a week ago asking about fit and no reply.
Quick question: Is there replacement bottom brackets for when they wear one day? I want to possibly put one of these kits on my Trek Slash 8 and I intend to ride enduro trails and 4x4 trails with my bike then. Just because I know I wear through a bb every year.
Yes, replacement parts are available at CYC resellers and directly from our website.
you missed some spaces. the documentation say to add the 2 extras spaces on the spindle. they are silver. one is about a 1mm and the other even thinner.
Is this a press fit version?
do you have full upgrade kits installation video ?
Not yet but we're working on it
Hmm... Very good.. Except now how to mount a 20 ah 52-72v battery🤔
What about the battery we're is that
Can this motor be spun to fit in the frame gap so it's not hanging down.im looking at fitting to the same bike. Be nice to know the fitment options
Yes it fit inside the triangle of the Rocky mountain Slayer. I have a special bracket for that which is a little bit longer.
Any chance of a 120mm bb model of the stealth?
Not at the moment unfortunately. We were considering it but had to make the call not to right now. Many reasons for this but you're welcome to email us for more details.
i would like to see that in action
Videos in the making :)
@@cycmotor where's the video?
I personally like the prev gen better. Controller doesn’t hang low and it’s basically theft proof. This one has a better concealed torque sensor and thats all. so for this theft reason I hope cyc starts selling parts only if customer can show proof of purchase. I want to upgrade to this torque sensor if I can when by bearings are shot.
To upgrade the torque sensor, you'll need to get the full upgrade with controller and BB assembly switching to ISIS completely. Reach out to our tech support team to help you with exactly what you'll need to do this.
This could not be fitted inside the frame?
Yes, in some frames, it can be fitted to be mounted inside the triangle.

Can this motor be dialed at 2000W?
Hi Paul, it will peak at 2000W so you can set the power limit to that.
@@cycmotor thank you.
Would have bought one already if you hit the throttle for 2 seconds and show us how loud it is
You've already seen how loud it is under throttle in a previous video.
@@Emolokz have yet to see of find any video of V3 running.
Please provide link and time signatures
From looking at it I don’t see any way they could have reduced the db level by any significance. Love design, power, build quality etc but love the silence of the HD
@@TK-OK Electrify Bike channel, they review the v3, at the very end they throw it on a bike and hit the throttle
@@TK-OK yeah if you want silence, the cyc just isn't it, but it does have torque sensor bottom bracket with isis spline over the bbs
