The good ol LAPD was notorious for their corrupt practices, and framing men they wanted to get off the streets. He was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. What did Manson do with the rest of his life? Regardless, at the end of the day, comparing these two crimes does nothing.
@@MrGrace 1. Why would the LAPD plan on killing an entire family? LAPD is corrupt but there are limits to what they do. 2. These guys are missing the point big time. It doesn't need to be federally legal, or state legal. It doesn't need to even be mentioned in any law book. Nor does heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, any other or any other product. If all men are created equal, how the fuck can you have a government. Or a police man. Somebody wearing a costume, does not give them any authority over me, or anybody else. If they take your product, and try to kidnap you, they should be dealt with properly, with lethal Force. Thieves, and kidnappers. With a little extortion thrown in for your fines. They are scum bags.
to be fair: Manson didn't actually kill anyone himself (though there's a debate out about whether or not he shot a drug dealer at one point, never proven as far as I know?), he got people high on LSD, filled their heads with all sorts of weird crap that he made up and masterminded his followers into committing the LaBianca and Tate acts themselves. Not at all to take away from the dichotomy of unfairness that Snoop was attempting to convey with a Tookie v.s. Manson sentencing comparison, but there were some real pronounced differences between these two beings. Tookie shouldn't have been executed, he clearly reformed AND was serving as pretty much THE MOST OFFICIAL SOURCE EVER on why you shouldn't join a gang. The State of California REALLY FUCKED UP when they decided to let such a valuable asset to The Black Community perish at their command, AND... it may've had the negative affect of having The Black Community turn even more against trusting the government, AS WELL AS, persisting even more gang violence as a result of not having such a powerful voice speaking out against it. Arnold really dropped the fucking ball on this one.

“Federal” means the entire country, not state-by-state... and snoop “always talking politics but really don’t know shit” dogg don’t know that either.
Glad someone caught this, it’s still Federally illegal but can be legalized amongst states
Man shut yo bitch ass up. Acting like you got a damn degree up in here punk ass nigga

The only honorable thing snoop has done is stand up and speak out for tookie
It’s because Manson killed no one, Tookie did.
He influenced his cult to kill those people. That doesn't count? He gave them the command.
@@MrGrace You realize Tookie killed an entire family and shot them execution style. Manson never did that. Tookie deserved the death penalty if you read what he did.
@@davon7100 I'm well aware of the crime that Tookie was convicted of. 1) we don't know whether he really DID that crime. The good ol LAPD was notorious for their corrupt practices, and framing men they wanted to get off the streets. They hated Tookie the most. 2) even if he did do the crime, I feel that he did enough good in his life afterwards to redeem himself. He dedicated his life to helping save kids from gangs. He was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. What did Manson do with the rest of his life?
Regardless, at the end of the day, comparing these two crimes does nothing.
@@davon7100 wasn't the woman Manson killed pregnant also?
@@MrGrace
1. Why would the LAPD plan on killing an entire family? LAPD is corrupt but there are limits to what they do.
2. So lets say Dylan Roof turned his life around and got racist white people to leave the Klan and helped white kids avoid white supremacist groups. You think he deserves a second chance? Or lets say George Zimmerman turned his life around do you think he deserves to be seen as a changed person.
This is Arian Foster form Houston Texas fame 💯
Snoop Dogg is a Real Brother and True Legend of Hip Hop
Snoop is the ultimate hustler he has his hands in everything he has some beautiful grandkids i know he is about generational wealth i respect that.
I feel like I need to pour a glass of cognac before watching these. Federal is not state level. If it goes recreational on a federal level, that means its nationally legal. States can only legalize on a state by state level. I love these talks from big uncle snoop.
Snoop dogg dressed like he just got out the bed just to check the mailbox
Damn brah this was a great interview
IT IS NOT FEDERALLY LEGAL ANYWHERE, ONLY LEGAL IN CERTAIN STATES. Arian Foster knew he was wrong but he was just being polite.
Manson didn’t kill anyone himself, he got others to do it.
Except that he didn't. Do you really believe the story of killers saying someone got them to do it with mind control drugs?
Rookie didn’t kill nobody
The death penalty in California didn't exist when Charles Manson was convicted of his crimes. From 1972 -1976 the law had been struck down in California. It only went back into effect again in 1976.
“Cut me in or cut it out”.....
That was ill
Say that shit again..."cut me in or cut it out"!
Manson never killed anyone though ,and Tookie killed four people .
Smoke weed everday
Thank you snoop for also recognizing that it's not just black being railroaded but also LATINOS.

Snoop killed many famous rappers. If you knew you would despise him. But not for me to share.
damn that’s crazy, you was there?? lol
pachro25 nah just word from the great vine. From what they say most are part of a cult idk for sure but it seems true due to famous people showing symbols in a lot of videos. I just have my own opinion just like you have yours. Some agree some disagree not everyone is the same ya know.
Just came up with a plan. Preciate the love and the game Uncle Snoop. Facts
to be fair: Manson didn't actually kill anyone himself (though there's a debate out about whether or not he shot a drug dealer at one point, never proven as far as I know?), he got people high on LSD, filled their heads with all sorts of weird crap that he made up and masterminded his followers into committing the LaBianca and Tate acts themselves.
Try getting a job while telling the employer um yea I don’t have a high school diploma or college degree but I’ve learned a lot from the streets lol
I ended up managing a recovery house. From felons to drunks. I hadn't smoked a joint in 45 days and still tested positive for pot. I tested myself. I guess I smoked more than I thought.

People say Manson never killed anyone....🤔🤔 How does anyone actually know that sure he and others have done stuff that's never be known to public just like everything else
Manson ordered the murders, he didnt executed them.

He's like a old grandma now. Looks like one too.
I've been saying for 20 years that weed will be legal one day the government was just trying to find a way to tax it like liquor....
I am so glad some know about the umbrella that Snoop spoke on in this interview. It is something we do not have in our communities. With the likes of Deon Sanders and Snoop Dogg teaming up together as business partners. It's about time that we start exploring this in our business and corporate worlds. Also I never got the opportunity to meet Mr Stanley Tookie Williams but I had the chance to coach his son in Jr ALL American FOOTBALL for the city of Carson in 1980-1990.
Uncle Snoop dropping gems.
Well true they killed tookie but kept manson alive hmm
Tookie killed himself the day he decided to join a street gang
NOCDIB & what about manson??? Did he kill hisself when he killed them people + a pregnant woman?
T McIntosh facts!
NOCDIB you trolling
Yes, Manson killed himself the day he started a murderous group. The difference is that Manson's crazy ass didn't try to change his story to get out of prison. He stayed there and died there like he should have. Tookie was King Crip and put in work but after those prison years wore on him he began writing children's books and looking for a way out. Even after he claimed to have changed he refused to debrief on the Crips. If you live the gang life then expect jail and death.
The main sealing point for weed is to sell variety of strains and make sure they have a high percentage of thc so people get high. Lets be honest most people don't care about the benefits of cbd . Even though it's main reason why people "want" it legalized.
Manson never physically murdered anyone.
Suq Madiq yes he did
Suq Madiq And to top it off if he didn’t kill anyone he’ was the leader of a murdering group ... tookie created a gang , who did he kill that u know of ?
derrick simmons he murdered 2 people in a convenient store..his gang snitched

Because Manson didn’t kill nobody physically himself

Thank you.
Edit: I have never seen a video where the content and comments were equally as ignorant. People saying that if you say Manson didn't technically murder anyone, you're defending him. GOD HELP US.
Manson wasn't convicted of murdering people.
Damn snoopy dee O double gee. You super misinformed lol. That F in ATF is actually firearms, and weed is federally illegal in EVERY state lol. How does the snoop dogg not know this. Smh... Thought dood was smarter honestly ...
Always be calm under pressure...
guess snoop forgot about the 18 year old he pursued and his bodyguard killed and then he made millions off the murder was the case soundtrack.....
hippa-FACTS everyone wants to see snoop as a loveable peaceful guy, but we all for get how he followed a guy to a park and told his bodyguard to shoot him. Just like we all thought snoop would understand weed laws too right.
Arian Foster...That name sounds familiar. He doesn't happen to be the former Pro Bowl RB from the Texans, right? That dude was a beast in his prime!
is this the running back Arian Foster ?
It all ties into faith even back before i was born artists had more faith towards the music game than they do now faith is weaved into everything we see today see hear all that faith is laced into everything even finding balance most people would say nobody has time for that
More ignorance. It's alcohol, tobacco and firearms and Manson didn't murder anyone. But stay woke, y'all. 👏 😂
FACTS
AlreadyWon Name one person he killed. Even Jonathan Douglas said manson didn't murder anyone.
Just because he didn't get caught doesn't mean he didn't murder anyone.
swisher sweets From a legal standing, that's precisely what it means. And again, Jonathan Douglas has said he didn't kill anyone
How does Snoop not know that weed isn't FEDERALLY legal in any state? Come on Snoop... FEDERAL is nation wide. The Federal government doesn't recognize the legal status of Marijuana that the states have given it.
