Rookie as a young man mad mistakes that I'm SURE as a grown man he wished he didn't make..No man wants to leave his children behind or not raise them properly if he is sane. Rookie made GREAT Strides to Correct youth and atone for what he contributed to the death of black Americans thru gang culture. His books his speeches and his words tried his best to make amends. For that I'm proud of his legacy BUT ...... BLACK MEN... PROPER BLACK MEN RAISE their child, respect their women and do things to push their legacy and family forward. My grandfather gave me the best advice ever! He said son if you die now what do you leave your children? Do you leave them wealth? Real Estate? Education? Financial stability? Emotional and mental stability and comfort? If you can't say yes to all of those questions you lived for nothing! Young and old black men. Respect your legacy! Leave a great one behind!
12:06… Got chills down my spine when he told that. Been through similar telepathic shit. It’s real. If y’all would’ve ended this piece at the 12:06 minute mark!!??
I feel for his family. They're unfortunate victims of his choices, too. But, at least they got to say goodbye. It's more than his victims were able to do.
They should’ve gave Tookie a stay/if for no other reason the influence he had on young kids/but just like always when it comes to the government/if they have a chance to make a bad decision, they’ll take it every time/damn child molester will get to die old in prison/whether Tookie was guilty or not/At this point in his life, it should’ve been all about the children and the impact he had on those kids🙏🏻❤️🥹
That would have been to easy for them that would have cost them money for the prison system so they silenced him they seen the change that could have came about and they didn't want that they wanted the black on black genocide to continue
this platform is unqualified for this interview! DO YO HOMEWORK! So nobody decided to read TOOKIE WILLIAMS books that he wrote in case he lived or dies? I live in Atlanta and from Chicago and I was working at a library hub and I went to on my break to read two of his final books. And he said that they stripped him of everything after he spent all them years on the row. And he had to ask for toothpaste and toothbrush and basic necessities that last few weeks. He said he didn’t shower or anything like that because he had enough and I ain’t watching Arnold since I read his books. If being nominated for a noble peace prize is not the epitome of rehabilitation then I know that rehabilitation is not the purpose
@@kevinmccurry4624 This interview wasn’t about Tookie, it was about TOOKIES SON & what it was like growing up as Tookies son…Did you even watch the interview before you wrote this novel?

Not Arnold’s fault. Tookie shouldn’t kill innocent people.
