Snoop Dogg Doesn't Get Rappers Wearing Dresses with Machine Guns

  • Arian Foster of the Now What? Podcast recently sat down with Snoop Dogg, who spoke about the current status of hip-hop, which he thinks needs a commissioner. Snoop explained that there are no rules like back in the day, and he feels like he might be a good fit to instill that sort of structure.
During the conversation, Snoop also compared the current state of rap to the crack era, adding that it's being pushed just like the drugs were in the '70s and '80s. To hear more, including Snoop's thoughts on the rap bosses linking up, hit the above clip.

This era has MUSIC - but its not the voice of the youth. Its the voice of shock value, the voice of the troll. Its almost like people so desensitized - they need somethin crazy to be impressed (but its like that, when you don't know whats hot)

The education system deffinetly needs rearrangement. The way classrooms are structured, the few colors their are applied to the classroom itself, the fact that theirs usually only one teacher and everything's treated so serious, we all know it's serious but people people learn better and faster through friendly competition. I could go on and on but I got my point across.

Juvenile sounded nothing like Busta Rhymes...

The moment i cut the radio on for the first time in a while, after buying a new car, and i couldn't discern one rapper from another, i felt like something died.
