One of the rare artists who's voice js better live than recorded. The trills and dynamics used live enhance the songs by 1000%

They record the songs live though to keep it as organic as possible.
@@joel6633 I know. Im in no way saying the recordings are bad. I just think the trills add an extra flavour to the songs, without being over the top. Too many bands over do it, but Evan stays relevant to the shape of the track.
@@chrisdarby3924 Ok get it! Thought you meant that the acoustic versions here on UA-cam are better than the studio versions (not that they are bad), indeed the band really backs him up in a musical way:)
@@joel6633 The bad are ridiculous live! Saw them when they came to the UK. Honestly, the best live band ive seen. Manchester Orchestra were just as tight musically, but Pinegrove put on a much better show.
This is one of my favourites tracks on Marigold! The bit, in this version, where he raises up in the middle of the song and says 'Is not' is fantastic! Great version.
Your natural dynamics are kind of astonishing. The ebb and flow fits the chords, what is being said, everything. Can't say I've heard too much like it before. Beautiful!

i would have to say probably “Need,” off of Everything So Far. Guitar tabs aren’t on Pinegrove’s official website like the Marigold & Skylight album, but if you google it they are very easy to find
