Lister D - Finished Painting and Nearing Completion - Ep.13

I am getting really close to getting my Lister D completed and in just a couple weeks it'll be running..... hopefully.

Hi I just found your channel and subscribed straight away because I have a lister D as well and had to use parts of of one engine and only complete one of them like you, I am a bit further on in my project and I am trying to get it to run however I didn't bother painting mine. I have had it running but not for very long. They are a great starter project as I think we are about the same age. Looking great from what I have seen so far.

Great to hear other kids have the same idea as me. I sort of wish I didn’t paint it now, it’s just so much hassle but if I was to mix and match my engines and not paint it would have looked really bad.

Looks all nice blair , that little spring on the governor axle sits there to stop it from moving sideways to much . When all parts are put together it should move freely but have no play sideways.
