Most of times we use a bit of diesel fuel in a bath and a paint brush to remove the dirt and grime , water can also be used but be very sure to dry all parts directly after cleaning them to prevent rust .

I have been using paraffin to clean the parts would you recommend using diesel instead? Thanks for the help

At 8.16. Just under your thumb there is a lock bolt/nut if you unscrew that nut you can take off the entire centrifugal clutch in one. I wouldnt pull off the individual cogs , just clean in place. That bolt i describe locks the casing of the clutch to the large bit. (If you know what i mean)
