    Just clean the bearings and parts really good and oil them richly during assembly i think most parts are good to be used. For a next project id say get a nice wolsely. I like how you got that thing out of the side of the engine ,i still have to do that but mine is really stuck in there .

      Gotcha, to get the water bung out we had to grind it flat and drill it out so it was also very suck in there. You can see in the thumbnail what was left of it after getting it out.

      It worked pretty well, we just needed to clean the threads well before putting in the new one.

      Just checked and I’m pretty sure it is just a 1” bsp thread.

      I’ve thought about it but for the time it’ll take it just doesn’t seem like it’s worth it and we also have a friend who would be able to get it done in an afternoon.
