    will the box work on aquaclear 20...?

    • @MightyNanoTank
      @MightyNanoTank  5 років тому

      KEN rOSECRANS I’m not entirely sure... because the AQ20 might not pull enough water out as the water flows into the skimmer box. So the surface skimming won’t be as effective

    Love it man, the 5g tank is turning out beautifully! Will you be adding some magnet mounts to the side for more coral mounting spots?

    99% of pico reef tanks look bad to me, but yours is actually gorgeous!! I love how you did the aquascape. And it looks so neat without the unsightly huge ass wavemaker that every small reef tank has.

    Hey, love the tanks and how passionate you are about the hobby. I got bit by the saltwater bug last year and have been addicted ever since. My question to you is on a 5 gallon reef would doing water changes every 3 days be too much? It's a very small amount of water. Just some advice no judgement here I'm looking for your opinion.

    Just curious how many have started a budget nano? I started a 10 gal and I wish I could say it cost me $200 but I’m up to $700 with 5 basic coral ($220 at lfs about $120 over priced that’s my fault) and 2 black clowns ($80 from petco) so about $400 for just the rocks sand lighting and tank. $100 of that is for black box full spectrum light and $80 of it is for tunze ato.

    New suscriber here! Really cute tank! Good idea with the gsp. I am going to put purple star polyp on my back glass and try to keep it trimmed down. I saw it done at a lfs on a sculpture and all you could see was the glowing green polps and it looked like lights. The purple blends in so thats all that stands out! Its a shame that light isnt being sold. It is really making coral pop. What other colors do you have on with the blue? looks amazing!
