omg!!!! my daughter died unexpectedly and she loved vintage fabrics, laces, buttons, history and collection of beautiful women, purse, jewelry etc. I been trying to find a beautiful way to put some of her fabulous things together..... this is one way I'll try, only I'm going to use her picture!!!!! thank you!!!!

This is beautiful. The lady's face, the colors you chose and the music all gave it a very silent movie vibe to watch. Very well done. Thank you for sharing.

Getting this project posted before the lights go out from storming!!! Here is #2 of the Altered Canvas Inspired by Finnabair. I love her work!!! Follow the link to this complete tutorial to show you how I created this design. Using shades of blues, purples, browns, silver and Gold with my Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays really brought a new color combo to this one!!! Enjoy and be inspired!! ua-cam.com/video/NDsmxXqfAHE/v-deo.html

i have been watching some of your videos and i just want to say that u are amazingly talented!!! Your work is just breathtakingly beautiful and unique. I don't know much about u but i did see that u suffer from chronic illness, as do i, and being home unable to work outside of the house, i do a lot of mixed media to get some of my creativity out, pass the time, and use art as therapy and u are such an inspiration to me. i really hope and pray that u get reprieve from the chronic pain, exhaustion, and illness that those of us dealing with health issues are plagued with. i just love your work and i thank u for providing us with countless tutorials, tips, artwork, and inspiration. Thank u so much

Jamie, I struggle daily with chronic neck pain, and cannot work, and seldom drive. My neck is screwed together and hurts every day. I sew and craft, and play the guitar and the ukelele, but most days it is a big struggle. I can barely sit at my sewing machine. But I will not stop. It is very therapeutic when I can do it. Some days my neck hurts so badly that I have to sit in my recliner with a pillow under my neck. Those are the days that I hand sew, or knit hats for charity. I also play my guitar, but it is hard to do when you are leaning back. LOL I don't want to just get caught up completely in TV, and the computer. But taking lessons on line, and watching tutorials is very helpful. My best wishes go out to you, and have a great holiday season. Keep crafting!!

  • @crystalyng1460

I think the point of her detail oriented process is that she knows what the canvas looks like underneath, and it's part of her personality to NOT half-ass it.
If you don't dig her process, but you love the finish product, than "what's the point" of commenting anything other than - "it turned out perfectly beautiful Angela."
No need to criticize her whole tutorial, to only end up liking the finished product.
I personally loved the process Angela, because to me it's very much like a puzzle. A place for everything - and every piece inspires the next placement.
    Well done.

Thank you so much for understanding. Not everyone has the ... how would you put it the common respect and knowledge to respect that there are no rules in art. Art comes from the soul of the individual expressing it. Yes, it began as a dark and majestic place and then bloomed into what you see here. THank you so much for appreciating the process and loving the piece. IT means so much!!! BTW this piece sold and has a home in Australia.

Could all the critics and difficult people please keep in mind, you are not tied to your chair with your eyelids glued open, being forced to watch, move on if you don't like it. I have watched thousands of yt vids, did I like them all? NO! But I do appreciate the time it takes for someone to film, edit and post something. People don't have to share, tips, tricks and which products to use, but I for one as a newbie to mixed media am very grateful they do. Thank you for sharing this video Angela, :)

Came across your work, which is beautiful. Could you please do a tutorial for beginners, explaining the types of paints needed .The other products used you hadn’t held them up long enough in your video to read what the labels were . Love your work ! Look forward too learning your craft. Thanks for sharing

Hello Angela, your art is sooooo beautiful!! Most people don't know this tidbit of info but the military on various bases allow small business owners to sell their products on base. Every base my family has been assigned to has encountered small business owners selling candles, perfumes, oils, clothing, you name it. If I saw your work at one of our military Px's displayed I would definitely purchase your art.!!!!

I know this is 4 years ago, but if you still answer questions I would like to know what is the brand of patina spray that you used. This is so fabulous !!! I just love it!!!
