This is so inspiring. I'm going to attempt a black & white pic of my sister and alter it for her birthday coming up next month. Hope she's heard of Finnabair ....lol. Love it!
This is absolutely stunning! I have to say that I seen the art from Finnabair's page, and imo, yours are so much better than the original. I absolutely love watching your videos and tutorials. You have so much stuff from anywhere! I am new to scrapping and I can't wait till I get build up a stash like yours so I can try make some of these as well. So much is used and it is actually a good way of getting used those colours of embellishement that you might have which isn't really fitting in anywhere else. Again, absolutely beautiful!!

I'm in awe of your creation with these antique women! I'm going to try, but need to know what type of paper did you print the pic? And if you don't have a xyron machine any sugesstion where I can print it and stick to cardboard? Anyone? So it can be sturdy and no bubbles! Thank you and can't wait for next!!
Gila Muniz I print the photo onto a piece of regular computer paper at high setting. Then I place it onto a pice of chipboard using my Xyron Sticker maker max. Hope this helps!!!
Hello Angie, like you just said, the work is so beautiful, there is only one thing that I need to know, can you tell me the colors that you used for the canvas, the video goes too fast, that I can't get the names for the colors. I will appreciate it. Thanks
I’d love to know where you get your amazing vintage lady pictures? Could you link the site or sites?also all those lovely flowers and other appliqués. It is stunning btw! Wow
I love the your altered canvas. This is my first exposure to Finnabair and I am excited. I understand about enlarging the image, what I'm not to clear on is turning that image into a sticker. How is this accomplished? Love you work. Thanks.
I use my enlarges photo and run it through my XYRON creative Station Max. I run it through and it makes it into a sticker I then put that sticker onto a piece of chipboard for strength and glue it onto the canvas. See link here: www.xyron.com/en-US/Products/Creative-Station/9--Creative-Station/
I am soooo going to try this with an old photo of my Grandmother who died when my Mom was 3 yrs old. The photoI will use is definitely vintage. Is there a place where I can get a step-by-step tutorial? Thank you so very much for sharing.
I've been scouring UA-cam for another artist to watch and tag you're it! I love your work and these vintage girl canvases are absolutely awesome! I'd love to find the same images and try my hand at making my own. Can you tell me where the vintage girls are from? Thank you! I've subscribed!
Just started watching your work and I absolutely love it. However, I am wondering what is the purpose of the cheesecloth , especially since it is not covering the entire canvas. Please indulge me and explain. Thank you.
KAROL PIERSON you do know she is paid by various sponsors to demo their products (which are donated free to her), so cost is no object to Angela. This is all done in hopes that we will purchase all these products. However I have seen her do tons of the lady face canvases. Most of us can not afford to be that wasteful with our craft products. Yes she often covers everything up...
Thank you so much for sharing this masterpiece.! I’d like to know in the beginning, did you start on a painted black canvas? Is that what your main substrate was? It’s truly beautiful. :)
Angela your work is amazing. Do you enter it in the art shows ? if not then you should. Also, do you mind if we use your art as a teaching tool ? I teach a youth group art. i live on the beach and we use a lot of beach theme items in our art classes.
Sure that would be great to teach students about this form of Art!!! All that I ask is that you link me back and let them know where the inspiration came from. Merry Christmas
