I’ve watched this off and on all day and throughly enjoyed it. No annoying music , no chit chat just talking us through the process. Bravo ! I learned so much. 😊
Glad to have found your video. Still adding value in 2024. Yes it’s long but lots of great tips and ideas for new crafters. Hope you’re well and thank you for taking the time to share your creativity. Take care
I’ve only done a few mixed media canvases, after years of painting in different mediums, and I loved this video! Piece by piece with your thought processes, was fabulous, and no annoying music or time lapse. Thank you, I’m having a go at something similar tomorrow.
I just came across this video and it is my perfect kind of video. Shows everything in real time, explains everything, no music and what a beautiful piece of artwork. I’m new to this and will watch again and try to make mine as nice as yours. I’m so grateful for your time, talent, knowledge and sharing❣️ In gratitude, Shirley. Going to check out your other videos.

It was great to see one of these being made from start to finish without it being speeded up or like Christine said below with music playing. I feel I can make one of these canvases now that I've seen how you build it up. Thank you for doing this for us newbies!! It was really good!
This was wonderful! I am a painter, but have fallen in love with this kind of art. I truly like the "real time" video's , part of the process of learning a new craft is listening to the thought process of the artist as she/he makes their art. Your running commentary was informative and entertaining. Thank you for your time!
Mesmerizing....... I'm not a crafter or scraper at all I watercolor and just started doing Acrylic pours......ran across your vid and I love it.......Your lesson was most inspiring....thank you and I too love your paints......I'm going to start saving my bits and bobs........and just recently cleaned out a junk drawer......treasures lost forever, I'm afraid.......I'll start again :)Thank you so much!

Thank you for sharing, this is truly a masterpiece and I'm so grateful that you showed the tutorial from beginning to end. You made it look effortless.😮❤
Totally enjoyed your video. I have played it quite a few times. It has been very helpful and I appreciate seeing what you do to make such a gorgeous and interesting piece from start to finish. Thank you.
Sari! I have been waiting for a tutorial like this for ages! I am so grateful to you for being so generous with your time AND your talents--you have no idea how much this has allowed for me to take the plunge and attempt this style of art! Thank you for inspiring all of us by sharing!
I love watching real time videos with no music, and this one was very relaxing and helpful. I'm just starting out and this has been very inspirational and instructive. Thank you for taking the time to make this, I hope you have more similar on your channel.

Jen K Hi there... I might have something else... I'm not sure... 😱 There are tutorial of different sorts...
I loved your video and not too long at all, I am a beginner and just trying to get the confidence to start now I have most of what is needed and some "junk" too. It is always good for me to watch and learn, the longer the better and nooooooooooooo music. Thanks again

thank u... and welome to this wonderful world of crafts :)...
Love love loved this video. This is the most interesting mixed media I've seen yet. I want to try this but I need to go back to the beginning and watch it again before I start on mine. Want to see more of your work. I have subscribed and liked with no problem doing so. Thanks so much.
Thanks ever so much for making this video. I learned a LOT from you. Now I can begin to use my "collection" of the items I've been hoarding for entirely too long! I look forward to more of your mixed media instruction!
I enjoyed your video. I especially liked the use of the hot glue to create the water effect. Thanks for your hsrd work, and willingness to share your creativity.
Absolutely amazing art. 👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾 Not too long as it was very in-depth. Necessary for novices like myself. Thank you for sharing. Have already a nice collection for my first Steam Punk canvas. 🤗
I like the occasional long process video. It helps me learn new techniques. And I can always fast forward if I only need a few pointers. I really like your assemblages. Thanks!
I love this video. Thank you so much for taking the time to make it. It has been the catalyst for my switching to mixed media. As a result, I've become a veritable bower bird, collecting all manner of bits and pieces, and incorporating them into the canvas. I've tweaked it a bit by spackling the board first and texturing it, before I overlay the embellishments. I've also been incorporating some wire work (from my jewellery days) into the mixed media.
Sari, you know I love your work, I've said so, many, many times before. The video was long but very interesting to see and hear your thought process. I have all that going on in my head and to hear you go through it ...in some strange way made me feel I can enjoy the process and it's OK. ..rather than beat myself up for indecision and pontification. TYFS. I'm glad your pause button didn't work...Hugs always, Kate 😘
I just found your videos today. Your video was great, you explained every step which is so helpful to those who want to do mixed media and is afraid to jump off. Thanks for the hard work and look forward to watching more.
I thought it was a great video. I learned some new ideas from you and got inspiration. I like your down to earth manner. I did notice that when you became really involved in your work you did not ‘chat’ with us. I would definitely watch more of your videos. Thank you for sharing.

Sari, I learned so much from your demonstration. It may have been a little too long. In areas where you are doing fairly lengthy procedures you might want to pause the camera and then come back with the finished stage. You are a delightful teacher and I love your artwork.
Sari, Thnx for a beautiful tutorial. I love how you work & I usually shy away from black period. this is an amazing canvas and I love the glue drips it adds such texture and massive grungyness to the piece. LOVE IT!!! Great job! Thank you so much for your work.
Thank you for the video. Lovely tutorial with great verbal and visual instructions. I'm on my third Steampunk multimedia piece and found your video very inspirational. I look forward to more of your work.
This is very intriguing, I have to try this, thank you for sharing your ideas with us. I don't think it was too long at all, it's an art that takes a bit, that's all! Thank you!

Think I'll give it some thought...lol. Nice knowing it can be gesso'd and recolored, what I love about this kind of project! Thanks again!!
I love the way you use junk items and or home made crafts in your work, most youtube crafters seem to put on heaps of dollars worth or store purchased craft things like flowers and metal embellishments etc.
I throughly enjoyed your video. I love how it was in real time and step by step. Now I understand the layering and cluster effects. I got comfy and wrote down notes for myself. Thank you so much for sharing this. I’m going to give it a go. 👍👏💞
