I really appreciate this guide. Only watched the ones I've beaten thus far (it isn't many -- and don't know how people have gotten this far already, LOL), but it's great to see you take a few hits throughout this. It actually illustrates what to watch out for much better than those that sail through the entire fight without so much as getting clipped.
I am never gonna play this game but just seeing these bosses and how insane they look is a treat

I recommend trying it , yes it’s difficult but it’s also very rewarding, the story hints , the characters, quests , bosses , the environments, everything is just on point , not trying to exaggerate but it’s honestly the best game I’ve played in my life , it’s just a perfect balance of challenging and fun and growing your character to become stronger.

Starscourge Radahn fight seems dope. The atmosphere made the fight looked epic
Still prefer the Soul of Cinder to Elden Beast, but the latter's not overshadowed by Radagon like Gehrman did to the Moon Presence, and its a marked improvement to both Gwyn and the two final bosses of DSII (Isshin is in a league of his own).
In terms of Bonus Bosses, the dragon fights were awesome, and the major bosses were great across the board!

I mean, they kinda did with vanilla DS2 (Darklurker, Velstadt, Smelter, Pursuer, and Looking Glass Knight were most of the good bosses before DLC arrived), but otherwise I agree.
last i checked, DS2 has a really un-great boss roster that people have described as "mass-produced". after seeing that one GDQ speedrun where the game stutters every 15 mins...i'm inclined to agree that the whole game was probably sweatshopped off.

It is hauntingly scary to see that none of these crazy bosses are the peak of their strength. They r usually a mere shell of their true selves and still are able to do this. Imagine we fight all of them at full strength 😳

That's only true for the decaying world of dark souls. It's not the same in elden ring, many of them are at their peak

Godrick, Rykard, Margit, Rennala, Malenia, Mohg and Radagon's fights have to be my utmost favorites. Every boss fight is fucking phenomenal in this game, but those are the ones that stick out to me the most.

My choices for Awesome Bosses would be the Tree Sentinel, Mohg, Margit/Morgott, Godrick "The Golden", Rykard, Ranni, Radagon/Mecha-Gwyn, Elden Beast, the dragons, Astel, the Fire Giant, Godfrey, Radahnn, Malenia, Maliketh... Too many to count!

By far one of those most fun boss fights for me was the Regal Ancestor Spirit - solely for the soundtrack, it wasn’t like any other boss fight music in this game - it felt more calming - as if you were a hunter, stalking your prey from the bushes with a bow and arrow, gently pulling the string back on your bow as you connect with your inner spirit. Yeah, that shit was wild, fighting this boss while on acid was crazy

This is great honestly. For months I’ve been watching different Elden rings videos and always thinking I wish someone would find and fight every single boss there is. Everyone just likes doing the ones to complete the main storyline.. I’ve made it a goal to do the same
For future reference, when godrick 2nd phase starts, run toward him to his right side and you can get a few hits in while dodging the flame since it doesnt hit he ground next to him :)

Rennala's fight is so aesthetically beautiful! I love anything dealing with the moon. It's gonna hurt fighting her considering how heartbroken she is. When you break her barrier and she's just lying there helpless. Makes your heart weep. You defeating Mohg was the most seratonin inducing fight. Lol! Especially after finding out what he did to Miquella.

This surpasses your Witcher 3 boss compilation, and this is without DLC yet!!
The big boi bosses in this game are amazing. Radahn is one of my favourite fights in the series, just epic and awesome, Renalla was amazing, Rykard was spectacular, Godrick was fun, Margit and Morgott where fun, fire giant was pretty entertaining. I'm not any further in and I'm fairly sure alot of the criticism of a few of these bosses are largely generated through salt. Godskin duo and Commander Niall need some heavy tuning tho...
Edit: Literally after I made this comment I went and smacked Godskin Duo and Niall to pieces with Starscourge greatswords. I've finished the game now, and honestly think those bosses are were pretty fun. Godskin theme is my favourite in all of From's games now.
Okay well i'm fairly sure you're just salty about Godskin duo and Commander Niall because not only did I find them both pretty entertaining but I one-shot both of them. It couldn't possibly be that people have different experiences, criticism I don't agree with is just salt.
@@hunter0moo on the contrary a lot of people actually do struggle with these bosses. hell, There's a thread on reddit of people just agreeing godskin duo need to be nerfed. commander niall is a bitch too because he just summons his little knights, yeah I've seen people one shot him but that's just them doing op magic builds, while there r a hell of a lot of people doing strength and dex builds. I'm glad u got them first try or whatever, but the experiences won't be the same 24/7, so Don't always assume things r salty because this actually has a good point...

I'm about as far in as you and have been taking my time and making sure to complete every catacomb and have fought many bosses so far.. main complaint I have is how many times I've fought the same bosses! I've fought the watchdogs 5 times now, pumpkin heads two times as a boss and lord knows how many times as a regular enemy, godskin apostle 2 times by himself and then once with the godskin noble who I had also fought before! I could keep going on but I'm sure my point is clear, I'd personally much prefer they just had fewer bosses instead of using the same ones over and over again
Godskin duo really isn't that bad. And I've faced them with pure melee. The pillars really help

I love how you started with the hardest boss in the beginning.
When you think about it, the boss lineup has a higher degree of reskins and would count more as minibosses. Some people say it's not the best overall, but when a boss in this is good, it's REALLY good. I still remember Godrick, Radahn, Rykard, Mohg, Godfrey, Elden Beast, Radagon, Placidusax and even Rennala which is the first time I've seen a nice twist on Prowling Magus and Congregation!
The dragon with the sword is the first enemy that makes me speechless.i mean it's a dragon and I never see a dragon has a sword in my life😲
I will never play games like this as I'll never get gud, but thank you for sharing your journey with us. This was a cool watch and wow what a beautiful game.

Whereas older Fromsoft games already had fairly intimidating first bosses, I'm very glad that, outside the grafted monster at the very beginning (who isn't here for some reason), Elden Ring took the Kirby approach of "first boss is pathetic and the final boss is literally God"

Doubts for you or anyone reading:
Is that katana you were using against Godrick the one the samurai starts the game with?
Where did you get that helper for the Godrick's fight? The one that helps against Margit gets spawned right before the entrance door but thats not the case with Godrick's.
Do these buffing spells lasts the whole boss fight or at least until a CG scene? Seemed like you had to rebuff after the CG scene between phase 1 and 2 of Godrick's fight.
I noticed while you were fighting the Elden Beast that all its moments wer sinked with the music. Also I tried shrums candy bar for first time today and smoked so that might also be why lol.

These bosses look cool, but not technically all battles with them are good or fun. Dark Souls bosses were nicer for the most part, especially DS3.

The starting samurai katana lol. I don't recommend for long term but I was in a rush!

I really think I died the most times to the bell bearing Hunter. The dudes attack when he throws his sword is like a guaranteed hit if not two, and it does major damage. Then if you try staying up close to him he’s a tank, and his sword has crazy long reach which makes it hard to dodge. Never thought he would of been the one to give me trouble
How dope would it be if there's an Elden Ring 2 and your last opponent is you - how you end the game previously. Either way, great designs again as usual. They delivered again.

This is a great list but not the complete list. Be aware if your using this as a check list that there's variations of a lot of these boss fights as other boss fights. There are 5 death birds for example and around the same count of nights cavalry. Like 4 variation of crystal warrior fights at the end of caves/small dungeons. If you just search a minor bosses name in the wiki you'll be able to spot all the locations for each one.
