I honestly feel like Blade of Miquella and Goddess of Rot should be two different fights. As it stands now, basically every tournament involving Malenia is already decided, because everyone who fights her has to beat the strongest boss in the game, twice, without healing at all.
Unfortunately, she's a package deal. Even in enemy and boss randomizers, a boss with one phase that is replaced with Malenia will have both Malenia and Goddess of Rot because they're the same entity. Yet they separate God-devouring Serpent and Rykard because they are two different entities (and also because Rykard has waaaaaay too much health; if he scaled up any more, he'd be an extremely long and painful fight).

She' s a demigoddess, but in fight she' s better than legends and gods. This makes perfect sense! It must always be remembered that she was trained by a legendary swordsman and he' s fight and sealed the essence of the Outer God Rot. "The student surpasses the teacher". This is why Malenia is so strong and powerful. When the DLC arrives I would like to know who this swordsman was? What has he done in the past? He' s lived in the era when there were ancient Gods, when they had a form before becoming essences? Why did he have to seal the essence of the Rot God? I hope we learn something about this in the DLC!

Mohg would Nihil everyone to death except Malenia, whose P2 will then Rot everyone to death. Radagon and Morgott are non-factors, while Radahn's meteor if it triggers will shorten the battle by a few seconds but not change the result. That's hardly interesting.
Maybe maliketh and malenia one team (the non omen Ms), godfrey and children another team, and radagon-rennala and children (the Rs), would be more balanced

Granted Rykard won't be on the Legends team, but Fire Giant is and he will have way more back up. Mogh can kill them all if he gets the Nihil off, but I doubt he will be able to especially if he's paired up with Maliketh who will just delete him before Nihil happens.
Sometimes I wish Placi could start from his 2nd phase instead of his 1st phase in these fights like how Maliketh usually goes without his 1st Beast Clergyman phase I think under that circumstance, Placi may actually have a chance of defeating Malenia here. We can see Malenia were having some difficulties keeping up with his teleports here once Placi entered his 2nd phase, but due to the hp gap between them at that point, Placi just couldn't maintain his advantage for long

Rykard would annihilate most of them by lore standards. He's merged with an Outer God, a serpent of immense power capable of devouring Gods and killing them completely and utterly. I think Rykard knew the truth about himself being a Demigod and wanted to destroy the Erdtree because of the lies surrounding Marika and Radagon
The game company has not designed many skills that can specifically hit Rykard within one meter of his body. Therefore, videos of melee enemies fighting close to Rykard will be very difficult to watch.
i knew Morgot was fighting a losing battle against fortissax but the slash that interrupted what would have been a killing blow with the double lightning stakes was nothing short of heroic.
The amount of fights that Rennala would win (or at least lose in a more dignified way) if she didn't have that dogshit melee attack that barely merits even trying to dodge.

I seriously don't understand all the hatred towards Malenia and her moveset. It's from software gift to all ER players. They could easily save her for DLC of her own. I mean her storyline is one of the best in the game. Her design and lines she delivered are so great. The battle with her is just epic and satisfying after learning her moves the OST in her 2nd phase is one of my fav. Her entire stuff is the peak of elden ring itself. Yet so much hatred. I think under that circumstance, Placi may actually have a chance of defeating Malenia here. We can see Malenia were having some difficulties keeping up with his teleports here once Placi entered his 2nd phase, but due to the hp gap between them at that point, Placi just couldn't maintain his advantage for long

The fights with rykard are always so agonizing to watch since his attacks are meant for players and not other bosses who would slip to some spot where his attacks can’t hit them. I really wonder how these fights would go if he knew how to fight properly
Rykard would annihilate most of them by lore standards. He's merged with an Outer God, a serpent of immense power capable of devouring Gods and killing them completely and utterly. I think Rykard knew the truth about himself being a Demigod and wanted to destroy the Erdtree because of the lies surrounding Marika and Radagon
The game company has not designed many skills that can specifically hit Rykard within one meter of his body. Therefore, videos of melee enemies fighting close to Rykard will be very difficult to watch.

Yeah. Sadly, fortissax just doesnt have the health pool needed to counteract the fact that he's a giant walking hitbox. Add in that his death lightning is useless against bosses, and he's just not on the same level.

I seriously don't understand all the hatred towards Malenia and her moveset. It's from software gift to all ER players. They could easily save her for DLC of her own. I mean her storyline is one of the best in the game. Her design and lines she delivered are so great. The battle with her is just epic and satisfying after learning her moves the OST in her 2nd phase is one of my fav. Her entire stuff is the peak of elden ring itself. Yet so much hatred. That's shame honestly
People hate beautiful chicks in video games, nothing new. They try and mask it with "cheap", "unfair", "broken", etc., (which applies to most major bosses anyway) but it's really just a matter of their internal ugliness reflecting their ugly demeanour in how they communicate.
