@@menouba9416Yes, but nobody wants to admit it. For instance, Malenia herself refuses to acknowledge it according to Gowry's dialogue, the Golden Order is founded on the principle that Marika is the one true god so Radagon denies it, and everyone else apart from Miquella seems to hate her and so don't think too much about it. So it's an open secret, so to speak.
Godfrey, according to Godrick's rune description, is also a secret demigod. These messages after defeating bosses in general are kind of weird, especially considering that the demigods were added a while after the game's release.
Placi and Fire Giant had their chances. How their big attacks miss her is quite comical as she is petite slow walking towards them, and they were just large buffoons. They definitely had their chances. Elden Beast wouldn't squander his size, mobility and ranged attack advantage. Just don't have him fight in his own stage as he tends to do Cirque de Soleil performances there instead of fighting and spends too much time looking at the reflection of his own ass in the water.
@@Xgenstudioz777Godfrey is not a demigod. He was a demigod by marriage with Marika. When he was exiled, he was no longer a demigod. Radagon and his children also became demigods after marrying Marika.

The conclusion is simple: Legends are stronger than Demigods, but Malenia is stronger than all Legends.

It must always be remembered that she was trained by a legendary swordsman and he' s fight and sealed the essence of the Outer God Rot.

This is why Malenia is so strong and powerful.
When the DLC arrives I would like to know who this swordsman was?
What has he done in the past?
He' s lived in the era when there were ancient Gods, when they had a form before becoming essences?
Why did he have to seal the essence of the Rot God?
I hope we learn something about this in the DLC!

To be a demigod you had to be born. To be a legend you had to prove it.
All of the demigods are accomplished and proved themselves to be strong though. Except Godrick of course.

I honestly feel like Blade of Miquella and Goddess of Rot should be two different fights. As it stands now, basically every tournament involving Malenia is already decided, because everyone who fights her has to beat the strongest boss in the game, twice, without healing at all.
Godfrey would’ve won but malenia fight is unfair because she gets full hp back but Godfrey didn’t same with other bosses
Unfortunately, she's a package deal. Even in enemy and boss randomizers, a boss with one phase that is replaced with Malenia will have both Malenia and Goddess of Rot because they're the same entity. Yet they separate God-devouring Serpent and Rykard because they are two different entities (and also because Rykard has waaaaaay too much health; if he scaled up any more, he'd be an extremely long and painful fight).
To be fair, I doubt any of those would last against Goddess of Rot alone.
@@YaBoiViewer That's how that fight goes, and it's nothing new in souls games. Sister Frida had 3 bars in DS3. Also, Goddess of Rot alone would murder Godfrey.

Fun fact about the Regal Ancestor: It literally cannot access it's full moveset if it isn't in its arena. It's healing move is actually what gives it more moves, as it absorbs the attacks of the spirit animals it consumes to heal
Who would've thought that Malenia vs Placidusax would have been the coolest fight of them all?
It was so cinematic and then placidusax having 1 hp just to do the laser beam

Godfrey vs Mohg was one of the coolest fights ever. Seeing Malenia dodge Maliketh's black blade aerials was pretty sick too.
Can we please take a moment and appreciate how far Morgott went, I know the game did his boss fight dirty but he had some impressive saves despite that!!!

Malenia having 2 health bars makes it so much harder for the other bosses who enter phase 2 at half health, water fowl dance makes the other bosses cry

I like how all these bosses break eachothers posture with 1 hit but I have to jump on their head with duel 100 inch hammers 20 times.
The legends being, for the most part, stronger than the demigods makes a lot of sense lore wise too. They had to work for everything they had, some from nothing, while the demigods were mostly born to power. Then when you look at the strongest of the demigods, millennia and radahn, it makes sense too as they were born into power and continued to work to master themselves.

Why Maliketh in holy team? Shouldn’t he be pure physical? Especially because of his first phase Gurranq.

Without his holy damage (destined death), he hits as weak as gurranq, who is pure physical, who is so weak that im not interested in seeing him fight. Team gravity could win every fight if fallingstar beast actually used its trumpcard like ever. Too bad it almost always dies beforehand.
Would love to see a battle of Godfrey and his children, vs Radagon and his. Between Nihil, scarlet aeonia, the falling swords and Radagon's love of big gold explodey things, could be quite the spectacle!
Mohg would Nihil everyone to death except Malenia, whose P2 will then Rot everyone to death. Radagon and Morgott are non-factors, while Radahn's meteor if it triggers will shorten the battle by a few seconds but not change the result. That's hardly interesting.
Maybe maliketh and malenia one team (the non omen Ms), godfrey and children another team, and radagon-rennala and children (the Rs), would be more balanced

If that happens, Malenia needs to be separated into two phases or else the battle will already be decided.

Bjorn already did a Battle Royale involving all the Demigods, Godfrey, Maliketh Rennala and Elden Beast. Unless you mean a group tag team match between legends vs Demigods, in which case Legends would take it as Godfrey would just poise break everyone and allow Maliketh to just freely kill them all.

@@ashen188 No they cannot, look up Malenia vs Fire Giant and Rykard, it's a 2/3 match and Malenia loses 2 times to those two. Granted Rykard won't be on the Legends team, but Fire Giant is and he will have way more back up. Mogh can kill them all if he gets the Nihil off, but I doubt he will be able to especially if he's paired up with Maliketh who will just delete him before Nihil happens.

Sometimes I wish Placi could start from his 2nd phase instead of his 1st phase in these fights like how Maliketh usually goes without his 1st Beast Clergyman phase
I think under that circumstance, Placi may actually have a chance of defeating Malenia here. We can see Malenia were having some difficulties keeping up with his teleports here once Placi entered his 2nd phase, but due to the hp gap between them at that point, Placi just couldn't maintain his advantage for long

i knew Morgot was fighting a losing battle against fortissax but the slash that interrupted what would have been a killing blow with the double lightning stakes was nothing short of heroic.

The Demigods all have some BS gimmick - Radahn’s one shot starfall, Mohg’s blood, Rykard taking only a little damage from all but one weapon, Malenia healing and giving scarlet rot and having waterfowl dance, etc. Maliketh and Godfrey are clearly stronger without the BS.

Yeah. Sadly, fortissax just doesnt have the health pool needed to counteract the fact that he's a giant walking hitbox. Add in that his death lightning is useless against bosses, and he's just not on the same level.
I seriously don't understand all the hatred towards Malenia and her moveset. It's from software gift to all ER players. They could easily save her for DLC of her own. I mean her storyline is one of the best in the game. Her design and lines she delivered are so great. The battle with her is just epic and satisfying after learning her moves the OST in her 2nd phase is one of my fav. Her entire stuff is the peak of elden ring itself. Yet so much hatred. That's shame honestly
