- Meghan Markle isn't the ONLY person to deal with styling problems, in fact, many CELEBRITIES have the SAME styling concerns as the Meg! Today's video takes a look at 3 of the Meg's styling needs and compares how some big name celebrities handle the same issue. There is a longer intro on this video to explain what exactly a style concern IS & why it is not a legit "problem" but rather part of the puzzle of your clothes & style. The Celebrity Style examples begin at 3 mins 25 seconds. I will try to get timestamps up in time, but as you will hear, I am STILL sick, I'm so sorry I sound awful, please forgive me.
Big Surprise! The Meg hardly addresses her body type at all let alone correctly the majority of the time. In today's video you will see exactly what style MAGIC well dressed (or well styled) Celebrities use to accentuate and bring out the best in their body types. Their techniques are easier to see when side by side with the Meg who just, doesn't use the right approach.

Maybe we discuss MM and her fashion so much because we know she has unlimited resources and access to stylists and designers. There is no excuse to look so bad most of the time.
As well as tailoring which could change her looks 180 degrees.
She is basically prancing around flaunting a price tag. In her mind, the only thing that matters is how much something costs.
It's funny, your comment just reminded me of one of the email exchanges that proved she was a liar (SHOCKER!) & had worked with Omid Scobie on that butt kissing, hagiography, Finding Freedom. She emailed Jason Knauf to make sure that Omid knew she DID NOT have a stylist as a senior working royal & her style & fashion was the only thing she had full control of... It goes to show how completely unaware she is of how horrible she looks 99% of the time & she sees the world through the lens of a fun house mirror🤣🤣It's hysterical that she actually wanted 100% of the credit for looking like an unmade bed every single time she was caught on camera when she was a working royal.
I wasn’t rich or overweight but I always bought a size bigger and had my business clothes tailored. It didn’t cost that much and perfect fit.
I think it's because we are jerks.
MM looks ridiculous in shorts and she continues to insist on wearing them, even to formal events. I just don’t get it.

Exactly..its not only what she wears and how she wears it..... its in inappropriateness of What she is wearing To the Event!! If we think about it, the most ordinary woman knows what to put on to wear to the beach, out to lunch with friends, to a wedding or funeral, etc..... and they are All very Different Outfits.. the most basic of any woman's decisions, and can't even get that much right!!! Who in their right mind would wear extra baggy, extra short shorts to a formal event!!????!! I'm insulted on behalf of the Veterans!!
Let's face it, the main difference is that the A-listers listen to their stylist, whereas Meghan doesn't.

Jennifer Gardner in that red dress is absolutely exquisite! Meghan Markle is a very pretty woman but she seems to never be able to pull the entire look together. Either the clothes are ill-fitting and not ironed, or her hair is a mess, or her spray-tan is over applied and/or misapplied, or her make-up is too thick, or the entire look is completely inappropriate for the occasion. Thanks for the examples and comparisons. I always learn something from your videos.

Her torso is "boxy", she's short waisted and dresses herself in garments that accentuate those features.
Nothing is wrong w the her actual features, but M seems to want to achieve tall and willowy. The clothing she chooses are for tall and willowy shapes, probably the body she thinks she has. Maybe that's why she ends up looking frumpy.
Her whole body is not proportionate. He legs look old and are shapeless. She should never wear shorts

The amazing thing with markle is that even when she wears the RIGHT silhouette, she does something wrong like its a size too small or the hair is messy or the fabric is WOOL in Cali or fine mesh in UK in November or a MASSIVE coat

Angelina is an example of monochrome and neutrals done right, so it looks classy instead of boring. I'm certain Meghan is following all the influencers who say "you will ALWAYS look expensive in neutrals" and "monochrome will make you look rich." Only if it's done right, and MM gets it wrong every time.

On top of MM’s appalling dress sense she needs to take some deportment classes to improve her walk and how she carries herself.
Yet, amazingly, she was a TV personality, so you'd think she had had some coaching in how to pose, or walk, or sit. The only thing I can think of, is that she was posed by a photographer for still shots (promos) and then told. "Don't you move a goddamn inch."

MM chooses clothing she sees modeled on a model with no thought to whether it would look flattering on herself. And order it too small. The delusion is stunning.
Well stated and now she’s try to dress like a 20 year old too! I agree her biggest pitfall is trying to dress in designer clothing she sees on the runway, in magazines on stars and models to just wearing designer clothes and not wearing cuts to fit her shape or skin tones (which is difficult since she spray tans darker never having the same color palette ). She’s her own worst enemy.

I have a similar body shape and I was in my late 20s when I finally worked out what worked for me. Bias cut dresses and skirts that fell just under the knee, jeans and pants that are slightly wider in the lower leg and 3/4 length sleeves always works. I do wear skinny jeans but usually with a top that sits over the waist, to balance me out. When I'm thin I have a waist but if I gain any weight, it's the first place it goes. I think you just need to find the right balance in your clothes and Meghan never does, her pants take up 2 thirds of her body. Angelina always looks great, I think Meghans ego is her problem and she thinks she looks great no matter what., and cosplays other people. She doesn't have her own style. .
the only thing that would look good on Meghan Markle is a straight jacket and a Hannibal Lector mask!

Angie owns her clothes, she buys them,keeps them impeccably tailored and then maintained to the point that her kids can rewear them. She tends to use natural fibres for casual I can’t wait to see her own clothing line.
i used to watch say yes to the dress and women would go in hell bent on a certain style that didnt suit their body… the few times they allowed the expert to pick something for their shape, they looked amazing… we all think we look a certain way in our head but youre right, we need to dress for out body type if we want to look good…
As a fellow biracial woman i would live for megahn markle to embrace her natural hair. I used to chemically straiten my hair for years and i let it go natural and curly and is so liberating, i just want to see her at least once with her natural hair, i know she has beautiful curls.

alp - I agree with you alp. Her hair is one of the worst things about her look. I don't know whether she wears wigs or extensions but, either way, her hair looks awful - greasy strands that separate, too much length and volume especially for a woman of her age and she appears to be balding because of the way she has tortured her hair for decades. She would look much better with her natural hair.
Her hair definitely looks quite unhealthy. This to me is tragic because, and I think at least for M a sign of her insecurity. IMO, natural is always the way to go. Not easy in a world that says, "this is what hair should look like". Takes confidence. I'm not sure M has that.

I actually love wide leg pants: I have the literal opposite body type as Nutmeg. I'm very narrow on top and long waisted. I have shorter legs so I wear them with heels. They look quite striking with a fitted top and elongate my legs. 😊

maybe meghan thinks if she puts a belt on it makes her waist look smaller, when in fact it just points a big arrow that says look how boxy i am.....meghan could have some type of body dysmorphia that makes her think she looks good in those clothes and can wear the same thing as Catherine and look just as good.
True. Those belts make her look wider snd thicker than she is. It's so strange. She MUST see something totally different than what everyone ELSE sees. It's just bizarre. She's so tiny, but makes herself look gigantic for some reason......just weird.

@@dede4004 She does appear to have lost a lot of weight and is definitely looking thinner in the arms and legs. Her problem is that, no matter how much weight she loses, she is still thick in the torso because that is her body type. She will lack a waist no matter how thin she is which means that she will always look thick and heavy in her torso, relative to the rest of her body. That's the main problem for her imo. I totally agree with you about those belts!! They don't help her AT ALL. The big jackets and belted pants, skirts and dresses simply amplify and bring attention to her rectangular shape. Don't know why she can't see it.

It is a mystery why Megan is so messy. With her money she can have everything tailored. She has access to every fashion professional to advise on how to best dress her body type. Maybe she is like a 5 year old who wants to wear what she wants to wear with no thought, and will have a tantrum if someone says no don't wear that!

I'd say that's probably right. The way she's been shown to treat people, I'm sure people just don't want the headache of dealing with her. She thinks she's fabulous and no one is going to tell her otherwise. Plus she thinks wearing multiple designer clothes instantly makes them look good, it doesn't. She makes everything look sloppy and messy. I can see why no brand wants to endorse her. Everything looks like a costume and never natural.
It seems that MM doesn’t have her clothes tailored so she can return the outfit to the store. It’s also been said that when MM wanted high end, designer clothes for free or heavily discounted, the fitters took revenge for the designer by not fitting her properly.
The narcissist always thinks they are the smartest person in the room, so it's no surprise that Meghan doesn't listen to anyone. She's doing herself a disservice though because a stylist who wants to make her look foolish can do so by just saying, "those crinkled wide legged pants look awesome on you". Meghan will agree and wear them. And bingo! a sloppy look is born.

Diana,Princess of Wales had enormous feet, long legs, boxy torso, no waist, ample bosom. But, she was tall (over5'10") and knew how to camouflage her unflattering parts.
Now, if you don't believe me, I proved my point. Just look at the "Swan Lake" dress. [Her figure is very defined]

Jennifer is 5’8”, curious as to Jennifer Anniston’s style at 5’5” which is closer to the Wife’s height. It’s encouraging to see style can be emulated no matter the size, but be realistic.

This was very refreshing & something Meghan could learn a lot from. I think Jennifer Garner has a bit of a straight torso too, but wears just the right clothes to give her more of a waist. The only thing I disagreed with you on was Gwyneth Paltro’s shorts outfit. I thought the shorts were too big, the boots were all wrong, the jacket button was too high. It was a fashion nightmare. I did also kind of really like Jennifer Garner’s voluminous skirt with sleek fitting top. Gave her more of a waist. Overall though, Beebs, totally spot on. Favorite look: Gwyneth Paltro’s striped red carpet look. Awesome lines! No pun intended! Can’t WAIT to see what Meghan wears this week!!! ♥️ Jessica

I love that you started with emphasizing body differences aren't "flaws". For many years I was ashamed that in-fashion clothing tended to look awful on me. I'm pretty much the opposite of a fashion model: long torso, short legs and plus size. I'm finding a lot of vintage looks work well for me. I love the side-by-side comparisons of Meghan's looks and celebrities' solutions for many of the same issues. I would like to see more of these. Anything that addresses how different body types can dress more flattering is super-useful.
I have pretty much the same body type (broad shoulders, longer thinner limbs etc) so your videos on Meghan are very interesting to me. I've worked much of it out for myself and don't understand why she just doesn't get it.
It seems as though M lacks class and sophistication and has no taste in clothes and that's why she is always a mess. Now Princess Catherine, she has class and always looks fantastic.
Is it possible she simply doesn’t care? Or is that not believable for Meghan?

Garner is the only one worth discussing . With all those funds available..they should /can take it up a step ! You can't hide it, it does not matter what you wear, you reveal your true inner self .

I wonder why she just doesn’t wear low waisted pants and dresses with a drop waist. It would not be a perfect solution…but at least it would be a simple improvement to make.

I feel like she maybe learned in the early ‘00s how to dress, just because we have pretty much the exact same body type, and I got the same advice, but just learned over time that it wasn’t great advice. But she just stuck with it maybe?

@@blazingstar9638it wouldn't matter whether markle was advised on the type of clothes that suit her body shape, she doesn't take advice from any one, expert or not. She just see something expensive and buys it and thinks because it is highly priced it will sit her. She was given a stylist when she first entered the Royal fold and told them no thank you I can dress myself. She thinks she knows best but it is obvious she doesn't.

As far as anyone thinking youre body shaming, they need to work out what that word means. Your advice has helped me immeasurably to feel and look more confident and beautiful in my body shape. I always thought there was only one way i could look to be beautiful, and i wasnt that. Youve helped me find my beauty within myself. Thank you!
