In a world of countless drone content creators, you stand out with your goofy, nerdy, and blunt commentary 😂 your timing is like that of a comedian! “Oh yeaaaaah, get out the birth control… hahaaaaaa, sexyyyy sexy.” every video of yours I have watched so far has me chuckling! Something kinda rare for my content consumption these days. You earned yourself another loyal subscriber 😊 thanks for the hard work you do sir!
man you made my week. i appreciate it. Gotta have fun & keep it light. We ain’t curing cancer here.
Love those trippy filters with the gold streaks. Cracking up over "slum sex" 🤣🤣 That pigeon footage is INSANE
"If you are watching this on a little smartphone right now, you are desd to me." 🤣 😅 This was so entertaining and enjoyable to watch. You are now my most favorite person on UA-cam 😀 keep up the good work.
Really Nice Amazing and Really Beautiful Drone! Stay Connected!😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗
ally Nice and Really Beautiful "FINALLY! Transform Your DRONE Footage [BTS!]" . Stay Connected!😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗
Dude, this is one of my favorites so far! Between talking Ansel Adams, the stunning bridge night shot, and the epic attack of the pigeons in 120p, you've got a real winner here! The b-roll on the street, the shots of the amazing graffiti, and the excellent cinematography advice is a huge bonus. Your fantastic editing work is greatly appreciated!
@beldavius - I couldn't agree more. 🤙
Brooklyn!!!!!!! The birds said if you want a show we'll give you a show.
definitely. Everyone in the NYC is a superstar.
Gangsta Pigeons. As crazy as it may seem, thats beautiful cinematography Bro ❤️
thanks buddy. You have any upcoming trips planned? Would love to see a follow up to your boat graveyard episode. Loved it.
Have a great New Years.
@@TedNemeth Got lots planned for the new year when the weather improves. I've also got some timelapse stuff I want to do but that will be months in the making. Demolition and regeneration stuff which I'm excited to shoot. How about you? When are you going on your travels?
Absolutely!
Great tips Ted. Never get tired of watching that daring pigeon scene.
Ted that bridge shot was awesome, but then came the slo mo of the birds. Man that was so cool. Great work!!!!!! LOVING THIS CHANNEL.
Awesome ted
Stunning video & photography
Happy New year to you 🍾🥂
Awesome video, excellent tips and beautiful shots
I totally sympathize and empathize with everybody in New York who is struggling in the winter storm. Here in Northern Canada we are better equipped and more accustomed to cold winter weather. I have made a couple of new videos. Thankyou Ted for all that you have taught and shared. I keep on learning and my family here and overseas continue to enjoy what I share!
Yo. You are inspiring. Best drone pilot teacher! Thank you.
This 1 was 1 of my favorite, between the bridge and the birds, I can't decide which one I like best.
Wowww, espectacular, mi like y mi suscripción, un saludo 👍👍👍
always looking yout videos in mi pc monitor or at least mi bigass tablet. super dope catching your knowledge! thanks!
the dedication is outstanding, keep it up these videos helps a lot for a beginner drone owner!!!!!!!
Very nice sir..thanks for sharing this video
Thank you my friend for sharing your wonderful photography techniques. I also wanted to try various things.🙂
Love this all the way through. Keep up the brilliant work Ted!
Steve I really appreciate that my friend. That was a playful episode. I’m still trying to figure out my….”voice/style” here on youtube and on camera.
Superb, Ted.

Great tips & fantastic footage Ted. Thank you 😊👍
many thanks good sir. That was a fun little episode.
Hi Ted 🙋♂ what would I give to be able to fly between the bridges there😍 incredible scenery👌 I think the anamorphic filters on the bridges are ok but a little too much....The night flight😮💨 OMG😳 These shots are worth their weight in gold . Stunning video my friend👌👌👌🙋♂
Woooow increíble !

Steve! I bow to your good graces. Many thanks for the membership! Welcome aboard sir. I love our little family here of flying filmmakers. I see you’re really into live rock & roll. Are you in one of the bands? One of my all time favorite bands is Rose Tattoo. And fav movies is Mad Max. I need to visit your country at some point. Especially now that I have a flying camera. That’s essential actually to capture such dramatic diverse landscapes like yours.
Happy new year Steve. Thank you again my friend.

hell yeah hell yes.
Not only do I like the tutorials you provide but the whole aesthetic. Music, stills, voiceover. So engaging. NYC is a place I’ve always wanted to revisit. If I do, my drone is coming along with this tutorial. Great job 👏🏻 👍🏻🇬🇧
Paul thanks for watching. Have a great New Year holiday. Let me know when you’re in NYC.
Those Brooklyn Pigeons giving your gal the "bird"!

@@TedNemeth - yes definitely Fuji at the moment - although I constantly think about simplifying to one full frame system - having a GFX and x system is great, but I’m always thinking which I want 🙄

Beautiful shots from the Brooklyn Bridge and THE city I once want to visit. I was surprised you can drone at these iconic sites.
Thank You so much Ted, You 'r the BEST👍, Albert Agaatsz from The Netherlands

Damn, so good 👍 Thanks, man 👌😎
I was just looking for dji mini 3 pro drone cinematic footage since I just bought one, can't wait for it to arrive, while waiting, now learning how to fly it. Then watched one of your videos then got hooked to your vlogs! Love your vlogs! Just relaxed ones, no hypes! ❤👏

hey buddy. Wow you caught that whale wash up at Rockaway. Did you hear about it and rush over there? Or were you just up flying and spot a beached whale? Yeah sad.
@@TedNemeth hi buddy, I watch the news the night before & the next morning I drop my daughter at school & when to see it, crazy how that happened
Spectacular shots topped off with gangster pigeons 😂👍
hey thanks Fernando! That was fun making that episode. Can I ask you….do you have any questions or topics you’d like me to cover in an upcoming episode?

Let me know if you have any questions. I’d love to help if I can.
Great informative video as always mate 👍
thank you buddy. Dude that cruise ship is bonkers. The scale of it I can’t imagine. I can’t imagine being the manufacturer. Building a product so big, so complex, so many fail points. Imagine the electrical schematic for that thing. I used to make small leather goods for clients. I was worried about quality control.
When that floating city of a boat was finished, the manufacturer tossed the keys to the new owner. “enjoy.” “if it idles a little high, just pump the gas petal.”
@@TedNemeth thanks man 👌I know right...pretty amazing seeing these in action arriving into port.
Your bridge shots were awesome, keep up the good work 😉
Nice one Ted, awesome shots and loved the pigeons 👌
Cheers Frank. Hey I loved the footage at sunset with the grandkids in the surf. Beautiful.
Thanks Ted 🙏
Great tips , thanks and Mery Xmas to you
mon ami! Great seeing you. Hope you’re well up there. Any new shots you going to post soon? You live in such a beautiful remote spot. And do important work.
@Ted Nemeth i will try soon , let's just say that for the time.being I'm taking care of me (I have been on sick leave since September)

The pigeons are the best shots! They are great
hey Jos. Thanks for watching buddy. Please let me know if you have any specific drone questions. I’d love to help if I can. Have a great New Years!
Ted, As a new drone enthusiast, I appreciate your style and keep it simple method cinematography. Truly bless also to see someone who tells it like it is, and loved grayscale imagery. Thanks for educating the noobs like me!
hey James. Thanks for the kind words my friend. You used the word “grayscale”. I’m guessing you have some strong experience with land-cameras?
@@TedNemeth Ted, just like term better, call me old fashioned, I like term Grayscale because we live in a world of light, and Black & White in photography are defined terms. We see shades of light and darkness, opposite of true 5K white or true black absence of light. Just term I grew up with.
The choice of music in your videos is always spot on! It's a pure pleasure to watch. I hope you gonna keep on creating content like this :)
Mick! I truly value your comment. I’m trying super hard to create a playful ….feeling to my goofy little tutorials. Growing on UA-cam is tough! But enjoying it. Thank you for the kind words.

I’m looking forward to getting my drone launched in the coming days. The UK weather has been true to form lately….dire. Lots of ideas to try. 😊
@@weaselinjeans1 - right on! It always feels amazing when winter lifts. I subscribed to your channel so I can see your posts. What is your first name?
@@TedNemeth Dominic 🙌🏼
Wow Ted..... this video is incredible, I think the best part of the video is the slow motion, being a simple shot you managed to create an incredible and risky video for the drone.
I have seen other tests on the anamorphic lens and I think that it is not a good lens for night or for very sunny days, because it creates those rays of light that in my opinion make you lose the shot and damage the entire plane.
I hope to one day achieve 1% of what you share and teach on your channel. If your time allowed it would be a great honor and pleasure to one day see a MasterClass from you.
Severino I appreciate you brother. Love your channel. I used to race off-road buggies many years ago. I still watch lots of it on YT. Glad I found your channel. Have a great safe New Years.
Wow the Brooklin Bridge shot is so beautiful! Quick question: is it ok to fly anywhere in NY or do you need special authorization? In Tokyo it’s a big no-no and quite a pain to be authorized….
Great video, 👍 , I really enjoyed it "
hey thank you my friend. wow your latest episode is stunning. that opening orbit shot in the fog is….perfection. You gotta be thrilled with that shot.

Jason thank you so much for the kind words my flying filmmaker friend. Please let me know if there’s a specific topic(s) you’d like me to cover in an upcoming episode. Love to help.
@@TedNemeth You've earned them Sir! Perhaps a video on the rendering settings for UA-cam Shorts using Adobe Premiere Pro(If you use that)... Or maybe you have already made it. Or maybe I shall make it. I ask because the recent "UA-cam Shorts" that I have posted to the UA-cam lose the high definition quality that I originally recorded it in once uploaded to the UA-cam and do not compare to other 4K videos. I'm still figuring it out...
@@JasonLavarias - hey Jason! I don’t use Premiere. That program is way too advanced for my needs. I currently use Lumafusion to edit, which I absolutely love. SUPER easy to use.
@@TedNemeth Hi Ted. Easy is good for sure!
I am dead to you, haha, guilty. I could watch your videos all day, and your shots are amazing. Fresh drone just arrived and will be moving into your mostly auto settings to concentrate on the cinematic composition of the shot ! Thanks so much again. You are truly gifted!
thanks Bobby. I truly appreciate it. Let me know if there’s a specific topic you’d like me to cover. BTW: I’m a newbie drummer. I love it. Still practicing my paradiddles.
Thank you for the great content Ted, also are the photos you took, (graffiti ones) with the Mini Pro? Just wondering if the capabilities for my workflow. Thanks for your time again
For us beginner's or intermediate or pro
I sold my mini 2 for a mini 3 Pro
Wish I had kept my mini 2 as i dont yous obstical avoidance any tracking type gimik
Got sucked into hype of mini 3 when mini 2 is a more robust drone camera for a novice looks same as the pro
In a ideal world I still think the active track etc is a waste of time
I do think if you try it like gavin you would soon get fed up
But have a go
I still miss the flights over humber with mini 2 to see if you could go shore to shore
But keep up the good work
John from barnsley
hey John! I have the Mini 2 and the Mini 3 Pro and I honestly fly the Mini 2 more. It’s the same 4k and it’s just a little more….relaxing for some reason flying the Mini 2. Kinda like an old beater motorcycle is always more fun to ride and bash around.
how come its taken me two years to discover your channel? awesome.
yyyyyyeeeeeeeaaaahhhh brother! Welcome aboard sir. You are now part of the FLYING CAMERA CREW.
While interesting, not a fan of the anamorphic filter...maybe there is a use case for it...but, haven't seen one yet. Great shots and helpful walk through of your thought processes!
super great to know you got some value from my goofy tutorials. Wow your dramatic winter drone shots in Oregon look really beautiful. Such dramatic scenery really needs a flying camera. Stay warm and have a great New Years!
Awesome video! I love you tips. Question for you. at the 6:55 mark when you take the still hovering over the bridge did you keep the settings at 24 fps? Would bumping it up to 60 eliminate that motion blur from the passing boat and make the boat clear?
hey Jay. Many thanks for watching and being part of the channel.
You nailed it. A higher frame rate should give less motion blur and more frames to choose from. The technique of pulling still images from a video is called a “frame grab”.
I do it pretty much entirely for my photos. I SHOULD stop recording, switch to photo then take a picture then go back to video and start recording again. But i don’t. I know if I’m going to pull a photo from that scene I just make sure the drone isn’t moving for a few seconds. I go into it a little deeper in this episode:
ua-cam.com/video/_Tm8gGs1-9Q/v-deo.html
@@TedNemeth Yea I have a habit of frame grabbing too. Sometimes it's just easier and that way the video keeps flowing
Great video as always. Did anyone else notice the New York rat sneaking into the frame at 4.26?
Chris thank you for watching my friend.
Your a brave man going to a place were you can get robbed or killed, but i like your channel, great tips
thank you for watching my friend. I spent 25 years living in NYC and never once had any crime happen. Fortunately. But now I love the west coast and tropical locations. Your Fish Creek Mtn shots are outstanding. Definitely doesn’t look like Brooklyn. Have a beautiful New Years!
Cool stuff; I need to dust off my mavic and go fly !
ha right on Brad. Spring time is here.
Great tips and cinema shots Ted. Thanks for sharing.
A quick question or suggestion perhaps(?) I'm wondering if adding a bright light to your drone (even in daylight) would keep them pigeons farther away from your drone. I don't have the quantity in my area to test this, but I'm just putting the idea out there etc. Maybe someone else in here tried it.
Anyways, thanks again Ted.
hey Serge! I’m not sure about the light idea. I always try to keep my distance from wildlife and just crop in during editing. In that brooklyn episode they started flying away when I would like 30 feet away.
I was going to leave when they started doing the power laps around my drone. So you’re up in Canada?
Great video. Expect tat you are ok after the blizzard? Did you go out with the drone for snow footage?
hey my friend! Thanks for watching. We didn’t get any snow here. Looking forward to that. As long as its mild. Where are you located?
@@TedNemeth : France
So I have been watching your drone tips a lot. And what I noticed is that the way you post process the footage in a way the colours get little intense, and look a lot like art photography, less contrast etc. Could you make a tutorial about that? taking away colours, creating it in a way it feels like "mat" colour? I really love it
hey Gary! Many thanks for watching and your support. I truly appreciate it. My color grading skills are truly beginner level. I primarily use only 3 adjustments: gamma, saturation & warmth.
I usually add gamma (darken), then de-saturate slightly, then add a little warmth. That’s it. When you get your exposure correct while recording, you don’t need to be a master color grading expert.
I literally do everything by trial & error when color grading.
I use Lumafusion to edit my videos.
I will definitely do a full editing & color grade episode.
Welcome to the FLYING CAMERA CREW!
@@TedNemeth Would love to know what values. Just played around with the gamma, warmth and saturation (Davinci Resolve) and felt like I went in some way, but compared to your footage I'd like to know how you set them (if you'd like to share) ;-)

@@TedNemeth thank you for taking the time to respond to me! And Thank you for allowing me to be apart of your FLYING CAMERA CREW !!! .. Im so glad I found your videos I never flew a drone before (I have had a mini 3 pro since November and haven't had it in the air yet, it actually might happen today) and never used a camera out of auto mode or edited photos or videos before, so this is all new to me! And very scary at the same time .. the reason I'm getting into drone cinematography I'm 63 and need something fun to do for $$$ .. Thank you again for your videos and responding back!!!
Ted, awesome video! First episode of yours I've seen, and now a happy subscriber. Q: What mitigating maneuvers would you have done with the RC in the event that a pigeon collided with your drone? Q: May I ask you please about adding music to videos; this seems to be the biggest hurdle I face putting out videos. Do you subscribe to a music service? Your works incorporate great music and editing! Jealous.
thank you for the kind words my flying filmmaker friend. I’ve never had a bird hit the drone fortunately. I’m not sure you can do anything to prevent a crash? I assume if there’s no damage the drone would level itself and resume hovering? good question.
Yeah music is super important to enhance the emotions of a scene. I subscribe to Epidemic Sound. I love it. But i see many creators use MusicBed and ArtList. I’m sure they’re all good.
Welcome aboard sir!
@@TedNemeth Oh man, you just made my day/month/year! Many thanks for the reply, my flying filmmaker teacher.
*The location between the two bridges had such good subject matter. **5:32** questionable subject matter. **6:36** nice. Birds....I don't mess with birds. How do you send the drone up of a night when it works you that it's too dark?
Ok Ted, so how did you pull off that amazing overhead night shot where the cars on the bridge appear to be moving in slow motion but the boats seem to be hyperlapsing...or is it just me? Mesmerizing!!
hey John! thanks for watching. Yeah the traffic was moving very slow because of rush hour. And that water taxi boat was moving particularly fast. No editing manipulation.
I loved your egret tree shot. I had to search to see what country that park is located. NEW JERSEY? …by Atlantic City? Wow. I had no idea. I loved looking at the website for that national park.

My lady is in my sleeping bag with me tonight. Thanks Ted
Did I missed something? Regarding official Mini 3 specification list, there is no possibility to shoot 120 FPS at any resolution, how did you do this?
4K: 3840×2160@24/25/30 fps
2.7K: 2720×1530@24/25/30/48/50/60 fps
FHD: 1920×1080@24/25/30/48/50/60 fps
HDR: Recording with the 24/25/30fps frame rate supports outputting HDR images.
You are able to shoot 120 FPS with Mini 3 PRO version only: Slow Motion: 1920×1080@120fps
I am completely terrified of a bird crashing into my drone and here you are taunting them lol
