I would consider this probably your most significant video to date. This is in the heartland of creativity and filmmaking. Your analysis of the component parts is so profound & clearly articulated. You have taught us many techniques over the last few years, and now this brings it together on basis of us putting in the ongoing work. No one covers this elusive stuff. Bravo Ted

Thank you for dispelling with the myth that simply adding drone footage makes a thing better. This can't be said loud enough. I appreciate how you delivered this message without it being condescending.

In this episode, I feel like we (your subscribers, as a group), have followed a global training program altogether up to that point, and finally pushed away the introduction about gear, mindset to develop, direction to follow and false problems when filming. We are now chewing the heart of the filmmaking process, and the creativity methodology. On my drone channel, I constantly try to keep in mind your mantra about this….
Keep up your good work, super useful ! 🙏👍

You’re a legend Ted, love the tips and you’re so right, practising more frequently generates more opportunities for reflection and learning. Will also jump on that masterclass. Not only is it really decent of you for the low price so it’s accessible to many but the way you represented your sponsor and thinking of your audience just demonstrates not only that you know exactly how to reach your audience like you tell us, but proves how genuine you are. Thank you Ted, looking forward to your next masterpiece!

@@TedNemeth Ted, it shows. Your body language, your words, and the speed of speech show that excitement. I hope you can see how much better your videos are when you leave the cursing out and when you stay outside the city limits of frustrationville. I know UA-cam is frustrating and unfair. They promote videos of idiots so they get 10 million views. Videos like yours that are engaging and thoughtful and helpful will be squashed by UA-cam. UA-cam has not been about engagement and value-added for several years now. I wish I had better news that this, but just know as long as you have videos like this, your core audience will remain and grow, but not to astronomical numbers unless you sell out.

This is a great place to start. One question: You noted no music in the "rough cut" but later noted, choosing a song as part of the rough-cut steps. By 'choosing', so you mean, do not drop them in the timeline just, yet as part of the rough cut but just locate the music you might want to use?

I really like the channel. Your approach to shooting cinematic footage is refreshing. Quick question for you or any of your followers. I have a Mini 3 Pro with the DJI RC remote (with screen). After shooting my videos, I would like to preview them using the iPhone DJI Fly app or the DJI LightCut app. However, for some reason I can't preview any of the footage. I can see the thumbnails, but I have to download the videos to the phone or iPad before I can see what I shot. And to download, I have to turn off cellular. Has anyone else had problems with previewing directly from the drone? If so, how did you solve it?

I think this is my 5th video i have watched of yours. I was mainly trying to get tips on lighting, ND Filters, Best Drone, what gear do i need, Color Grading. I was heading down that same Rabbit hole so many go into. More worried about the shutter speed with the right ND filter. Not paying attention to what i was filming. Back of my mind I'm thinking can i color grade this? Is all this stress worth it on trying to get the right "Cinematic Shot" without just going out and have fun. Thank you, I'm going to try your tips, and see where it leads me. I have a Air 2s and the mini 2. I'm also getting my Part 107 License next month. It's the video i was never looking for, that has given me the most tips.
