Thanks. Worked perfectly on my '08 Sequoia Platinum. We put so few miles on this that it's only the second time I've needed to do this since we bought it in Aug '18, and couldn't remember the procedure. It's either that, or I'm getting old. Probably the latter. 😜

Thanks for the video just out of curiosity, we have 29859 miles on our 2016 Toyota Sequoia. And my wife pounted out to my attention that the car don’t drive faster like she was used to. I test drive it around blocks in the neighborhood and I was able to confirm it doesn’t accelerate. as fast as it used to.
Question for this chat. Is there any kind of software limitation that’ll kick in preventing the driver to speed up, until the required maintenance light is reset?
Just out of curiosity.

No there is no software that’s preventing sequoia from accelerating. It could be oil is to old and changed. Lower pressure in tires can have an effect. Clogged up air filter can be a reason. Bad fuel is also can cause.

On the 2007 Sequoia, process is the same but you have to be on the ODO setting and not the trip meters. Thanks
