WPL B16 gets separate driveshafts for rear axles

I modified my WPL B16 with separate driveshafts for the two rear axles. The difference in crawling and climbing ability is stunning when each rear axle gets direct power instead of having power to both axles delivered through the center axle. This video shows, I hope, the difference and how the conversion is made.

It's a very good idea, you had to think about it. In the end, this gives a power in each axle which is constant, I'm even surprised by the performance it brings to the truck. Bravo for this work 👌

So the new drives haft setup permits improved axle articulation? Is this why the performance has improved so dramatically?
The shots amongst the Autumnal leaves are very beautiful - and the way the truck makes its way up the stream bed is tremendously impressive!

The improvement with the new drive axles is surprising. Likely, as you say, the axles can move more freely when each has its own power supply and both receive the same amount of power. 😊😊
