    Very informative. I just got all the parts for my c-14 kit. 370/2speed, portals, metal links, and aluminum bead locks

      Am sure that would be a great build and be careful also with the portal axle its really brittle.

    What a great presentation. Could you tell me the inside and outside dimensions of the plastic spacer and the width so I can install a bearing instead?

      Same bearing for the straight metal axle upgrade. I will find in my pirchase history then I will comment here the dimension.

    @MORRIS RC please keep up posted on the durability of these, I’m wondering how the plastic housing parts will hold up…

      Ok bro, now I am observing the one who hold the steering cups or the portal coz it is very thin. Hope it will last and hope RBR/C will release soon the metal case.

    Right on time I just bought them. Very informative review. Cant wait to get them portals.
    I'm new at this my first car. Made a lot of flex on my C24-1 with HengLong shocks by placing them at 30 degree. But they a bit too fat and steering touches fenders and springs slightly. Hope portal will help with widening and lowering.
    p.s.
    (How do you solve wobbling links where they affect steering? cant find ANY video on youtube. When driving forward steering is fine. But when driving backward and turning wobbling links causes entire axle to shift and wheels turn more because of friction of tires and touching fenders. How do you make suspension more tight? What links do you use? any help plz)

      Hi I had this problem then I put some adjustable links in and found the perfect spot for the it not to touch the fender on the c14 and c24. also my esc smoked in 3 days on my c24 you can get them online fo for £5 so keep an eye out for smoke on the rtr
      Also getting my wpl c24 ready for c1 tournament and a wpl c14 for the c2 tournament thinking of trying these out mybe give me an edges lol gl

    hi, thanks for the video,I have these axles on MN99s, when riding straight I have no problem, but big problems when steering - left or right - BIG vibrations in the portal boxes and jerky move of the front wheels :( dont know what is wrong, its frustrating :( I checked the bearings and pins, everything seems to be ok. do you have the idea what is wrong? thank you very much.

    Nice video. Watched with interest. Just some thoughts: why not use bearings instead of bushings. I was actually surprised to see brass bushings on the shaft with everything else metal. Is the case plastic? Not easy to see from the video.

    • @morrisrc
      @morrisrc  3 роки тому +1

      Yes sir the axle case is plastic. I am also worried the one who hold the portal is very thin. Hope RBR/C will release metal case for this portal axle.
