Trollerkins God damn it. Where did the time go? The time when this game was humble and pure? I remember this game when it was small. I would play it because it was just a simple game where you placed blocks and built stuff. It was calming, sometimes I would fall asleep during late sessions. I made a few good friends on this game. Sadly, I abandoned this game a few months ago because the fan base got cancerous. I might play it again, just to let the good times roll just one more time.

Me, my bff, and her brother grew up playing this together. During sleepovers, we stayed up the whole night playing Minecraft. Then, during our breaks, i would play Wet Hands on their piano. This brings back so many memories. Im now on a mission to be able to play the whole Minecraft soundtrack, no matter how difficult it is. The nostalgia is real as well. I tear up sometimes playing these songs... Heres a message for C418 - Thank you for making my childhood a memorable one. Your songs are like magic, full of solitude and purity. I dont know how you composed such simplicity, but you are wonderful at what you do. Thank you so much. I firmly believe that Minecraft would not be the same peaceful, adventurous game without your music.
I mean, it's also very beautiful in game, especially when you come out of a little house you built, with a sunset, wondering about what you will build and create next...
Tommy - 23r10 I liked it a ton when I first started playing. I think it was 1.2.5 beta, or somewhere around there. I liked when I wasn't bored of single player and when my brother showed me a type of "tutorial" map. The good ol' days of Minecraft. The best days. And then, I started multiplayer. That was still really fun. Then, suddenly, it all fell apart. I just didn't enjoy it as much. That's when I moved on to modpacks. I still enjoy them to this day, especially the older ones, like FTB Retro.
Walker the Hyena Yeah. I remember when I was a little girl playing the Minecraft demo on my grandma’s laptop, and I was so ecstatic when I found out I was getting Minecraft for Christmas along with my own little laptop. It could barely run the game but I was so content and happy, I could stay up so late (late was about 11pm-12am) and just build or get lost in a mine. The game was my childhood and most other girls in my school think I’m weird because I didn’t grow up with dollhouses and stuffed animals, and because I love gaming as much as I do. It’s painful to feel so nostalgic and try to go back to the game just to find that the magic isn’t there anymore. Funny how these soundtracks used to make me feel so lonely when I was playing the game, and I felt so sorry for my player, being trapped in a blocky world all alone, but now it warms my heart and takes me back to when times were more simple. This game was and always will be dear to me, no matter what anyone says about it.
I recently lost a friend, and listening to this has brought back so many memories, it kind of made me feel like even though they’re gone, the good times are still and always will be there. This game isn’t just a game anymore, for it is a way of peace of mind. Thank you Mojang for the wonderful memories that have been made.
this song reminds me of all the good times I had. all the friends I’ve made. all the friends I’ve lost. the houses I’ve made. the battles I’ve won. the times when I died. the worlds that are gone. the items I crafted. the arrows I shot. these memories are good. but they’re all I got. I remember the times. when I punched my first tree. I created so much. I’ve never felt more free. I remember the time. when I found my first mineshaft. I felt so happy. when I was playing minecraft. Time has passed. since I played as Steve. all those memories. they’re so hard to believe. I remember the time. when I first crafted diamond armor. but now looking at the game. things are looking poorer. I remember the time. I enchanted my first chestplate. protection IV. I never met my fate. hearing this song. I feel super nostalgic. just one note. I swear to god it’s magic. somehow fortnite got popular. and minecraft got rekt. I miss the past. F to pay respects.
My girlfriend and I have been together for six years now. Some of my best memories with her come from playing this game with her. It's just a game, but there is truly something beautiful and intimate about cooperating and sharing ideas to build a world together.
HOLY FREAKING HECK... im practically being abused by the nostalgia right now. I remember when I was way younger, and the game had just recently came out... i was in elementary, and all the kids were talking about it. Because of its new populatity, i begged my parents every night at dinner for it, until one night it happened. I remember excitedly getting on my dads computer he let me use, and i tried out a new survival world, having abosultely no idea what to expect- i only knew there were blocks. I remember being scared of creepers for the first time, being supprised when a tall purple thing took a block from my small wood hut without a roof, and fighting spiders with my bare fists. Those days were so exciting for me, i built a dream house, a hotel, and heck, even more. But now i've pretty much outgrown it, and I never feel that whole vibe like i did the first time anymore when i decide to play it. Wow, i just made a lengthy emotional (for me) paragraph about a game with blocks. Didnt think id ever do that. But this song just really hit me right there, ya know? I felt like i had to.
when i first time play survival mode, i always make a cave or dig underground and block the exit until morning because i dont know anything about the game that time. now i know a lot about minecraft. ahhhh............ the old memories
I ran out of good things to build ages ago, but every once in a while I'll break out my old 360 and play for 13 hours straight, just running on nostalgia.
Me walks in on son playing games: watcha playing Him: oh you won’t know go away Me: cmon tell me what are you playing Him: minecraft Me: *tears up* I will be right back Him: ok dad Me: *unplugs his ps69 and plugs in my ps4* *Logs into old account* Him: dad that console is so old Me: I know but here play this * logs son into old survival game with 2 dogs a farm etc etc...* Him: I love you dad we can game any time now I know your a og gamer
Why is Minecraft music so beautiful. I don't listen to the soundtrack because it is so.....sad...like it makes me feel empty inside, like I'm lost in beautiful nature. Beautiful, but still lost without hope of ever getting back home.
Damn this was so nostalgic. I remember one time I was on a hypixel lobby and I met this awesome person from Germany and it was really fun trying to explain what Christmas was to him when I was 8 years old. He stopped coming online sadly );
@@ccggccggggccggcc he recorded his playing to midi which is then played in Synthesia. So it was played by somebody. Otherwise it wouldn't have sounded this good. The audio is from his piano, not Synthesia. The person playing is Toby Brand. You can see it in his channel.

Bro this is like so many memories coming back. I seen people saying about this happening (but never felt it) I feel like crying. I met so many friends on mc on the xbox 360 that I don't know anymore. I remember being scared about harrobrine. I remember the countless worlds. The creative experience building things. I don't like that I played it so long ago (like when I was 6 to 7) cause it just makes it harder to remember. Thank you Mario.
Ah the memories.. I was so in love with minecraft.. my cousin's and I would play together all the time. One of my best memories... now that we've all grown older, we don't talk anymore and never played minecraft again... I don't play minecraft anymore because it pains me. My cousin's are 3 years older than me. They're figuring out their future and college while I'm still stuck back in time. Being a kid was fun. Real life hit me hard.
me too when i was first played this game with my brother, and my cousins almost every day, i got a lot of good memories. same as you now my brother and cousins figuring their future and they dont want to play minecraft with me anymore, except one of my cousins. we always talk about the old days when we played minecraft so much with others....... now that memories can only played in my mind.... feels like my mind is like a cinema where i played my memories..... i will give anything to go back in time and played with them again... the game may cheap for some people......... but...... the memories are forever..
To people entering the comment section: WARNING There's a rule I have made --> Never read the comment section on Minecraft soundtracks or piano tutorials. You'd expect memes or jokes but NO. It's a sad little depressing place where people talk about their faded childhood. But sometimes there's a little joy in remembering the times you first discovered the game, you were scared of all the mobs and dug a hole in the ground at night, punched trees for hours, built little houses and such. So I'm just telling you, this is a feels section.
The comments are making me feel so nostalgic I remember when I was nine and I met this girl called Nicole and we would always play Minecraft and happy wars together. Sadly, she stopped coming online and she's moved on from me. Good times though :)
TheOreo Cookie Its good feelings or memories from the past. Sometimes when you do stuff or listen to stuff while getting great memories from the past. You feel something called Nostalgia
The beauty of this song intensifies when people don't know it. It's beautiful. It reminds me of the rising dawn coming until the even more beautiful sunset.
that feeling you get when you see the friend you used to play minecraft with doing a line of coke and realizing how much innocence you've lost through the course of the years
The last notes being played at the end make this piece of art more sad, because of the reverb making it sound as if the music is fading away and it brings tears to my eyes…
The minecraft community ruined what beauty minecraft had, it's not just blocks or updates or new features..... it's the feel for the whole game without thinking about all the other things people made to distort it's true feel, When you take a step back and just play the game without ever thinking about the cringe people put together to ruin minecraft's true nature.... you really start to appreciate what notch, jeb... no... Mojang did to make such a wonderful and beautiful game, it has it's thrills, it has it's frustrations, it has it's adrenaline rush filled moments of digging down into the depths of the world to find your very first diamonds without needing to spoil the moment with creative mode, but i'm not saying that using creative mode is bad, but it takes away that satisfactory of actually reaching a very difficult goal through all the harsh frustration, and in the end, it's all so much more worth it, i absolutely loved it when i tried it for the first time, and when i got my first successful diamond run, It was like i felt my inner child ready to jump out in excitement to reach up and say DIAMONDS!!!!! :D So take a moment to appreciate what beautiful creation that mojang and 4J studios put together for us, because in moments like these, all you have to say is....... "That'll do" btw~ reading this while listening helps :3
I can't tell if these songs are buried in my subconscious, and now I'm finally digging them up, or these songs are just naturally nostalgic whether or not you've played Minecraft before.
Suburashi Honestly, that made me laugh for some reason. Better to laugh at this and forget the past for a few seconds than be depressed that I can't go back.
There are dozens of Minecraft soundtrack, each one really beautiful and giving so much nostalgia even if you haven't played the game. Just look it up on youtube if you want (to cry)
Robil Oswin Oswold how are you not a big fan of minecraft? Wait... if you watched this, then you are a fan of minecraft, HAH, you were exposed. Just kidding, but seriously, minecraft is the greatest game ever (debatable ).
I was younge at the time, I now wish I savored this moment. Years ago, clueless about the world of minecraft but it spiked my interest. I remember going to my neighbors house, someone who I continued to grow up with for many years, with countless memories. But we split separate ways. I remember the times sitting next to each other on the xbox 360, creating and replaying the world as we go
It's been 5 years since this video came out. The memories we had. The lives we had. The joy we had. This brings you back to those good times when it was peaceful, It releases all the negative feelings and relaxes you. You're at peace with this song, So whenever.. and wherever you are. Just know no matter what you do, why you do it and what for it, I will always accept you for the person you are. It's okay to feel sad, It's okay to feel angry. No matter the situation there's always someone looking over you, There's always someone who loves and cares for you. Rest now and be at peace my friend.
A wave of nostalgia just hit This Reminds me of watching the sunset from my dirt hut on the first night and I know it’s just a bunch of squares but that shit breathtaking yo
**your sitting on your bed, with you old HP Laptop at 3:45am while your family is asleep.** **cars pass by, you hear your cat outside of your door, you let him/her in.** **you fall asleep to the beautiful music, with your cat by your side to help you through the night** **you wake up the next morning, and finish building the mansion you swore to your friend you would. **you and your friend finish, feeling accomplished and proud.** **what the both of you didn’t know is, that was the final time you were on until today, where you are, sitting and having tears of joy thinking of these exact memories, through this mesmerizing song.**
Remember when Minecraft was about exploring and building everything that came to your imagination, and not about kids screeching and calling each other noobs? Yeah... We didn't know what we had coming... Haha.
Flamingles Minecraft is still about, nine year olds aren’t the only community, what you’re talking about is the competitive community that plays on servers, you do realise it’s not some rare thing for people to just casually play in a survival world together
Minecraft is still good, and it saddens me that I need to reply to these comments that blinded by the fact that anything that’s nostalgic has now been ruined
I'd give up creative mode forever if i could just go back and experience those good old days when Minecraft came out for xb360. Just for one day I wish I could have it back again
I know this comment wont be seen by many but i remember when i first found minecraft almost a decade ago and i was a 9 year old kid who just moved from my old school. My new neighbor introduced me to the game and i thought it was cool. Soon after that i remember I’d play the demo time after time until i finally got the full game. To this day i still remember my first world and the base i made. Im not sure how but i do. It was an under ground base with stone brick floors and slabs. I really miss being a kid sometimes :(.
I remember playing Minecraft of my brother’s old 360, we’d always play together, he was 8 years older than me but we’d still talk and act like best friends, because we were. We’d crack jokes just playing and building in the old 2010 Minecraft, without all the stupid updates and such. Our world was called “Worldbuscus” because we’d always watch tobuscus together, and we’d fight through the nether and build amazing mansions and castles, we’d play until my mom called us for dinner and we’d talk about building ideas through bites of food, I remember me making a joke about making a big penis as a watch tower and we spat out our food (I was 6 he was 14) My brother is now engaged and lives in his own apartment, I spend the night with him from time-to-time but I haven’t seen him that much, it’s his last year of college and is about to graduate And I’m in high school and doing the best I can to get through, I like to look back on those times and remember all the good times me and my brother had, always cherish your family and stay a kid at heart, always
Man, I just graduated high school, and I miss those days. I remember I was at a library. Couldn’t have been more than 12 or 13. Some kid was playing a game on one of the computers and it caught my eye. I remember what I saw: a lava survival world on the Minecraft classic servers. I asked the kid what the game was, and he said it was Minecraft. I went home and urged my parents to let me get it. They said no and I instead asked my grandma. She bought it for me in a heartbeat. I played and played that game. It was about 2012-2013 and I had a younger brother who was 10 months younger than me. We’d do the same thing. He bought Minecraft, and we’d play all day on servers and on our own worlds and then talked about it all day when we weren’t playing. Now I’m graduated, and starting my life, and I long for these days. I wish I could relive them again. This game made my childhood.
Theres so many memories behind MC Beta itself, Its when the TRUE Mc players played, the ones that by now are either a Master Builder, A Moderate Sized youtuber, or Just got bored of it Minecraft was a game about Experience, either if its Beating the dragon or Building a Mansion, Now its about Griefing and Roleplayers. Like if your a beta player. (Im not saying your not a real player if your not Beta, But its mainly the older players that have good stories)
you know what. i first played this game at 2012 i think in PE and i mean im not the oldest player or the first player to play minecraft but im felling like i was. this game gives e a lot of memories! and help me to shape my personality. like if u agreed
Eklyptic Triple 7 I first started playing in extremely early, before hunger, when chests took up a whole block with their texture, before their opening animation, before sprinting, etc. That was the golden age of Minecraft in my opinion. I remember having a sizeable brick house with a little waterfall in the back, trying to grow trees right next to my house, and have a display case for 1 singular wheat seed, not knowing when I could harvest it. And then when I had a small house, I'd excitedly show my sister, and then I eventually made the floor out of blue wool. I also remember another time when I went mining, I found diamonds. Only problem was, I had just recently broken my pickaxe, and I started getting frustrated. I had to dig to the surface using my hands to get wood for a pickaxe, eventually leading me to an iron pickaxe. That had to have been the worst experience I had had in that time, other than the time I died and lost my house because I thought that sleeping in a bed with blocks above it was a good idea. I also had another house, extremely slim, (5 blocks wide, 3 blocks of space in the house) but I made it long. I added story after story, and it got ridiculously tall. The golden age, I'm telling you. The golden age.
I started playing Minecraft when it was still in Alpha, but I only played Classic mode until just before The Adventure Update came out. I remember it being the greatest thing ever when they added the ability to play older versions of the game. I probably spent about six months total playing exclusively Alpha 1.1.2, re-creating my favorite moments from Coe's Quest and PaulSoarsJr. It's a shame Minecraft has turned more and more into that cringy game that only spoiled 7-year-olds play, but at least we can still go back and play the game we enjoyed.
i got my first experience in 2011 when my friend Clayton turned on his Xbox to show me his new game, years later i have hundreds of hours in a game I haven't played in 2-3 years, but damn this hurts. it reminds me of the kid I was and the experiences that turned me into the person I am today. I got the game on my computer a couple weeks later after he showed me it, this was around the time my parents fought a lot, and the game was almost a sanctuary to get away from the hostility that was my childhood back then. looking back about the shit i went through at 7-8 years old im crying for the times that game was there for me more than my parents even where. Thank you minecraft, thank you mojang, thank you to everyone who made such a horrible time in my life better, thank you.
Creeper Guy the good times. I started playing back in 2011 when MCPE still had those nostalgic start menu's. When skins couldn't be changed in MCPE. When I had no clue how to install mods. I still play the game, but it will never be the same as when it first started.
I remember in 2012, I made a 17 story hotel with different blocks like wool and cobble for each floor. I made a school and etc. That computer broke and it had been lost. The name was “My World” and I had like 15 other “My Worlds”. Each world I made was distinct and devoid of any influence by media. It was all creativity, that had been locked away as Minecraft constantly is outshone by other games. Each update creates a substantial impact on how someone perceives the game. Soon after 2011 or so, PvP became more popular each coming year and most servers base their games on PvP. 2019, a year where PvP and other Competitive games shine, yet originating in a game that solely based on creativity,
I still have a lot of my old creations and builds, and even if I don’t like them now I still love them for the memories I have of them and for the fact that I wouldn’t be who I am now without them
The nostalgia. The game was so relaxing back then. Kids didn't ruin the servers it was just people cooperating and contributing little by little to achieve a larger goal. Staring at the virtual and endless horizon as the sun sank past the faintly curved line and the approach and allure of night coming with these peaceful sounds. You could build what you felt like building, a giant mansion with complex bends, or a simple tower. Your imagination let you drift endlessly and you lay relaxed in your chair just enjoying the calming sound of the piano. No distractions. Just you and the world. A virtual reality where nothing matters and you can build what your heart desires. That is the beauty of the old minecraft.
And new Minecraft can't deliver that or what?If anything you should take a look at Hermitcraft. It is basically what you described just now.Of course an unmoderated server will just turn into a shitfest but I have seen some nice public survival servers.

I remember when my friend showed Minecraft to me a few years back. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. A game where you could build anything you want, with no limitations. Then she showed me Stampylonghead. That was the first thing I ever watched on UA-cam. The first video that I watched, was while Stampy was building the Hotel Of Dreams. I still go back to those videos for the nostalgia. But now, I've gotten into all of Markiplier, Jacksepticeye, PewdiePie, all of the super popular things on UA-cam. Ahh, this video reminded me of the good ol' times before I had a dirty mind..... the worlds that are gone.
the items I crafted.
the arrows I shot.
these memories are good.
but they’re all I got.

**Sniffs** "No, my eyes are just sweaty"
when i first time play survival mode, i always make a cave or dig underground and block the exit until morning because i dont know anything about the game that time. now i know a lot about minecraft. ahhhh............ the old memories
You should start modding it. Grown adults still play minecraft because of the mods. Brings so much flavor into the game.
I ran out of good things to build ages ago, but every once in a while I'll break out my old 360 and play for 13 hours straight, just running on nostalgia.

"That'll do"

I remember playing Minecraft of my brother’s old 360, we’d always play together, he was 8 years older than me but we’d still talk and act like best friends, because we were. We’d crack jokes just playing and building in the old 2010 Minecraft, without all the stupid updates and such. Our world was called “Worldbuscus” because we’d always watch tobuscus together, and we’d fight through the nether and build amazing mansions and castles, we’d play until my mom called us for dinner and we’d talk about building ideas through bites of food, I remember me making a joke about making a big penis as a watch tower and we spat out our food (I was 6 he was 14)
My brother is now engaged and lives in his own apartment, I spend the night with him from time-to-time but I haven’t seen him that much, it’s his last year of college and is about to graduate
And I’m in high school and doing the best I can to get through, I like to look back on those times and remember all the good times me and my brother had, always cherish your family and stay a kid at heart, always

MAN... this brings so much memories hearing this back!
in my time capsule i made sure to put in listening to nostalgic minecraft music
Theres so many memories behind MC Beta itself, Its when the TRUE Mc players played, the ones that by now are either a Master Builder, A Moderate Sized youtuber, or Just got bored of it
Minecraft was a game about Experience, either if its Beating the dragon or Building a Mansion, Now its about Griefing and Roleplayers.
And i thought me playing since 1.4 was a long time.
i got my first experience in 2011 when my friend Clayton turned on his Xbox to show me his new game, years later i have hundreds of hours in a game I haven't played in 2-3 years, but damn this hurts. it reminds me of the kid I was and the experiences that turned me into the person I am today.
I’m so happy Minecraft is still going. The most joy, happiness & sadness has been brought from this beautiful game❤️

welcome to the nostalgia cafetería 😉.
and if you're from the PvP comunity:
you're not allowed.
Creeper Guy the good times. I started playing back in 2011 when MCPE still had those nostalgic start menu's. When skins couldn't be changed in MCPE. When I had no clue how to install mods. I still play the game, but it will never be the same as when it first started.
If we could just turn it back to Alpha and forget all that had happened... Then we could be amazed again.
started in 2011. I miss the times when it was simple and no cringe like the parodies and pvp
I started in Dec 4, 2012
I started November 2013
I remember in 2012, I made a 17 story hotel with different blocks like wool and cobble for each floor. I made a school and etc. That computer broke and it had been lost. The name was “My World” and I had like 15 other “My Worlds”. Each world I made was distinct and devoid of any influence by media. It was all creativity, that had been locked away as Minecraft constantly is outshone by other games. Each update creates a substantial impact on how someone perceives the game. Soon after 2011 or so, PvP became more popular each coming year and most servers base their games on PvP. 2019, a year where PvP and other Competitive games shine, yet originating in a game that solely based on creativity,
Oh,my,
I still have a lot of my old creations and builds, and even if I don’t like them now I still love them for the memories I have of them and for the fact that I wouldn’t be who I am now without them
I can hear my childhood in this music
*sheds tear*
and it's beautiful.

You're welcome.

(Edit: woah. i have never gotten this many like before. seriously tho, all i did was explain my backstory with minecraft and youtube. why did you like this?
Frisk Pacifist, yep, those were the good old days, I remember watching stampy when he was doing all that halo stuff, then he started a new channel and began playing minecraft, I was there from the beginning.
