Hey guys! Masterwork jokes aside, if you like this one then please be sure to check out the other Dragon's Dogma chiptune arranges I've done as well! You can find them on my channel, or on the cards at the end of this video. And of course, always remember--their kind ill likes fire, Arisen!
Discovered this back in 2019 and played roughly 85% of Dark Arisen on my Switch with this in the background. Since then, I've been coming back to this every now and then for the past three years while thinking to myself: man, I wish Dragon's Dogma 2 was a thing. Now that Dragon's Dogma 2 is finally real, I feel like it's appropriate that I come back to this again. We made it, Arisen bros. We made it.
I can't even put into words how touching this is for me Thank you very much for enjoying my work, and let's hope DD2 brings us more masterworks to come!
@@carloscastrejon644 Indeed. It looks sick as shit and my only regret was that I couldn't catch it live cause I would have lost it when that Griffin pulled into view
I started playing DDDA approx 2 weeks ago. Got my last achievement earlier today after 150 hours of adventure. Can't believe I almost missed out on this crazy banger song. Neat rendition!
Finding your music is one of the best things to come out of the immediate aftermath of the Dragon's Dogma 2 announcement for me. Not only an aces chiptune arrangement of Into Free, but several excellent FFXIV arranges and some original work as well.
Huge Dragon's Dogma fan and this came up on my recommended for the first time ever. This is incredible!!! Definitely saving this one, keen to hear chiptune renditions of the sequel now that we know it's coming!
@@nadoProducer we've only still heard the rumors for now. But the original project leader for Dogma confirmed he wanted to work on a sequel after finishing Devil May Cry 5(Already released). Later interviewed again; he stated that at the moment, he could no longer comment about it. So if anything, take my comment with a grain of salt. Who knows, we could possibly be getting a sequel next year for next gen.
I wonder what Coils of Light would sound like in 8-bit Also, this is awesome! Personally, I'm very surprised to hear it actually sound this good in 8-bit!
I guess it's thanks to all the Dragon's Dogma 2 lately, but I'm glad this is recommended to me now at least. Definitely got to check out some more of these, but a great one to start with.
This was made with FamiTracker, using the 2A03 chip as a base with both VRC6 and MMC5 expansions! Not physical chips, but pretty good emulations of them with almost all the same limitations and idiosyncrasies.
@@nadoProducer That's awesome! I didn't know that you could limit yourself to similar hardware from the 8-bit era. I always thought 8-bit was more of a sound than an actual hardware limitation for the genre. Also, I just love this song.
@@BradsCollective Yeah! There's lots of cool hardware emulators out there that vary to some extent or another. FamiTracker, Deflemask, LSDJ, are a few that I can remember off the top of my head. Avoid GXSCC like the plague though... But yeah, all my chiptune work was made in FamiTracker! Glad you enjoy the music, and hopefully I can get more of it out pretty soon.
This is amazing work! You gonna do the other musics? I'd be quite interested in hearing the 8bit versions of the best songs that appear in boss fights. :3 Keep up the good work mah man! You're a Master Composer! Stay Composed! :P
It might be a cool project to slowly rework the entire DD soundtrack into 8bit... though I must warn you that music isn't my day job, so that'd take forever. Especially since I've always wanted to rework the BlazBlue OST into 8bit as well...
Hey dude, I was wondering if I could have your permission to use this in a video? It's nothing big but it's inspired by another comment here that I wanted to try.
@@nadoProducer Cool and Awesome! I just create Video projects for the Fighting Game Community, and the game i'm going to work on is Grand Blue fantasy Versus. There's a new character who pretty much uses Dragons, and Sword and Shield. I'll share the link once it's finish. Thanks and take care!
