@@dominiksmotolife I shouldn't say it's car oil, I should say it's the oil I put in my car and my motorbike ! :-) And 5W40 is supposed to be better than 10W40...
Are you useing motorcycle oil in your car? I don't use 5W40 because I think it is to thin. In sommer monaths I'm useing 10W50 because of the temperatures that the oil must withstand.
@@dominiksmotolife It's not about bikes or cars, on the can is written "four-stroke engine oil" and nothing else. A cheap and 100% synthetic oil which my bike likes a lot.
I didn't notice any difference with different oils...gearbox from Yamaha is not the best, changing gears it is always "hard" and loud. But it doesn't bother me too much ;)
@@dominiksmotolife With these oils I saw a softer feeling in the gearbox. The only thing that worries me is that they are synthetic and I don't know if I'm hurting the discs. That's why I'm asking you if I should go back to semi-synthetic oils like the ones you use very, very well. 👍
No, synthetic is always better. I'm useing also full synthetic. It's much better for the engine, belive me ;) I have tried 7100 but didn't notice any difference in gearbox feel...
This is what i call quality engine, this days its rarity.
I agree! ✌️
Yamahica dobila svoj doping 😁❤
Tako je! ;)
Hi, I'm thinking about Tracer 700/7 for my next bike. Did you have any technical issues or any problems with the bike through the years? Thank you!
Hi. In 104 000 km the only problem I had was with gear sensor. 50€ was new one
Cool that your Motorcycle has already done 100k km. How often did you change the motoroil? every 5k?
Thanks! Every 6-7K km.
How many times had you to change the chain during the 100'000 km?
@@waynhaluong8621 Three times.
what is the engine protecting bar u use? is it the one from Yamaha itself?
No, it is from Hepco&Backer.
My Tracer 7 has "only" 72 000 km but it still works like a charm. I put since the beginning my car oil in it (5W40).
Ufff car oil is not good for bike engines...

With this oil you put in how hard is the gearbox? I have the same motorcycle and i put the motul 7100 10w-40 for smoother gearbox. I am from Greece! 😊

Solange keine Teile defekt oder verschlissen sind, ist es auch das einzige, was man machen muss. Öl wechseln und fahren fahren fahren. 😂😂
