**REDACTION** My apologies,I originally said the left module cannot be rotated (to have sticks asymmetrical vs symmetrical), a mistake on my part, it can (thank you @stingaarshark6159 for the correction). I didn't align my module properly and assumed it couldn't be done. Correction, the left module can be rotated, the right cannot. The video will be updated to not cause further confusion. Thank you.
I must have completely misunderstood this mechanism and how it works. Are you saying I can undo the module itself and replace within the module, and then within the shell itself? Did I mess up again?!? 😓
Nah I just flip the whole module around and have it as a ps5 controller set up but sadly I can't get them new hall effect modules they don't ship to aus
Does this work with a steam deck? I don't see any reason why it shouldn't but the last time I had a controller like this where you could swap out the buttons I had to install firmware
Can I use this controller on the ps5 with the Xbox Hall effects ? If I but the ps controller and buy the Hall effects and place it on there will it still work ?
🫡 I wonder when their hall effect modules are gonna be back in stock because for owners of this game controller, it's pretty much a necessary buy from where I stand, the clarity of those sticks are ::chefskiss::. It's arguably some of the best hall sensors I've seen but we are a bit held back by no curve adjustment and 125hz polling rate. I wonder if they could software correct any of those two in the future, that would make this controller that much more better if the latency can stay amazing.
We all start somewhere, and we always can all do more growing. Hopefully, my content helps people do one or the other, as I constantly do myself. Thanks for being a part of it!
Hey man, I recently got the Elite v2 controller for fighting games and had that controller essentially die on me with the bumpers not being responsive and half the paddle buttons on the back losing sensitivity too. I was wondering if you think this is a good alternative for that in respects to fighting games. It looks like it meets all the criteria I'm looking for but I'm curious on how the sensitivity for the D PAD is. Specifically the diagonal inputs. I always struggle to hit those cleanly on the elite, it either doesn't register or goes from diagonal briefly to side or down input, which really messes up combos and what not. So how does the diagonal feel? I saw some DP's when you were playing street fighter, how does that feel? Smooth? Thanks for the review though!
It was surprisingly good, especially using the d-pad that the controller comes default with. I wasn’t expecting the result I got. The gliding was smooth, the precision was shockingly good, paired with that FightPad, it’s a fighting game dream if being honest. In fact, I’d say the Victrix is the best elite controller I’ve used for fighting games, and it is much better at being elite for those than it is for shooters, it’s great for that too don’t get me wrong, just, it’s unique and phenomenal for fighting games.
This controller is designed with EVO players in mind. You've seen them throw their precious controllers in rage? This Victrix Pro cannot survive such abuse. Whose fault is it? The player. Time to buy a new one beyotch.
The idea behind it is that many pro players want the controller to be as light as possible. With that said, I've opened PS5 controllers, I saw the haptic motor, it's deceivingly small, despite still holding "some" weight. In short, they made a controller for a specific market, I can't blame them. Still, I am of the same opinion as you, I wish it was still part of that product.
Honestly, and that may come as a surprised but if you're looking for a Pro controller specifically for Xbox, which I assume you are. I wouldn't rule out the Turtle Beach Stealth Ultra. It has hall effect, it's extremely robust and is so dang comfortable to hold. A real sleeper that controller in my honest opinion.
@@GameTechTalk Oh I’ve never heard of the Turtle beach before i’ll search that. I’m actually gonna use it for PC but it’d be a great bonus if I can use for PS5 tho not priority. I don’t have an xbox unfortunately. I’m kinda interested w/ the razer wolv v3 pro but don’t know if theres other cheaper but also great options. Thanks for responding man. ☺️
@@edssszy With pleasure. If you want something that can do both PS5 and PC, while retaining PS5 features, whilst adding Elite ones (and is not the Dualsense Edge), I could also recommend looking up HexGaming. I have their hall-effect model that I'll be reviewing in the next month, they had a lot of positives on the pre-release model I reviewed.
I would guarantee so, as it is licensed by Microsoft themselves, with that said, so does this one, as long as you are on the PC mode. Steam sees it as an X-Input controller, that's pretty much a near flawless compatibility over any of the popular storefronts. Outside of much older games, I wouldn't have any concerns. If you wish to play on PS4 or PS5 mode (to have the buttons match), that's where your mileage may vary.

Anybody encounter charging issues with this controllers , mine only work conected
Competitive with no gyro? Uh.... lol. I think they might have missed something perhaps.
wait it HAS NO GYRO?? WTF
Nope. In fact, I was following a Reddit thread a couple of days ago of people trying to find out if a gyro attachment exists to give it that feature.
@@GameTechTalk No I didn't mean you missed anything! I meant they did when making it lol.
@@Ricolaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Ahahah, you're good bud. I was addressing in the same direction, not against. 😅 I need to smile more in my videos 🤣
@@GameTechTalk You seem happy regardless that's all that matters 😎
You can just change the module and have the thumb stick where ever you want

@@stingaarshark6159 Hmmm… Maybe I missed something then, thanks for mentioning it, I’ll look this up more closely.
Fight pad looks interesting, does the touchpad work as a mouse in Windows?
It doesn’t natively but I’m pretty sure that can be addressed on Steam Input, with that said, I haven’t set this up myself.
Does this work with a steam deck? I don't see any reason why it shouldn't but the last time I had a controller like this where you could swap out the buttons I had to install firmware
It does work with the Steam Deck, even on the PS Modes. Steam Input is a powerful tool!
Can I use this controller on the ps5 with the Xbox Hall effects ? If I but the ps controller and buy the Hall effects and place it on there will it still work ?
Yup, everything works just fine! It's pretty neat actually.
For once I own one of these epic third party controllers

Can you flip the triangle x o ■ and the analog stick? Ive seen the dpad and stick flipped but not the other way?
You cannot flip the button side no.

😂😂😂 Nothing like keepin' it real! Modules be flying, poking eyes out.
The only thing that bothers me is the lack of a vibration option. Why not just make it something you can turn on or off?
