I love this. I have a 98 Corolla and it’s a tank. Bought it 6 years ago in high school. I’ve since been building my “race car” which is a manual g37 coupe but I still have my Corolla as my daily. I don’t want to get rid of it lol
Your videos been inspiring me to learn how to work on vehicles, and take care of everything my own. Specifically, buying a beater 8th gen corolla and fixing it up. Thanks man, subscribed :)
I want to see more of this! I just got a 2000 Corolla for free and it runs, drives and I’m working on the steering. It steers but it’s very stiff because the steering pump is leaking badly.
I have a 1999 Toyota Corolla. It looks just like this one. I just have a small problem with mine, my starter is going and I don't have the money to get a new one. But she runs amazing.
This is awesome I have a 1999 Corolla with close to 300K and even though it’s small I love it, it is a manual, which is great and I paid 10$ for it, with 279K on it, I’m considering rebuilding the motor and leaving the body looking the way it is, and do a little tuning so it’s got more power and will last me another 10 years
Someone stole the driver's side door off of my '96 Corolla this past September, but I can't bring myself to junk the car. It sits, lonely and cramped in our tiny garage. Even though I don't know much about cars, I've always wanted to restore the vehicle to its prime (it has an ugly chipped coat of matte paint over the exterior, broken power lock doors, deteriorating interior, but less than 170k miles). Your ethic around Corolla's gives me hope that I'm not alone in this futile desire.
Dude I’ve wanted to fix my Toyota Corolla since I’ve been able to drive and now I can ! Can you guys do a video on the speakers? I switched them a couple years ago but turns out I searched the wrong car year and my speakers where wrong.
We are currently up to 7. I have a white 1999 Corolla that was in serious need of assistance, and after all new suspension and brakes plus tons of interior work it's up on offer up and fb marketplace now, for a second life!
Dudes at 4:09 you said some truth. I just bought and restored a 98 corolla after selling my 06 Chrysler 300 touring. And I couldn’t be happier with the choice. Chrysler must be owned by the devil himself. Horrible cars.
I wish I could send you my car it's the same exact year I need help with my motor ugh ppl just scam women just because they don't see a man they can scam us 😢
More Corolla videos of that generation for sure. And longer ones too! This is good stuff.
Junkyards will be your best friend for parts. I drive a 1998 myself.
Im so glad you’re saving them!

Oil burner, keep adding oil and do 3-5 k mile oil changes always with cheap synthetic on this gen or face it burning a quart every 300 miles.
Check out DIYDAVE piston soak for the car
