I finally get the chance to work on this kit that's I've dragged for so long, I first reviewed this kit about a year ago and promised to customize it and here it is! I've done some pla plating, adding my own custom details as well as panel lines, the customization itself is not fancy nor complicated, I've decided to leave some of the features from 1997 alone like the Wings and articulation cause that really speaks from the time era. I have that kit as well as most of them from that group. Never thought it could look as good as this does. Amazing work. I can no longer do intricate work with my hands anymore. So its cool getting to see it done so well.

The first model kit I had when I was 6 (bought accidently thinking it was a Gundam action figure was The Heavy Arms Endless Waltz Version from that very same HG set as your Gundam Wing. It would be 20 years later before I got to gunpla, but I still have that Heavy Arms currently placed on my table next to my PC. This video has inspired me up to maybe do a little... touch up on my Heavy Arms as that was always my favorite of the group while Gundam Wing and EW was airing. Absolutely amazing work
Looks on par with a modern painted kit. Just goes to show how you can still make old kits shine. Personally the only thing I would have changed is I would have recast the chest gem to create a clear resin part, painted it with a clear gloss green and threw an LED in there too.
This was the first kit I ever built and then I took a 25 year break until two months ago. Good stuff.

Like how you showed a professional squeeze on that glue-set. Proper pressure endures an eleviates future time and costs leaving juss a finnal surface to achieve however you chose sanding or multiple light scrapings. Love your attention to the highest level Studio G 👍👍
This was the first gunpla kit I’ve ever built, I think I broke it as a child and threw it out but I’d love to revisit it and build it all again and give it a makeover like you have

I grew up with these older kits, so they already have a special place in my heart. But there's a certain charm to these older, simpler kits that I love. I'm still trying to recollect all of them so I can have the entire series again, but being a 20+ year old line of kits, it's very difficult and the ones I do find are extremely expensive.

This is really gorgeous work, I've played around with gunpla in the past and just recently picked it back up and got into it again.
I'd say my skills are beginner to mediocre at best, but I'm slowly working on it and hope to get more proficient and better with practice.
Honestly for such an old HG kit, aside from not being very well detailed and almost no color seperation the actual shape and dimensions of the kit holds up pretty well.

I am actually in the process of refurbishing and restoring my version of this same kit. Been slowly working on it, having to redo some of the polycaps after years of abuse and being moved alot. Glad to see another one of these being given it's due care and love!

Unfortunately the only Glory Of The Losers kits that are available are P-Bandai and they are a MG weapons expansion set and I think the Tallgeese Flugel. But in order to make all of the weapons upgrades for their counterparts you have to get 2 P-Bandai MG kits as well, the Tallgeese 2 and the Shenlong Gundam. Then the standard release of MG Deathsythe Hell EW and then you would have all that’s been released so far.
I mean they actually re-release Gundam Wing as an HD remake that follows Glory of Losers like they did with Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. @@willisjackson7029

It's definitely worth it. I'd recommend the Entry Grade RX-78-2 or EG Nu Gundam, both are great for beginners with fantastic end products
