Man i really cant give you enough credit, you make great content. over the past 5 months'ish you reignited my passion for 40k and the hobby in general , pushing me to learn more and to do better with each project, convinced me more recently to get a 3D printer (Bambu P1P) and make a customised work space that is designed for me by me, which has sent me down a rabbit hole that i never thought id be able to do, giving me more love for everything to do with and around this hobby. on a more important note you've help me with depression, if its either rewatching your older videos on a playlist while painting (your voice in calming) or sparking new idea's that i can put time into and love the outcome. I've been in this trip to viewing different creators and I LOVE everything about your video! Your voice, your cinematography, your humor, your descriptions, your techniques and experience and your art!
I got this kit recently and it is amazing, such a fun experience for a build and so fun to get into dynamic and powerful poses. you absolutely have to keep it poseable, it'd be a tragedy not to! so many moving parts and gimmicks, so fun to mess with and pose!
It's always great to see more Gunpla content from you. You really outdid yourself with the diorama, something about the colorful patch of nature next to the war-torn street really helped sell it as a Gundam diorama before the Gunpla even went down. Also, top-notch soundtrack, and camera work and effects on the final shot for this one!
Absolutely beautiful. And the pose... whole scene transmits some hope among the chaos. Telling a story. Congratulations. P.S. Video edit is over the top.
Before DnD, warhams, & all the other stuff.... yeah big Japanese robots were the win. I have a few kits I got in the mid-90's. 1 of them could transform from full suit gundam to a jet. The complexity in some of these kits is really nuts. Thx for another great video, those Japanese songs in the background really set the vibe.
Great great reveal shots. Thank you for giving us time in the regular play through of the video at regular speed to really savor the final product. It seems like so many videos fast forward through the final reveal.
Amazing work, you should be bloody proud. Found myself gravitating toward Gundam kits more than ever, I think it's the gratification of having a 'complete' finished product when you don't have much spare time, THEN the freedom to go ham with the panel lining and weathering stuff later if you like.

this is a beautiful piece of art and now i wanna get 2 of these kits one for building like normal and one for kitbashing other model kits with it to make some kind of monster
It's insane. Been building them off and on for twenty years and still amazed. If you ever have a chance, check out the "Perfect Grade" kits. They cost hundreds of dollars, but are worth every penny.
Bloody Gundams! I hope you don't lose too many subs on this, Dave. The unwashed masses don't know what a joy these Bandai kits are to build compared to the nightmare of GW kits these days. Edit: You, General Sam, and Baumgartner Restoration are the only creators I actually watch the sponsored segments from.
Gunpla has quickly become my new favorite hobby, next to tabletop boardgames and RPGs. They're just so chill to build, most of the time, and look great on a shelf in badass poses.
I honestly cant wait to get back to gunpla building again. A lot of my time in the past few years has restricted that hobby due to limited housing space and shelf space. Getting a gf for sure affected that because I wasnt living on my own anymore and had to share a hobby room, I still love her though haha. Secondly, I have poured a lot of my downtime and hobby focus into the miniature hobby around the same time I met my girl a few years ago. Over those few years I have also sold off lots of unbuilt, built and painted kits. Most of those gunpla were things I didnt care for too much anymore, with the majority just being built and displayed with a sprinkle of early paint job pieces thrown in. With all of the new knowledge I have obtained from the minature hobby in terms of basing and set peices, Im really looking forward to jumping back in an creating some awesome diorama peices like this one here. Great work main!! This looks like you had soo much fun creating
Such a cool model kit and is for sure a grail kit for loads of us Gunpla fans! I really like the pose you filmed and with your camera work, lighting, and rain effect it really evoked that sense of desperation and salvation those people on the street would be feeling. I would definitely keep the Gundam unglued if it were mine so I could change it around from time to time because my inner child would still want to play with it! Well done! Also, the roadside garden is 🤌
I love the touch the roadside flowers add to such a devastating scene. In the anime where the Strike Freedom kit comes from, one character remarks that flowers, no matter how beautiful, will always be blown away by someone. The pilot of the Strike Freedom replies that they can always be replanted, playing into shows themes. The final product though... GunDAMN does it look good.
I got my MGEX Strike Freedom through a JP middle man when it was first released. It took a week of 4 hours per day for me to straight assemble it, and I have been looking forward to painting it, thanks for the inspiration!!
